* Offer valid at jcrew.com and J.Crew retail stores only. Offer is not valid at J.Crew Factory stores. No exchanges, no returns on items marked as final sale. Offer does not apply to previous purchases or the purchase of gift cards. Additional 30% off discount applies to J.Crew sale and Factory online sale items only. Offer valid through Sunday, November 20, 2011, 11:59pm ET. Savings are applied at checkout with code MUSTHAVE. Offer not valid on phone orders. Limit one promotional code per order. Details of offer are subject to change.I have been eagerly waiting for this promotion in Sale (click here to shop online). Now let's hope J.Crew has some decent updates in the sale section. (So far so good too. This morning there were 950+ for women and 240+ for men.)
I am also happy this offer also extends to J.Crew's brick & mortar stores. (It's always a pain to see something in store and know you could pay less online because of an online only promotion.) My plan is to stop by at some point this week. :)
Will you be checking out the Sale section? Are there any items you are hoping to see or to get?
I had some items in my cart over the weekend that were on promo, like the perfect-fit ribbon henley and slouchy dolman-sleeve sweatshirt, but they were bumped back to FP this morning so I'll be sitting this one out.
ReplyDeleteNot much for me in the Sale section. I did get a puffer for my son though and am happy for the % off.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone sees the
Matchstick jean in overdyed black denim in your store, can you let me know please! I have been waiting for a Size 26 to pop back but they never have. Happy Monday everyone!
No thanks. Nothing in sale for me, not to mention that I do not need another thing! I am now strictly waiting for for an outerwear promo and than I am done.

ReplyDeleteI'm still waiting for items to arrive from the last sale.
ReplyDeleteI notice there were some new items added that still have a good selection of sizes, I added them to my post here.
Slim pickings and prices are better in store.
ReplyDeleteNothing there this morning for me. Wonder if they'll do any more updates?
ReplyDeleteHm, now I might have to go to the store today, as I put a couple of the Jenna sweaters on hold. $40 - 30% is a nice price.
BTW, they also had a ton of the enamel bangles on sale in store. Reason...they're sooo small! I have small hands and I couldn't get one of them on. So annoying -- did they not test these out?
shopwithm - I too tried on the enamel bracelets in the store a week ago and couldn't get them on. Kate Spade ones fit me fine (a little big even) and I have a 1" JC enamel one from a few years ago that fits fine. I really wanted the black and white one but no go here. I was able to get a 1" one on but almost couldn't get it off. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one!

ReplyDeleteI did bite, and ordered the glitter pumps (starla ankle strap) and was shocked to see I got free shipping. I didn't see it mentioned in the promo detail box, or on my sign in page. But I'll take it! ;D
ReplyDeleteWell, my wrist is child size so the bangles might work for me. If my store has any left in a couple of weeks when I am able to go, will check them out......
ReplyDeletenot exactly the promo I had been hoping for since I still haven't figured out what size I am... :(
ReplyDeleteI am shopped out and it's not even Thanksgiving yet! Shopped the Saks pre-sale last week and Bloomingdales and Sephora F&F this weekend, now I need to rest or at least enjoy my purchases before I shop again :-).
ReplyDeleteJust hope they will be adding new items throughout the week. I did place an order on the cashemere boyfriend cardigan on the weekend and managed to get it on sale price.
ReplyDeleteI am absolutely shopped out! Wow the promos keep coming. I have everything tucked away for Christmas for my family and a large box of returns from the last promo... I'll be trying to avoid even looking so I am not tempted!
ReplyDeleteTo highlight how much damage I've done at J. Crew with the two 25% off sales and now the MUSTHAVE (cashmere henley and Loxley buckle peep toes), I have earned more than $60 in cash back from ebates!
ReplyDeleteAll free shipping, too. Now, I'm only buying gifts from here on out!
I'm with CrewGurl: I'm waiting for an outerwear promo and then I'm all set.

ReplyDeleteI just bought a couple sale items yesterday and have to go back to return 1 of the 3 items today, have people had luck with price adjustments when extra off kicks in the day after you make a purchase?
ReplyDeletesub
ReplyDeleteWeird. The shimmer skirt is listed as "final sale"
ReplyDelete(Yes, I'm still browsing, even after claiming "I'm done!")
If anyone is in a B&M and notices if the cafe capri crop in blackwatch plaid is on sale, can you please let me know? I love those pants, but not $138 worth ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Wendy
I caved...fast, aren't I? :)
ReplyDeleteWent ahead and ordered sale items: Summerweight chino short in plum and Boardwalk-stripe zipper tee.
Non-sale items to try on (and possibly keep!):
Tippi sweater in heather dark grape and funnelneck pullover in heather grey.
Ordered all tops in XXS and just keeping my fingers crossed that everything fits!
uh oh...I ordered some of those bangles for Christmas gifts...now I'm worried. I have a medium wrist/hand and have found some bracelets really small, but a 2.5" bracelet fits me. Yikes, I hope they work!
ReplyDeleteJust checked the sale section and found nothing of interest, thank goodness! I am DONE except for holiday gifts and my ongoing search for the perfect white button-down. I ordered the Perfect French Cuff shirt on promo last week and it just didn't work. Thinner fabric than I wanted and the strangest teeny little lapels...back it goes. Will try Emersonmade next.
ReplyDeleteI think I've done enough damage during the 25% off promo, so I think I am done for now.
ReplyDeleteI bit, no major damage. I needed flats, and the satin flats looked so dainty. I'm a size 11 and it's SO hard to find my size in store (jcrew or anywhere). i also picked up the quorra sandals for next summer.
ReplyDeleteI was waiting for the outerwear promo like so many others, but I had a sudden realization that my old black jcrew metro coat from 4 years ago was sitting in my parents house, in perfect condition. I think I'll update the buttons and not buy the academy or majesty coats I've been eyeing (OK, drooling over)
I'm considering the heart me sweater in the black/camel and the winter floral cardigan. Anyone order one of those yet? I just received a big shipment and was really disappointed. I ordered the cambridge cable v-neck in heather chartreuse and the color was washed out and the sweater was very itchy - nothing like the regular merino wool. I got the leopard glittens and the matching hat - wasn't crazy about the blend, the mitten were much cuter than the hat imo, but I'm not sure I'll keep them. I did love the leather gloves I ordered in celestial blue, I think they will add a great dose of color to my black winter outfits - plus I recently got a cobalt blue purse. Another sort of blah on me was the lady lace popover in grey. Pretty sweater, but it just didn't seem to "do" anything for me. Maybe since I'm a little large than many of the online models? Since I'm a medium working on baby weight.
ReplyDeleteForgot to add that I already orderd the red glitter mona heels and the red glitterati flats -- could not resist the inner dorothy in me. And the wynter sweater in the cream and black sequin strip -- fingers crossed the material blend is nice and it looks cute on!
ReplyDelete@leemiller: please let us know how the glitterati flats work out. i think they're adorable!
ReplyDeleteSitting this one out, waiting for 2nd "STAYWARM" box to arrive today.
ReplyDeleteHubby tried on a coat this past weekend and it looks great on him. Now I'm waiting for a promo to include that coat!
My store is doing the 30%, but as final sale.
ReplyDeleteSub
ReplyDeleteI don't know ... stilllllllll eyeing the lady lace popover in the champagne colorway but trying to sit it out until it comes down just a bit more.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have the Airy Wool Scarf in that pretty plum/green/yellow print? Wondering how it looks in person.
We were down in Nags Head, NC this weekend so of course I had to pop into the Crewlet ... it was mobbed, and lots on sale / promo. I ended up only getting a pair of glittens, a pair of earrings to wear for xmas parties and a tee for my son, the one with Santa on the motorcycle.
I just wasn't feeling anything at all. I felt like Nina on Project Runway when she says, "We've seen this before." Nothing stood out to me.
I hope I'm not coming down with something, lol.
OT: my flannel-lined Waverly chinos will be waiting on me when I get home today...so excited to see them! I will post a review as soon as I can.
ReplyDeleteOT, but I wanted to know if I would have any luck returning an item after the 30 day period? I've been deliberating between two sizes in the Scoopneck/Talia/Talitha blouse( you know the shirt with the identity crisis) and I've decided it just doesn't work for me. Can I get at least a store credit or should I just go ahead and post on Ebay?
ReplyDeleteAppGal -- my flannel Waverlys should be here tomorrow, very excited to hear what you think!
ReplyDeleteAppgal, I too am excited to hear your opinion on flannel lined Waverlys, I am waiting for mine as well.
ReplyDeletePam, it's worth a try to return. The employees in the stores have a way to override final sales for returns. They've done it for me. I just try not to do it very often, and they know me since I am in there pretty often. Good luck! PS This is also one advantage to having an online personal shopper. They can add a note to your order that it is ok for return.
ReplyDeleteI saw nothing in the SALE section (thank goodness). I am just starting to receive my 25% promotion items.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I really think the Red Glitter Mona pump is killer for the holidays. Has anyone actually received them and if so, is there a way to prevent the glitter from dropping off? I purchased from a few seasons back, the gold glitter ballet. I love them for the holidays but nothing is worse than leaving a trail of glitter behind...
Thanks.
I purchased the Paisley Blouson dress which doesn't seem to show up online for $65 with NYC tax after the 30% discount!
ReplyDeleteShariyu,
ReplyDeleteI have the lulu ballet flats in the glitter and have come to terms with the fairy dust that flies behind me - I almost think it is romantic now!
The enamel bangles work for my wrists....I've got 4 of them so I guess I managed to get them on. :-)
ReplyDeleteAlright y'all...the Wavery flannel-lined chino review is up here. I'm on the fence about them, so help me decide!
ReplyDeleteWell dag, yo...the reason I was on the fence about them was because I was SENT THE WRONG SIZE. Good gracious...well go see the review anyway :) I will make a better review when the right size comes in!
ReplyDeleteOT, I received my 25% off order. I still love the flare jeans and the black fit in the same size as the jezebel. Of course, even though I ordered the short, I still have to get them hemmed. :) Also received the ribbed tights in heather acorn and I like them, but they are slightly darker than pictured online. And finally, I got the #2 pencil in neon azalea and it is quite bright. I would say it's the color of a florescent pink marker (the actual marker, not the neon highlight). Hope that makes sense. I do love it, but it is much brighter than it looks on my screen. It also fits the same as my past year's #2 skirts.
ReplyDeleteAs for sale, I can't order. If my b&m still has the purple jenna cardi this Saturday (maybe I should call my PS and have him hold one?), I'll probably pick it up. Wish my store had it in ivory.
I stopped by today and did not see much of interest. Almost bought a sparkly gold belt, but got nervous it would shed glitter!
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know what sizing is like for the metallic foil jacquard top? I have the silk polka dot navy top in a size 6.
I had a sale item in my cart last night and then today they went back to full price. So, screw this sale! How can they do that? It just seems kind of sneaky.
ReplyDeleteWendy, Blackwatch capris not on sale yet. Markdowns on Tuesday night so hoping for this week. I'm waiting as well. Have you tried the factory blackwatch pants? I highly recommend. They are lovely. Worn mine twice already and I am not really a pants girl.
ReplyDelete@ Caroline
ReplyDeleteThe Metallic Foil Jacquard top fits very similarly to the polka dot top. I found my usual size fit well if a little blousey in both and that if I sized down they were too tight in the hips and back
I reviewed it on my blog here
BonnieMc,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the update on the pants :) I haven't ordered the Factory blackwatch, although I love the look...I am just under 6' tall, so the 32.5" inseam has me worried. I chatted with CS online today, and they said most pairs should have around 1.5" under the hem that could be let out. I am debating... Will post on here if I find out the cafe capris have dropped in price.
Wendy, My pants have exactly 1.5 inch hem so the most they could be taken out is probably 1 inch. Hope that helps.
ReplyDeleteI bit ... Was waiting for quite a few sale items. Ended up with always wrap cardigan in all three colors. Also picked up the Hayward trousers Pinstripe Italian wool in grey. That's all for now. I have ordered so much in the last few weeks lol I am shocked at the amount of promos I crew has had.
ReplyDeleteGot the silk Lucinda blouse for $24 and a patterned dress for $27...deals are much better in stores!
ReplyDeleteI got my 25% off promo items today as well. I am in the "love" camp for the thermals, I sized up to a medium and they are thick and very comfy. The sterling skirt was also lovely, I sized up from a 4 to a 6 like I have done this season with the flair skirt and the gimlet skirt. I also really liked the clea dress, my regular sized 4 fit very nicely. The dress has a chic '40s feel. The big disappointment was the sequin stripe sweater, the sizing seemed completely off. I ordered my usual small, and it was tiny! I feel like I would need a large to get the relaxed, over a button down look they show on the model.
ReplyDeleteTrying hard to be good now and not order the many other items I am loving right now. I have done enough damage!
I saw the cafe capri in houndstooth in 00, 0 and 8. Email me if you want the store info.
ReplyDeletegigiofca@gmail
Can someone confirm it is FINAL SALE with the extra 30% off in stores? I was hoping to grab some gifts but not buying any if it is final sale.
ReplyDeleteshopalot - it's final sale in-stores
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if there will be new markdowns happening tonight? I'm deciding whether or not to stop by my store this afternoon or tomorrow afternoon. Thanks in advance! I appreciate it! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gigi.
ReplyDeleteBig BOO to final sale.

ReplyDeleteSnagged some cashmere this morning with the update. Purchased the vibrant flame isabel and the plum crewneck long sleeved sweaters. Also, re-purchased the buckle heels in toasted honey for about 20 bucks cheaper than I originally paid. I am so sick of re-purchasing items, my bf thinks I keep all of these things even though I don't :(
ReplyDeleteWent to the Rock Center store this morning. The flair skirt in heather acorn is $69.99 before discount as it is the printed roses one. The calf hair leopard belt in grey is $39.99 and the small enamail bangles with small wrist syndrome are $12.99. 30% off makes it final sale thought.
ReplyDeleteI returned a Teddie dress in the saddle in a size 0, they might still have it if anyone is interested. HTH!
I forgot to mention that the Paisley blouson dress is still $89.99.
ReplyDeleteJ. Crew in Cambridge, MA has some solid stuff. Jenna Cardigan for 39.99 + 30% off. Student discounts can be tacked on too - final price was 23. Got the one in vibrant flame.
ReplyDeleteMinnetonka fringe booties was 49.99 + 30% off.
Lots of cardigans, skirts, and flats as far as I can tell.
Good luck!
