48 Hour Sale: 25% Off Your Order {plus free shipping!}

"Thanks!" to many of you, who let us know about the following promotion this morning.

J.Crew is offering customers to take an extra 25% off your order (with some final sale at an additional 50% off), plus free shipping on all orders (!!!), with promo code SPRINGSTYLE. The offer expires March 10, 2015. The fine print includes:
*Offer valid on the purchase of items marked "25% off with code SPRINGSTYLE" at jcrew.com from March 9, 2015, 12:01am ET through March 10, 2015, 11:59pm ET. Offer not valid in J.Crew or J.Crew Factory stores, at jcrewfactory.com or on phone orders. Offer cannot be applied to previous purchases or the purchase of gift cards and cannot be redeemed for cash or used in combination with any other offer. Offer not valid on select men's suiting, shirts, Wallace & Barnes items or Ludlow shoes; women's fine jewelry; select women's pants, jackets or outerwear; select crewcuts, Collection, Garments for Good, wedding or third-party branded merchandise. To redeem, enter code SPRINGSTYLE in the promo code box at checkout. Limit one promotional code per order. Offer valid in the U.S. and Canada only. Terms of offer are subject to change.
It is always nice to see an additional percent off regular priced merchandise. However, I am surprised the sale is back to 25% off. Ah well! At least there is free shipping on all orders. That is a nice bonus!

Will you be taking advantage of this promotion? What item are you hoping to pick up? Please share!

  1. Of course there is a sale today.....since I placed a large order YESTERDAY! Geez....it's a guarantee that when I place an order the very next day everything I ordered goes on sale! Calling for a price adjustment now!

  2. I've been debating about the Skinny Stretch Cargo pant. The reviews seem mixed as to whether to size down or not. Any thoughts?

I love the painter tees, so may use this promo to add to my collection.

    1. i had this same problem too... thanks to JCAs, i decided to stick with my toothpick jeans size. i tried one size smaller, but they seemed too tight and i doubt they would stretch enough to feel comfortable.

    2. I also thought they were true to size. Here are pics from the dressing room.

  3. I ordered the sequin flats in the gold color. They said to size down a half size, hope they are correct about that. No reviews, so it's kind of dubious.

    1. Are you talking about the D'Orsay flats? They were TTS for me despite that the website says to size down half a size.I dont have the sequined ones though, but the fabric ones.

    2. Hi Ina,
the sequinned D'Orsay flats are what I ordered. I guess if they are too small and see about exchanging to my true size. And if I have to do that, I'll rally for free shipping since they are the ones who said to order a half size down! LOL

  4. I think I'm going to take advantage of this sale to order the structured mini skirt -- it seems to be selling out quickly and wasn't available at the store near me (Philly). The mint color in my size (6) is already gone and persimmon is showing as "only a few left." Anyone tried it and have any thoughts on it?

  5. It seems that JC is trying to make room for new merchandise that will be in stores this week. I received an invite by email to stop by at my B&M store this Tuesday between 6 and 8pm ,when new items would be in and stylists would be at hand.

  6. I stopped at my store and they had new things on the floor but nothing that I have to have NOW (there is a very pretty ribbed v-neck cardigan in a shimmery white though that I am going to get at some point). I went to try on the pull-on pleated silk pants in navy that I had already tried on when they came out (but snow was up to my nose so I didn't buy). I love these pants, they have an amazing drape and look cool but a bit dressier than other slouchy pants. They seem good for travel too (my current obsession). Hint: they came up from the stock basement and they didn't have a single wrinkle). TTS on me.

  8. Really wanted the slim sweatpants #02440 in marled graphite but the full price, shipping and exchange rate of over 20% told me no. Happy to report that my PS found them in a store, 25% off and free shipping all came together.

    Hello new fleece.

  9. I ordered the hayes suede sandals in the nude/beige color and a white cardigan I can't recall the name of that has a slight sparkle to it. I think the cardigan is super cute for the spring. The 25% off and the free shipping allowed me to pull the trigger on them and place the order.
