Weekly Share: Other JCrew-like Retailers

This is the weekly "Other JCrew-like Retailers" post (similar to the "Off On A Tangent" posts), where we can share our finds from other retailers that have offerings similar to J.Crew (like LE Canvas, Gap, BR, Talbots, Ann Taylor, and the like.)

If you have recently encountered items that are similar to J.Crew, maybe you might be willing to share that information with us in this post.

Please feel free to share your story on almost any topic— including experiences with certain merchandise pieces, promotions/ offers, in-store visits, transactions with store associates, etc.

    If you like the look of the JC shoe options this fall, but not the price, I'd recommend taking a look at Target. They've got nude pumps, "suede" wedges, cheetah heels and flats - all for about $25-$30 (and are currently doing 20% off $75 and free shipping on $50+). Yeah, they're not leather soles, but neither are JC's. I got a pair of their grey "Myka" wedges last year and they have worn very well - plus, they're padded on the inside! For $25 or so it's a decent price for me to try out a trend. Returns can be made to a Target store, which is very easy.

    Pearce pumps in camel patent (looks like these are sold out online but can be found in store. There are many different colors of the Pearce pumps - I ordered "Beach Patent".

    Thanks for the Target shoe info! I bought a pair of "Ugg like" boots from them many years ago and they have worn amazingly well. You can get nice footwear there!

    I know this is a little OT but could ANYONE please tell me how to insert a hyperlink in the comments section? Rose and FFM - I see that you did it so that you can just press on HERE and it goes to your blog but I cannot for the life of me figure it out.
