J.Crew Reviews {straight from the JCAs!}

This is the weekly "J.Crew Reviews {straight from the JCAs}" post, to help each other share our reviews.

So if you have recently purchased, or stopped by a J.Crew store to try on an item (or two) from J.Crew, maybe you might be willing to share that information with us in this post.

Also, this request is not just limited to clothes. Please feel free to discuss bags, shoes, jewelry, accessories, etc.

In particular, if you could mention a few of the noteworthy details like fit, size, fabric, and the like— that would be fantastic! Thanks in advance! :)

    5. Took long frozen walk at lunchtime to procure a J Crew catalog - oops, Style Guide. My store didn't have them out and wouldn't give me one. "Tomorrow" they said. Yeah, it's going to be even more frigid tomorrow. I'll wait for the mailman. Thanks, J. Crew.

    4. I love love the collection! It is wack-a-doodle per Gayle, but there are standout pieces I would love to own.

Love the tie on A-line skirt in blush, the nubby toggle coat worn with a knitted fair isle sweater and skirt, cream jumpsuit-yum!...can't really pull that off since it probably won't be offered in petite. The super wide legged pants in grey (that looks like a long skirt, Jenna is wearing it but in pinstripe).
The collarless and sleeveless coat in cream...that one was nice, too. Also the fake fur jacket in rust color-so fun!

And then in a class by itself is the Pantsuit Onesie.
      Splrrffff.

    6. it took more than one look to realize that the pantsuit onesie was not a long coat. i think that it going to be a tough sell. The logistics of that garment are unimaginable in a public restroom. i do see many other pretty things.I will keep my fingers crossed for fabric quality and petite options.

    7. If that thing actually makes it to production, I will seriously go to a store and try it on just because I think it would look so hilarious on my 5'2", squatty little square self. And then put the picture on my holiday cards next year because awesome.

  5. I tried a few of the new arrivals today.
The boy shirt in jet set geo.I tried my usual 0 and it was tight in the back,so i probably would have to size up.The print is very nice, shirt is relatively thin.
Next the jet set geo shell in glamourous pink.I really like that one.My regular 0 fits fi ne,so TTS. Great color combo!
The lace applique tank in navy. I like ita lot,but had to size down to an xxs in order to not show my bra under my arms.
i also saw some nice sandels in gold and black that are not in the catalog and they are on my buy list.
I also tried a short sleeved top in mint that i really liked. i didnt get it because it is dry clean only and that doesnt work for my lifestyle. It was TTs and the 0 fit me.

  6. I'm styling the Indigo Gauze Popover on the blog today. It's very lightweight and runs big in my opinion.

  7. I received the Collection silk secretary blouse in willoughby pine - Ordered a size 2 to try on. I say it fits TTS. For reference I am 36B. The V-cut is a tad low, so you might want to consider how you can hide your girls. :)
Its nicely made. The green is more on the blue shade. It's an okay blouse..I'd probably be more excited about it if its on sale. At least its not poly.
