This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale
items at our
various local J.Crew stores. ;)
If
you are stopped
by a J.Crew store this past weekend
to see what's available (if
anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS
{sigh!} in person, maybe you
might be willing to
share that with us in this post. In
particular, if you could share
with us a few of the noteworthy items
that are available, at what
prices, and potential sizes the
store is carrying (as well as the
store location)- that would be
fantastic!
Also, please
let us know if your local store
was/ is carrying an additional
percent off sale. Thanks in
advance!!! :)
I went to jcrew but didn't find anything I needed. I had MUCH better luck at Bloomingdales which was offering an extra 40% off sale prices and then another 20% off that for Loyalists. I was able to snag a down North Face coat for $26 and a long down Mackage coat for $96 (retails $850)! I'd strongly recommend stopping by if you have one near you.
ReplyDeleteWow, score!! I wish we had one near me.
DeleteJust bit today due to 40% off and free shipping. A few plaid shirts for my husband and the Roxie zebra pumps which I've admired since they came out. They may be too high for me but with no risk, I had to try them.
ReplyDeleteNo visit to the regular store for me but loving my J.Crew sunglasses. Very nice quality and love the navy. I think they are either Sam or Betty, can't remember right off.
ReplyDeleteI think only the sam came in navy.
DeleteI just got back from my local store, no luck. 40% off sale, whereas it was 50% the last time I went in 10 days ago, yet the selection hadn't really changed. Maybe a few more shoes than last time, but nothing that I wanted. Not sure there's anything for me today, even with free shipping.
ReplyDeleteJust purchased the Lucite Link Necklace in tuscan olive, using my rewards card and free shipping! So very happy.
ReplyDeleteYou will love it! I have the pink one and it's fab.
DeleteI haven't seen the olive one in person, but I love the pink one. I think the olive Nicholas would be awesome going into fall.
Delete@Vava - I'm excited to wear it!
Delete@Shopping Celle - Maqsadshop took a photo of it and posted it on her IG. I like the olive color because it almost looks black when it's worn. :)
Took advantage of free shipping today and 30% off to order the striped wide belt in green, black and ivory. It's online only & I've wanted to try. Also, went to the store yesterday to make returns and picked up chambray crystal earrings. Didn't expect to see them on sale since they were released recently. They're beautiful and lightweight. Wore them again today. Also, bought the linen gingham pleated skirt that's on sale; with the $25 bounce back card it was $8. Stopped into Madewell and their 30% off sale wasn't final sale. Decided to try on the denim overall dress on a whim and the silk batik distance skirt. I love the dress and wore it today to lunch; posted pics on my IG (peterst1). This is my 2nd distance skirt; I love the dark cabernet version and this batik option works great as a casual item that's not too short. The colors in the skirt work as a neutral, so lots of pairing options for a top. Also, if anyone is interested in the silk island skirt, it's $39.99 in store +30% off as opposed to $79.99 online. I love this skirt and have it in the camouflage green and the black. The green works with the J Crew silk olive camisole; almost a perfect match. Ordered the black today also since it's on sale; these camis are staples in my wardrobe. I have them in multiple colors and they work well as layers or alone.
ReplyDeleteThat Madewell dress looks really fantastic on you. Thanks for sharing pictures and reviews.
DeleteThank you so much! Happy to help!
DeleteGot an email with 25% off your purchase + free shipping. Took advantage of the promo and a CS found the 'oversized gingham midi skirt' in a store in Canada for me. Can't wait for it to arrive on my doorstep!
ReplyDeleteI went to factory this weekend and they had a bunch of current retail styles. I almost died. Sizing was not great they only had one of each mainly... Plus all of the items cost between 12-15 after the extra factory discounts...this must be what it is like to go to the clearance store but on a smaller scale..I tried on a bunch of stuff they had a lot of gorgeous dresses for these prices. They had the stripe bell sleeve dress for 15 that is currently full price at retail..only one and too big for me....I did get a pair of green pants, navy leggings, and of the plaid spring popovers. Each is still in retail but on clearance but still much more than what I said. I paid 10-15 per item. I have never seen this much retail stuff in factory before but huge thumbs up!!
