anon - it looks a lot like the merino lili cardigan in desert brown, but it's interesting that the "petals" are navy. i would guess either a: it was made specifically for her, or b: there will be an updated version released in the spring. i'm leaning towards b, only because the chiffon detail seems different on this cardigan compared to the lili that i have.

ReplyDeleteOT. I went to the New Haven, CT store Sunday afternoon. There is TONS of sale stuff on their shelves. I didn't have the diligence to go through the WOMEN'S clearance items: 8 full wall shelves, 2 tables, 3 full wall shelves of suiting, random racks, and lounge wear mixed in with the regular stuff. A call to the store for sizes and items, might be helpful for anyone looking for sale items.

Hi there. Not sure if this is the best place to ask a general question, but here goes...
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have the Florentine Silk Sun Dress? Can you advise how it fits on top? I love the look of it, but am worried that the bodice will not fit. I am usually a size 4 - SMALL (5' 8" tall), but have an ample chest. My concern is that the smocking would only make it half way down (seems many J Crew items don't accommodate C-D cups).

Lady Cake, I have the florentine dress and would recommend sizing up if you are busty because the smocked bodice is very fitted and would not accomate a larger chest well. I am an a cup and it fits me just right. Hope this helps!

I am a 34B, usually a size XS. However, the dress in XS is a little tight in the bust but there is ample room in the waist area. I look pregnant when I am in it.
I hope you did not already get the dress because I do feel it is not a flattering fit unless for the very skinny.
