Take 25% Off Spring Must Haves {extra 30-50% off sale too!}

"Thanks!" to many of you, who let us know about the following promotion this morning.

J.Crew is offering customers to take an extra 25% off select full-price warmer-weather styles with promo code HAPPYSPRING. The offer expires March 29, 2015. The fine print includes:
*Offer valid on the purchase of select full-price items in J.Crew stores and at jcrew.com from March 25, 2015, 12:01am ET through March 29, 2015, 11:59pm ET. In-store discount as advertised. 25% discount valid online on items marked "25% off with code HAPPYSPRING." Offer not valid in the 769 Madison Avenue store, Liquor Store, Ludlow Shops, J.Crew Factory stores, at jcrewfactory.com or on phone orders. Offer cannot be applied to previous purchases or the purchase of gift cards and cannot be redeemed for cash or used in combination with any other offer. In-store discount automatically taken at the register. To redeem online, enter code HAPPYSPRING in the promo code box at checkout. Limit one promotional code per order. Offer valid in the U.S. and Canada only. Terms of offer are subject to change.
This is another nice promotion for regular priced merchandise over at J.Crew. Although, what I am pleased to see is that they brought back the additional percent off for sale merchandise...

J.Crew is again offering an extra 30% off Spring sale and an extra 50% off Final sale items for purchases made online with code HAPPYSPRING. B&M stores were still offering an additional 40% off sale.

Will you be taking advantage of this promotion? What item are you hoping to pick up? Please share!

  1. I decided to finally try the jet set geo shell ($41.99 after promo) - even though someone on here (I think) posted a review and the sides had a weird overlap, but I love tops like that for summer so will give it a go. Got some crewcuts new balance for my daughter $27.99 after promo! A skirt I wanted to try was sold out, I'm very interested in the keyhole dress (item b8522) but I'm worried the keyhole might go too low and also the reviews say the fit is pretty bad... anyone tried that one on?

    1. I picked up he jet set geo top in store today, I usually wear a size four but when down to a size 2. There was no gapping on the side. It's a really lovely top.

    4. I think I went down a size in the Jet Set Geo Shell. I only tried on in the store, didn't buy it, but I didn't notice any weird overlap. It's a cute top and still on my thinking-about-it list.

    1. Greetings Lauren - If you haven't already, this is where you may need to start calling stores, as they may have them in stock (but not online). I usually start with the store closest to me, and if they don't have it, ask them to check their iPad of Inventory Magic to see what other stores nearby (or far away) might have the item. If it is nearby, call the store and ask them to hold it for a day until you can get there. If the store is far away, ask the SA to do a charge-send. They are typically very accommodating with this and should honor the current selling price and promotion. It's a little legwork on your part, but worth it if you really want the item. Online CS can also do this, but I seem to have better luck with actual stores when the item I wasn't paying attention to but that I now REALLY REALLY HAVE TO HAVE since it is sold out becomes unavailable. Good luck! Jennifer

    3. JenniferD, thanks for your response! I did do the things you suggested with no such luck. I love to read your responses to people on this site! So friendly and helpful ;)
      Ina, thanks so much! You are awesome! The cuff is on it's way to me.

  3. There is a new dress in stores, same material as the punched out eyelet skirt and shorts. Very cute and flattering!

  4. Holy popbacks Batman! Saw so many styles from over a year ago - lilac jeweled sweater, rory dress - and weirdly, at least those two items were in the same size I ordered and returned (at different times though). Had to resist the urge to try again...

    Lucky for me, the one item that interested me in Fall 2014 - the verdant floral collection dress in wool silk - which was completely unavailable from the minute it hit the site last year in mist sizes and colors - popped back yesterday - and I snagged it! Given the fit issues between me and J Crew lately I'm not optimistic it will work on me - but it's item # B2328 Collection verdant floral dress - still available in sizes 0 and 4. Looks like a classic - but I'm worried the skirt will flare too much.

    I am very tempted by all of the suiting dresses in super 120s wool - a great fabric - but the v-necks look too low. J.Crew's petite dresses have a waist that's too high on me and hem too short for my taste, and their regular size dresses have waists and hems that suit me but the necklines are too low and often the armpit holes are just way too big. Any other shorties have similar problems?
