  1. Is the gingham shirtdress (the longer one, f3174) in stores or is it online only? Also, I know this has been mentioned before, but is JC doing pop backs differently? It used to be I could check first thing in the morning and they'd be there (like 6-7am), now when I check early, nothing, but if I check later in the day, things show up at random times (?).

    1. It feels like inventory shows up at random times, lately, from my experience. I usually bookmark an item on my phone, so I can stalk it often.

    2. There have been some decent sale updates in the mornings this week. One was 2000+ and I think today's was just short of that amount. I wasn't paying close attention, but I think the updates have been before 7am ET.

  5. I bit on a couple of black dresses (Bell Sleeve Crepe Dress and Cap Sleeve dress in Super 120s) and a belt. It seems like I never have a black dress when I need one. Maybe one of these will work out. Not sure I'll like the crepe fabric, but I'll give it a try.

  7. Has anyone tried the Cotton Romper? Wondering if it fits similar to the Drapey Romper?

  8. The one item I'm interested in is excluded from promo (bow shoulder top in oversized gingham) so nothing for me from this sale.

  9. The two items I'm interested in are both excluded from the promo, so I'm not so sure I'll be taking advantage of this one.

On another note, Madewell decreased their % off on sale styles from 30% to 20%. So glad I placed my orders earlier this week.

    1. OT: Many other retailers besides J.Crew & Madewell are offering excellent sales this holiday weekend. I've shared my weekly list, along with my personal picks in this post, for those interested. :)

  10. I ordered the Fringe Slingback sandals in navy. Unfortunately, I had a card for $25 they sent for my birthday, but it was a promo code so I wasn't able to use it and the WEEKEND code - total bummer, but the sandals got rave reviews, so I decided to try them.

    1. Email or chat and ask if they'll apply it to your order-they've done things like that before :)

  11. I wish J.Crew offered free shipping for this promo. I want to order the lucite necklace using my rewards but I don't want to add other items for the purpose of getting the free shipping...

    1. @JSR, I've had luck with having the store order; no shipping charge and sometimes they upgrade to UPS ground too.

    2. I agree with mygoddy, you could call Ina's store ;)
Also, if you talk to on online vps they will give you free shipping. I accidentally called that number recently instead of the main cs line and they were very helpful and offered free shipping. I spoke with Serena (ext. 53165).
