Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the FALL sale, or to see some new FALL/WINTER arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

    Gigi! I happened to check the site shortly after midnight my time (East) and discovered the 25% and quickly ordered the coat I've been wanting And I knew that ebates was 8%! Finally! Probably this sale is lasting just until the roll out later this week, so waiting to see what's new too, as well as for some items preordered.

    hahaha, the word verification is wakeme! As in "is this sale real? or I should go back to bed?

    Has anyone tried on the Talisman jacket in double serge wool? It says a "seriously sleek silhouette". Is that code for size up?

    Got the Blouson dress in royal paisley. Ah-mazing print and fits exactly like the Striped blouson, if anyone was wondering. Going to wear it now with tights, boots, bright cobalt skinny leather belt and leather trench. Yay!

    I'm torn ... I was so looking forward to snapping up those leopard accessories when then went on promo. But I visited the store this weekend and now I'm not sure I want them. I love the glittens, but the hat is REALLY small, and I don't even think I have a big head! All the hats in the store haid their ribbing stretched out from people trying them on.

    The length of the scarf surprised me (in a good way) but the print is only on one side. What's up with that?

    On top of everything, I have two stadium cloth peacoats, and neither colorway goes with both coats! Arrgghh!

    The lady lace popover is inching down in price, but to me $90 is still too much.

    Booooo. I might have to sit this one out.

    ok. so i know this is a vent and not quite the place for this, but sometimes jcrew CS just totally pisses me off. i ordered the MacAlister wedges last thursday since i really wanted them and doubted that any shoe promos would be offered. so i wake up this morning to the 25% off and call CS for a price adjustment and i get attitude from her. the shoes haven't even left the warehouse yet! and i can reorder the shoes right now and return the first pair since they are in stock, but it's just a wait of everyone's time if i have to do that. i just bought so many clothes this past summer/fall seasons and they're going to give me attitude over one price adjustment. grrrr.... i hate mondays.

    Ya know, I tried on the striped waffle shirt. I know everyone loves it, but I felt like it was too short. I'd have loved it if it were longer. But I'm prone to tossing everything in the dryer and could see this shrinking up to nothing.
