"Thanks!" to many of you, including Anon at 7:06 AM and caliglam (in this post), for letting us know that J.Crew has updated their website. Among the new arrivals, they have posted the latest December catalog (click here to view).
J.Crew has also provided useful "shipping deadlines" to let customers know when to place orders by to receive packages by a certain date.
Happy {holiday} shopping! :)
I'd just like to say that i love the new arrivals. this is the first winter i have really loved their stuff. i have enough of their summer clothes to last a lifetime, but don't usually purchase during the winter because i don't like it as much. this year is different!
ReplyDeleteCute, cute stuff ~ love the polka dots cami, and the ava dress. Perfect for cali.
ReplyDeleteWhat time J.Crew web site sale section is updated?
ReplyDeleteThey also updated their prices! The Jamie bag in sienna and black is now $395, instead of $300.
ReplyDeleteJamie bag - no wonder the black and sienna were missing from the website yesterday. Hoarding?
ReplyDeleteI love the new peacock print pencil skirt!
ReplyDeleteI love the peacock skirt as well. Really sneeky about the bags
ReplyDeleteit's just like the pearl necklace that used to be 450 and is now 495. i don't think it's a good idea to raise the price on an item. if they want to introduce an new item that is similar and then raise the price is one thing, but to actually raise the price on the SAME item is ridiculous
ReplyDeleteI find it funny that they are posting shipping dates for Christmas. I haven't recieved my order that I placed 11/25 and JCrew isn't even acknowledging my e-mails (I have send 5). These are all for my greedy self, no presents. But anyone buying Christmas presents might want to order today, with any luck you may get them before 12/25
ReplyDelete^ agreed. no way in hell i am buying anyone a gift from here let alone placing anymore orders online. stores--no problem. think you are nuts to buy online at this point.
ReplyDeleteI also noticed the shipping deadlines this morning...I really hope they'll be able to deliver as promised. I know there are many horror stories posted already, so it will be interesting to see how everything goes, especially after this latest Extra30.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't place an online order now for anything...crazy to do so...
ReplyDeleteI looked at the new arrivals. Some of the stuff is cute. The toothpick jeans are scary. What is the difference between these and matchstick jeans?
ReplyDeletei think jcrew matchstick jeans were never truly
ReplyDelete"skinny" jeans. at the ankle they had a little room. i think these toothpick jeans are a true skinny jean... no room in the ankle or lower calf area at all.
He, He--I am not fond of anything new-THANK GOD! Those polka dot camis are cute but the fabric looks very thin and cheap-maybe it's better IRL than the close up.
ReplyDeleteAnyone else think the metallic/jacquard jackets look so stiff and unshapely? They are really into this right now. I would love to know what people that have tried them think.
Anyone have the Alpaca Kennedi Jacket-would love a review of this one! Looks so cute but the shorter sleeves are tough in Fall/Winter yet with that fabric-can you wear it any other time of year? Anyone have this that would review?
toothpick jeans are like leggings, matchsticks are slim fit jeans
ReplyDeletehemp pencil skirt, anybody?
ReplyDeletethis kind of made me laugh.
PS: I JUST received my 30% off package that I ordered Sunday night. I'm about to open it and I hope everything's inside! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's too early to even think about sundresses, but I love the ones they have up on the website already. :) Very cute! And they brought back the Sanur dress, too.
ReplyDeleteI love the new cotton henley sweater the description says it is made of 14 gauge cotton, and is year round, it still looks thin. I wait until the January to order.
ReplyDeleteMy Dec 1 order shipped out last night with a valid tracking #, my heart skipped a couple of beats when the rep told me there was no tracking # (Not 3 in a row), then he found it, I just hope it is the right item.
I got my package and received everything. I luckily have never had a problem with J.Crew shipping during this whole fiasco. And I feel blessed :)
ReplyDeletebug pin -- I saw the Alpaca Kennedi sweater jacket in the store yesterday. It was ridiculously soft and pretty, and I got all excited about it until I picked it up and saw it had short sleeves. A thick short-sleeved sweater jacket? When on earth can you actually wear it? Sad. :(
ReplyDeleteI just received the last of my TURKEY orders today. In the past week, three out of four orders have been screwed up (one they canceled for no reason, another they replaced the jeans I ordered with someone else's t-shirt, and today they omitted the Carrie dress completely). I'd like to say they've rectified every instance, but today all i got was an additional (lousy, i might add) 10% off. 10% off a $34 item - brought it down to a nifty $31. yeah, that really made me feel better.
ReplyDeleteratsonparade: Love your name, which t-shirt was it? I am missing one.
ReplyDeleteI saw that the new catalog was up and noticed that Vanessa is still looking really thin. Also what is up w/ that angry little girl on p 16?
ReplyDeleteI just received my 2 parcels from last week, everything was there including the invoices.
ReplyDeleteI'm liking the Nicky skirt, the Ava dress, and the Henna tee...but I have to say, not loving the colors they picked. I hate that my only color options for the skirt are a bright yellow, bright pink, or black. Same thing for the dress...bright pink and black. I love that j.crew mixes colors up and uses a lot of brights, but some people don't look good in those colors...I wish they'd give more options for those pieces.
ReplyDeleteWhere is this peacock print skirt? I can't find it...
How do the pencil skirts fit with the higher waist? Are people ordering a size larger than normal? thanks for any help:)
ReplyDeletei always have to size down with pencil skirts.
ReplyDeletehigher waist- size down. the waste is as big as it should be sitting at normal waist, and your high waist should be smaller than normal waist
I actually order one size up on the pencil skirts, because I like them on the lower waist.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone notice the peacock maggie jacket on the website? It's not in the paper catalog.
The sienna and black Jamie bags weren't technically on sale as it didn't end in 99 cents. I think they are considered promotional prices, so the price can rise up again. I am guessing that J crew was seeing a strong demand for them, and figured that people maybe willing to pay a higher price. I think they sold about 100 of the black Jamie in about 1 week.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that I didn't wait and am anxiously awaiting mine.
