"Thanks!" to Raj who was kind enough to share in the "J.Crew Stores: Additional 40% Percent Off Sale"post the response received from J.Crew about orders to Canada:
"This is Deronda from J. Crew. We wanted to let you know that international shipping is unavailable right now. We?re upgrading our systems and will be able to ship internationally again very soon. We apologize for the inconvenience and will ship your order as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience."
I am not sure how long this "inconvenience" will last. Hopefully international orders will be shipped soon. :)

ReplyDeleteI hope so too! :) (But first I want a refund for my cancelled order that they charged me for!)
WOW!!! They must REALLY, REALLY, REALLY be having serious issues...why else would they stop international shipping? That's unbelieveable...I can't understand why they are having so many shipping issues...apparently the warehouse needs to hire some more help.
ReplyDeleteRaj: I hope JCrew makes it up to you with a big gift card and lots of free shipping on future purchases. I really do hope you get your items.
ReplyDeleteFabulousFloridaMommy: I know- there has to be something seriously wrong for them to temporarily halt international shipping.
I almost feel at this point like I need to go help them...I really think I could do a better job than what they are doing...Mickey needs to call me...I have alot of suggestions and advice to give. ;)
ReplyDeleteAh the irony, even if there was something I wanted from the website, I can't have it.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a friend or relative in the states. I have them order it and send it to me. It would still be far faster than this.
Man it better get fixed soon.
FabulousFloridaMommy: You made me laugh with the "I need to go help them" comment. I just picture you loading boxes to UPS trucks (like you mentioned awhile back when your item was ready to ship but not on a truck yet.) Mickey should totally call you too!
ReplyDeleteHey I'm all for fabulousfloridamommy helping out. I bet she could fix this.
ReplyDeleteAlexis and jcrew guy in Canada: Ironically, not only did I work as a Clerk at UPS, BUT I also worked in the International Division where I shipped many, many packages overseas. I know how to key information into the computer in order to ship the package, AND to top it all off...I also know how to load a truck! :) I guess that is why I am in shock at the shipping problems J.Crew is having...it's really not that difficult! I also have a TON of ideas and suggestions for all the other areas they are having problems in, too, and btw...I am TOTALLY serious about Mickey calling me...I really wish he would, as I have SO much to say to him. GRIN
ReplyDeleteJCrew Guy In Canada: I agree with you- FabulousFloridaMommy could totally fix this shipping issue. :)
ReplyDeleteFabulousFloridaMommy: I am serious too- I totally think you could fix this. I am also serious that Mickey should call you- you are so good at specifying what the issues are and how to resolve them. You would be an asset to their marketing team. :)
Alexis and jcrew guy in canada: Thanks for the compliments! :)
ReplyDeleteI bet FFM could do a great job! Any woman who is successfully raising 4 boys is a superhero, period!
ReplyDeleteThanks Blumre! :)
ReplyDeleteHello, new here but had to post on this one! I placed three orders at the time of the freeship code from Canada, when I called to check on the status of my orders, the first CS told me that they were on their way. Next time I called, another CS apologized and said that my orders were at the warehouse and some were now out of stock, she then said that they were shipping them the next day and gave me free expedited shipping! Another week later I called again and CS still couldn't find my orders but said that they would again ship the following morning. Finally two nights ago I received a call from JCrew stating all international shipping will be delayed for short time. I'm disappointed in that I've had such great service from them, this past month has been the worst I've encountered with an online company and I doubt any of my items will be in stock by the time they finally get their act together. I really hope that they are up and running again soon, for such a big company I'm surprised at all the issues I've heard about!!!!
ReplyDeleteupnorth, what are are describing in detail is what happened to me but here in the US. I had the same problems with orders...by the time I got them...just this week and end of last week...most everything was gone except for two things....so if it makes you feel any better I don't think it mattered where you live except I got two things and you are still waiting. I am really surprised at JCrew and am not too thrilled with them right now either. I am also surprised at how willing some people are to "forgive" them and order new stuff all the time. Forgiving is good but they still don't have their act together!
ReplyDeleteI meant to type-- What YOU are describing....
ReplyDeleteAll international shoppers:
ReplyDeleteThank you Alexis to pick up international topic! I truly understand everyone's feeling. Since US customer service were not very available, so I sent email to J.Crew Japanese customer service. Usually, they are really responsive, but Japan CS said that it took them for 10 days to access US J.Crew system to confirm my order! I decided not to order J.Crew for a while... It is better for me to wait than to be frustrated by issues of shipping and charging.
Thanks for your comments, Anonymous, sorry to hear that you've had to deal with this as well. I agree with you, I don't plan on ordering until I know that they are back up and running 100%, think of the money I'll save!
