There is also a decent update to the Holiday Sale section (click here to shop online) this morning. With over 800+ items for Women and 200+ items for Men. There are also a lot of new items on sale and additional markdowns on other items. Yey!
Will you be checking out J.Crew? Are there any items you are interested in getting? If so, please share. :)
Looks like there are quite a few new additions to the sale section.
ReplyDeleteSubscribing. :)
ReplyDeleteI thought it would be 30% off and free shipping on any order today ;-). I cought a popback of the Blythe in extravagant green in a 2. I am normally a 0 but I am willing to give the 2 a try for that fabulous price since it is sold out everywhere and it never popped back. They gave me free shipping on top of that because I placed two +$100 yesterday. Very happy!
ReplyDeleteGotta love no final sale!
Yes. I was hoping for free shipping no minimum today too. No ordering for me. As there is no way I could reach 100 dollars.
ReplyDeleteWow lots of new markdowns on fairly new items like the purple hutton trousers and some of those fancy shiny capris, haha. They are weird, no wonder they are on sale so fast. Kinda surprised to see the polka dot blouson dress for $49.99!
ReplyDeleteI reordered the cocoa brown trouser cords since they went down another $10 and added a couple of other colors.
ReplyDeleteI ordered the Invitation Clutch in Suede, did NOT need another suede bag but couldn't resist for 99.99 - 30%.
ReplyDeleteThis is seriously OT and Alexis I will understand if you delete but you are all such experts ... I have to start a blog for my class and I don't know where to begin. If any JCAs would be so kind as to email me with any tips on how to get started and up to speed FAST I would be FOREVER grateful.

So many promos...so little time. I'm headed to my store today to make a return (so long blouson dress, my stomach area didn't' like you) and have a lady lace popover coming my way today. Can't wait to get it!

ReplyDeleteHi... Carolyn from Vancouver here.
My first ever online order has been shipped (ordered on sunday) Now it says 4-5 business days but on the tracking it looks like I will not get until 9-10 days.
This means mesSing up my returning
my extra sizes to the Seattle store.
Do most of you return to the B&M for online orders ?
Once the Vancouver stores open ( really excited over this) I will be able to try sizes and order/return to my hearts content.
I have been helped by the reviews from all of you and will let my fellow Canadians know about my experience...time, money and condition of my deliveries when they get here....So excited its kind of creapy. Merry Xmas to all j crew A's Carolyn from VAN.
Hey Carolyn -- yes, shipping time to Canada can be hit or miss, it all really depends on how quickly they process the order and it goes out the door. Sometimes it's super fast, like I'll get a notice the next day that my order has been shipped; other times, for no reason, it doesn't ship for several days. Also, keep in mind that shipping is usually measured by business days, so often no movement on the weekends and definitely not holidays.
ReplyDeleteI travel to the US a few times a year, so I try to bundle any returns and do it at a B&M store to save the return shipping fees. But I do a lot of returns through Canada Post as well. I long for the day when Canadian orders come with a free return shipping lable like they get in the US.
I've been ordering JCrew for 20+ years, and it's always exciting when I know there's a box on its way to me! :)
Merry Christmas!
@ Ema - I think you grabbed my Blythe! I'm kidding - I had it in my cart too and hesitated. I did however re-grab the Boulevard Trench for $160. In saddle! YAY!
ReplyDeleteI just went to the Roc Center store this morning and the guy ringing me up said it will be 30% off (at least in stores) until Christmas Eve.
ReplyDeleteDone Shopping so this promotion does nothing...I am anxiously awaiting for the new early spring items to arrive (I know it's early) but I'm over the poorly made sweaters.
ReplyDeleteI jumped on at 6am lol and was able to get two coats for $117
ReplyDeleteI snagged the Double Cloth Lady Day with thinsulate in aosis green for $56 and the Plaza coat in Natural for $55!!! I am stoked! My husband thought I was crazy! I'm pissed I didn't grab my glen p
OperaRach, sorry! I hate when it happens and I was on the phone with a cs rep (to get the free shipping) who kept talking and I was like "Let's cut the crap and get to the end of this order or it will fly off my cart!". I will let you know if it doesn't work, there os a chance that is going to me too big because of the sleeve length (the sleeves in the 0 were already a bit too long).
ReplyDeleteOn the other side I was on the phone with a crs yesterday and she told me that it is coming back for spring in this color, so in any case I have my hopes up. This is the one thing that I regretted not buying fp.
Darn it, the one day I didn't check the sale section first thing in the morning! :-p
ReplyDelete@Michelle -- congrats on your deals!
Ema- crack me up! I've been there too. When they say "it looks like there is one in your size available" I just want to say "I know, I know, I've been stalking this for a week and it's 5 AM and you finally restocked the sale section, so please can we get on this with!" Lol. All in good cher!
ReplyDeletecheer. not cher. though she rocks too.
ReplyDeleteSome of the new cuts at the top of this post.
ReplyDeleteSo tempting...but I think I'm going to wait until I get my rewards card (I think I spent enough this time around) before I start shopping again :)
ReplyDeleteAnyone know when they give those out? January?
@OperaRanch: so happy you got the coat for $160. YAY!
ReplyDeleteHad to start Christmas shopping, so I hit the B&M at South Coast Plaza. Crowded but got this helpful, sweet salesperson.
ReplyDeleteMy haul: Gray thermal tee and navy jersey pullover for my nephew. He coaches Pop Warner football and is a golfer, so I have to make sure everything is masculine.
For me, I got a camel cardigan trimmed in black. The three pieces cost $75, including tax.
I finally went into my store and my PS said the 30% off will continue until Sat. He said their store is doing well, too, so I guess that's good. Actually, I don't think it's good! I want to see better quality again and prices in line with materials & quality...
ReplyDeleteCarolyn from Vancouver here ....
ReplyDeleteJust saw a e-mail my order is in Richmond B.C (a suburb of Vancouver proper) delivery is set for thursday..this would make it four business days from placing order... oh I can hardly wait. A couple of necklaces to wear to dress up some outfits and a cashmere henley.
I am going to go to Seattle on boxing day...Up here in Canada some stores like the GAP don't allow returns on this day due to the long line- ups for on sale merchandise....anyone aware of this for the us stores ? If I can't return I would delay going a day.
After reading the post about the jardin skirt (seems like it is better suited for summer) I will bring it to Seattle as an JCA mentioned it was on sale in store for about half of what I paid ...even though I got with 30% off.
Most of all I am excited about the sandels , necklaces and braclets( but again will check if store prices are alot lower )
So far I have had two very polite and kind of humerous e-mails from J. Crew. Hope the rest goes well. I will be anxiously waiting for the package to arrive... Thanks again jca's for all the help. Carolyn from Vancouver
@ sue.bee - Thanks! Yes super excited to score that coat at that price. I was having trouble swallowing it at $227 but I think I can do $160 for a coat I will wear for the rest of my life...

ReplyDeleteCarolyne, no boxing day no-returns rules here but it is true that it can be a crazy day in stores and maybe you are not going to get an excellent customer service just because of the crowds and tired SAs.
ReplyDeleteOh well I had no idea what 'boxing day' was, so I googled! Where I came from, we do not have such a thing. Hmm good to know! Saved me from being snarled at... I'm glad I read through all the comments here ;)
ReplyDeleteSo...I kind of went to town on this 30% off sale. :) Bought a lot of holiday gifts for others - and a couple for myself. Happy holidays!

Passing on the promo, for a change! JC has already received most of my holiday spending this month. Plus, I'll be at a couple of B&M stores next week, and hope to scoop up some great post-Xmas deals.
