ReplyDeleteLOL, Raina, I thought the same. My formerly skinny self still hasn't come to terms with the middle-aged middle I now have. Seriously, after years of hearing the Tracy in What Not To Wear tell women to wear bootcuts & not ankle-tapered jeans, I wince at the thought of seeing the ubiquitous leggings/jeggings this fall.
ReplyDeleteI do confess to buying Madewell's denim legging jeans and while I thought they were comfy & fit well (or maybe their dressing rooms have skinny mirrors), I felt slightly scandalous at the thought of me going about my daily business in this snug little number. Will be returning them; best left to lithe-legged 30-somethings or younger.
