Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. New promo up: 30% off final sale with code SHOPSALE. Kind of lame but some of the more desirable (for some people) items are on promo right now. Examples: Downtown Field Jacket for $77, Cece ballet flats for $65, and Downing tote for $96. I bet these items will be back at full price in the am but you never know...

    1. Just to clarify, these are the prices with the current markdown and 30% off applied...

    2. Over 2400+ items in the women's sale section. You would think that the pieces hanging around from 2013 would have lower sale prices & 50% off instead of 30%, I think we need another round of "Let it Go!" I'm looking at you Merino Scarf Sweater that's already been knocked off and put on sale at Factory.

    3. Yep, they put the downtown field jacket back to FP already, prob other things too.

  4. That is a lame sale promo. Crazy pop backs yesterday from years past, too. I really think JCREW should offer Free Ship on sale items or lower the minimum. Sorry I'm like a broken record.

  5. Not planning on going to a store this weekend due to the snow and this promo is kinda lame. I bit anyway when a few items I was interested in popped back.

  6. Now they've changed the promotion to Cardextra so you save 30% plus an extra 10%. While I'm happy to see the extra cardholder bonus, I have to make some emails now for a price adjustment. GRRRH

  7. I posted a pic/review on Insta of the convertible puffer (B6791) that was in the 50% sale category ($49.99) during last promo. I really like it, especially for that price. It's a well made jacket. TTS on me (as other reviewers said it is a bit roomy in the mid section but it would be too small in the shoulders and chest if I si lied down. Not a big deal. It has a bit of a moto/tough look to it IMO.

    1. That should read "if I sized down". To be clear, I ordered my regular XS and I am a 2 in blazers/coats.

  8. OT, but I didn't realize Jcrew was sending birthday perks to cardholders. Is this new? I received a birthday card from them along with a gift card for $25 off a $100 purchase.

    5. Maybe after dismal January sales, the marketing team had to come up with a new plan. Happy to see this but maybe they needed to send out a January style guide too! (Duh)

    1. i looked through the april guide.
It is about the classics in the beginning, then the regent blazer in lots of colors,
It has some new strappy sandals, the Malta sandals from last year are back too. The Dulcis come in a stripe with a bow and there are some lace up espadrilles.
I love the vneck cardi and the huarache mules in blush.
The silky knit tee is my fave and i bought it in navy( pic on my IG @inawonderland5).

  10. Definitely check online prices before you go to the store. As usual J Crew makes my non-math brain hurt. I stopped by to try on the Layering Vest for size since it is final sale, which is $69.99 with 50% off online. My store was offering 40% off sale price but since they did not have my size they ordered online and I got it for $31.50. But if I had gotten it in store it would have only been 40% off. I did get the additional 10% for using my card.

  11. Made the trek down to the Eaton Centre as I feel like I've been trapped inside by weather for too too long! Picked up the laser-cut pleated skirt and the xoxo t-shirt from the sale rack, and after much thought (a week) the geo-print dress, which was not on sale. The zips up the sides of the dress make it wearable as either a dress or a tunic, which increases the versatility, and I love the print! Pics on my insta

    1. Gigi, that dress is from the new catalog, it also comes in radiant orange and navy. I stopped by Cherry Creek, CO store last night since I was heading to Madewell. Saw a number of items from the new catalog, which surprised me since they had the March one out on the counter. I mentioned it and they were not aware, said those items arrived in store last week with more coming for Tuesday.

  16. I just ordered the Harper flat mules in black size 10. 10.5 sold out for now. Hope they fit....J.Crew sizing is weird for me. also order the perforated monk strap. I've been searching for a white oxford and can't find any. This one isn't really white...but maybe it'll be ok. Order 10.5...again, hope they fit. And I'm going to give the pleated midi skirt in stripe a try. Even though that waist type is not my favorite. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

  18. I stopped at the Factory store to return the smaller size of the Factory Jacquard pants which I just reviewed on my blog here.

While there, I tried on a few dresses, both 40% off in store - the Short-Sleeve Basketweave dress and Crepe Short-Sleeve Dress in bright emerald - both thumbs up, although the material on the crepe dress was odd. But - on the upside, they're both knee length on my 5'8" frame and allow for my curvy figure. Yay! You can see try on pictures on my blog here.

Other than the dresses, I didn't spend much time browsing as I really wanted to get in and out of there only making the return! Clearly that didn't work being waylaid by the dresses but I'm not in any sort of summer gear mode yet.
