Take an Extra 30% Off Final Sale This Week

A big "thanks!" to many of you, including JCJewels, Jaden, & Marietta, as well as Heidi (in this post), opheliasmom (in this post), & Green_Dino (in this post), who let us know about another offer from J.Crew.

J.Crew is offering customers 30% off any purchase from Final Sale {no minimum} and free shipping (over $150 *after* discounts applied) with promo code EXTRA30. This offer is good through this Friday, 3/12/10.

I am thrilled to see this promotion return. I will definitely be checking out the final sale section. :)

Will you be taking advantage of this promotion? Are there any sale items you are interested in getting?

  1. WAAY OFF TOPIC - is polyvore having a problem or is it on my end? I keep getting error messages.

  2. I am thisclose to purchasing the Seraphina dress in light blade for an upcoming wedding, but wanted to ask if anyone has tried it on or can tell me about the fit. Also, it's listed in the final sale section, but when I did a practice checkout, there was no message about "final sale." Should I take the plunge?

    ReplyDelete
  3. lareve: In my experience, if it doesn't say "final sale" at checkout, then it won't say it on the packing slip, meaning you can exchange it. It's a slight risk, but I think you will be fine.

  4. gah. i bit and bought the long belted puffer. will the medium be too big? will it even ship? the horrors of j.crew sale roulette!

    ReplyDelete
  5. They took the burnt sienna campo off final sale... ARRRRGH!!!

    ReplyDelete
  6. I was really surprised by this one...didn't think they would offer another % off promotion so soon, but I think it's great they are AND that it comes with the potential for free shipping, too. :)

    ReplyDelete
  7. Anyone seen the Ryder hobo in shadow IRL? Really leaning toward getting it with 30% off.

jennifer - PV is just way wacky like that sometimes.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Not getting any photos when I click on the sale section....anyone else having this problem? It was fine last night around midnight when I looked but now--nada.

    ReplyDelete
  9. i ordered a couple things.

i had my eye on the ames watercolor dress yesterday but held off. with this extra 30% off i was able to get it for $55 bucks.

boxers for the boyfriend, sullivan skirt for me.

i also ordered the sunshine peony dress as a ride along. i love the pattern, but i think it will really wash me out since i have such fair coloring.

  10. I'm so annoyed that they did this today because I just purchased the Wisteria mohair jacket when it popped back on the website yesterday. The extra 30% off would have saved $120.

  11. great promo, but nothing i need : ) and the items I bought last week are sold out. phew!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Great promo but going to be strong and pass like jcbellemarie.... nothing I have to have....plus, even though I know the items by heart I cannot see any pics so that just makes me less likely to buy.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Sayanytng1,

I'd call CS, and if you don't get the first person to PA, keep trying. Since it's only been a day, someone may be kind enough to give you a PA. My fingers are crossed for you!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Oops, I accidentally placed an order... I got the tall eden blazer, tall downtown trouser cords, joley heels in gold, and the perfect pencil skirt in plum (which probably won't ship and is the entire reason I placed the order)

They all said final sale except the skirt. Oh well... look for the jacket and cords potentially on the weekly exchange!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Had to do a reorder of a few things. Plus, I added the Adagir top. It looks so simple and fresh, and the name really got me. Isn't that the name of Hank Azaria's character in the Birdcage? I cry tears of joy just thinking about him trying to walk in shoes in that movie! (Boy, it doesn't take much to please me, does it?) I haven't noticed any mentions of it, and it did go to sale really quick, so I'm kind of skeptical, but the styling in the product shirt is mega blah so that may be the culprit. Luckily it's not final sale, so if I'm not as entertained by the shirt as I was by Hank, it can go back.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I took advantage and purchased:

    Bling-button cardigan in soft violet
    Boyfriend beach cardigan
    Sequin tuxedo cardigan
    Iris embroidery tank in natural

    ReplyDelete
  17. Rynetta,
I called and they applied the discount to my order. I didn't even have to plead my case at all. They said that it was a one time courtesy but I am thrilled. Yay!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Now if they would have had this promo yesterday, I would have spent a *bunch* of money since there was a great restock, but today, eh, nothing that I have to have. Here's to hoping there's a good restock in the next couple of days!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Em, the gold Joleys are really lovely, and pretty comfy. I was surprised that they have a satiny fabric under the toe portion that's browner than the nude/gold of the patent. It doesn't seem to mention that in the product description. It doesn't take away from the look of the shoe at all, but I was concerned about roughing it up/cleaning due to my stumblebum nature, and ended up returning them. Just a heads up!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Oops.... also purchased the Cashmere argyle cardigan in dusk beechwood orange. I love argyle!

    ReplyDelete
  21. that satin thing is strange on the joleys! its a strange spot for something hard to clean!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. CheesyGoodness... that's weird! I have the straight metallic ones in silver, and they didn't have that... hm. Well thanks for the heads up! I will have to be careful where I wear them!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Given the impending furloughs at my office, I must pass, and there's nothing on FS I'm dying for.

I'm idly interested in the Porta driving mocs in salmon but size on JC driving mocs is such a crapshoot. Any comments on how those fit.

    ReplyDelete
  24. JCrewCC:

I was able to locate some items that still exist but not part of Final Sale by using the search tool on the website. Didn't order because my size was not available, but interesting to note you can still find them.

    ReplyDelete
  25. My rewards card was burning a hole in my wallet, but I had a hunch that they'd have a % off final sale this week. I'm glad I held off. I got the Tissue rosette bouquet tee (23743) that I've been dying for-- only $21. I threw in the Merino turtleneck sweater in light berry (18607) just for kicks, as it was only $28. I love discounts!!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Anyone know how the watercolor Ames dress runs? By the time I got to the sale, the 4s were all gone so I took a 6.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Yay! I ordered the Watercolor potpourri Ames dress, Crystal symphony bracelet, Dolce shawl-collar popover, and Boyfriend beach cardigan. I hope I love everything! I went to J.Crew this weekend and tried the Ames dress on for sizing reasons (I am ordering a dress from the weddings and parties collection which isn't offered in stores, had to get an idea of what size I am in dresses here.) I just picked it up, it was the first dress I saw. I kind of ran into the fitting room with it, I thought it was ugly, didn't want anybody to see me with it. Then I put it on, WOW!!! Fell in love! It took all of my courage to leave without it. Now it will be mine!

Also as I was leaving J.Crew... very slowly... I noticed they had my weddings and parties dress in (the Juliet.) Somebody must have returned them! It was the wrong color, but they had it in a bunch of different sizes. Lucky Sunday for me =) Unlucky Tuesday for my credit card =(

    ReplyDelete
  28. Cheesy- You crack me up. I loved Hank Azaria in that film. How on earth do you remember his name?

Hexicon- I almost placed an order and your comment supported my ban. So....hard.....to....not.....push...the...button...

Congrats to everyone finding something! What a great promo for the right buyers.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Lawyerette:

I am pretty new to J. Crew. I have tried on 2 J. Crew dresses (the Ames and the Juliet) and they both fit me in a 6. So I guess it's true to size??? Also when I checked out online with the Ames dress, and in my conf email it didn't list it as "Final Sale" so maybe you can exchange?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Crew Cricket, there was that sequence when they tell try to straightwash everything for the girl's parents, and call Agadir, Spartacus, because that sounds more... manly?... I guess? But someone calls him by his real name and they have to backtrack and Robin Williams calls him Agadir-Spartacus a couple times. So hilarious! Everyone in it was at the top of their game. Hope it's a good enough reason to buy a shirt!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I second Crew Cricket: CheesyGoodness you are always making me crack up! Hank Azaria, OMG!

This is a great promo, I'm heading off to check out what's left!
Has anyone tried on the McCoy Blazer? More of a new arrival, it is a Collection item, black only. I am wondering if it runs huge. TIA if anyone has seen it IRL!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Hello all! I'm pretty new to J.Crew, but I'm contemplating the lady day coat, especially now that its about $100! I have a short torso, and I'm curious how this coat runs--do any of you have it? I cant decide between the petite 4 or regular 2. Sleeves tend to be long on me and I have a small frame, but this final sale business is freaking me out :)

    Thanks in advance!! Emily

    ReplyDelete
  33. CheesyGoodness you are hilarious. The Bird Cage is one of my aunt's favorite movies. She even named her cat Agador.

I can't find a top named Adagir or Agador for that matter. I'm so curious, what is the actual top you purchased?

Nothing for me right now, I thought about the contrast cotton skirt but it seems like it's been getting bad reviews so I think I'll hold on to my $$ for today anyway. Happy shopping to everyone else, hope you all get some great deals.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I picked up the crystal symphony bracelet for $28, the black blossoms blazer for $35, and the cashmere tie-front cardigan for $98. Everything 50% off or more! Score!

I have been lazy about posting reviews lately and will put up some reviews of some things I got recently a little later today.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Emily, the Lady Day coat runs a little on the narrow side in the shoulders. It is quite fitted up top so if you want to layer a lot you may want to go with your roomier size. The sleeves are finished with a horizontal seam and buttons like suit-jacket cuffs so tailoring them could be expensive - remove at the shoulder, shorten and reattach rather than just fold up the cuff, which is cheaper. A petite size may be your best bet.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Ugh! I woke up this morning and the stuff I'd been stalking for a week were gone from my cart. :(

    Hoping for a pop-back...

Emily - The Lady Day has a pretty tailored and flattering fit, if you're small/shorter and often have trouble with the sleeves being too long, I'd go with the Petite. I would suggest your true size or even one size larger, as my Lady Day in my regular J. Crew coat size is tight at the bust and I can't layer thick sweaters underneath.

    ReplyDelete
  37. PS Emily, you can always try calling customer service to ask for measurements.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Great, thank you xoxo and Audrey! I contacted customer service and I think I'll be going with the 4P. :)

    Emily

    ReplyDelete
  39. Does anybody know if the extra 30 is offered in store as well?

    ReplyDelete
  40. Emily... definitely size up. The lady day runs small. Such a gorgeous coat!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I am definitely going to pick up a few items. This is just the type of promo I've been waiting for. Things are pretty picked over but I think it's worth it.

Does anyone have a IRL link or review of the marlene criss-cross platform heels? I've been eying them forever and they're super marked down. TIA!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Yes I'm interested in the Marlenes as well. And, has anyone reviewed the Dani (neon strap or suede) heels? I'm wondering if they are TTS and whether they look exactly like the picture online or have a slight variation.

    ReplyDelete
  43. SO glad I saw this! I can't check my home email, and wasn't planning on hitting jcrew.com today. I had been stalking the Cotton Cady Alexa in black... it wasn't marked "final sale", but the code still worked! I also picked up the cotton crosshatch pencil skirt.... hope it works out since that one WAS final sale!

    ReplyDelete
  44. After claiming there was nothing in the clearance section that interests me, I placed an order this morning. *hangs head*

I ordered the poppy floral jacket for my DD who adores girly things. It's been "hidden" on the website for a while. I ordered it for myself last month, and I really like it for spring, so when her size popped up, I decided it must be fate, lol.

I also ordered a tee and an eden blazer for myself. I didn't plan to buy the eden since I have 2 velvet bellas that are still in frequent rotation. And, seriously, how many velvet blazers does a person need? Really? But the eden is *so cheap* now, and I like the little peplum ruffle that the bella doesn't have.

And I ordered the pink suckered gingham shirt as a ridealong. I already have (and love) both colors of the checked shirt plus 2 colors of the Lands' End Canvas version, so I really have more than enough checked shirts, but this one is PINK. Anyway, it's on back order until May, so there's a good chance I'll come to my senses and cancel it before it ships. Or maybe not.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I'ma do my best to hold out until a % off tees or shoes promo comes up... better yet, % off swim! I indulged in the %20 sweater promo, telling myself that the zebra cardi would sell out soon.. :} but apparently the dress is more popular, so my rationale doesn't quite work, hehe.

    ReplyDelete
  46. xoxo, it's under lounge and beach cover ups, the pima cotton Agadir top, item 24643. And good for you for resisting the promo, I'm with you in spirit!

Last time I was at the B&M, the Coletto necklace was on sale, but it doesn't seem to be on the website. Does anyone know if the 30% is going on in store, too? It wasn't last time this promo rolled around, but I can hope.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Has anyone well-endowed tried the Meron dress? I'm kind of curious. The pic shows a back zip and the description says (dreaded) side zip, so I wonder which type made it into production.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Cheesy Goodness - I tried on the rumpled meron in this post. There are links to 3 other bloggers at the bottom of the post, also w/irl pics.

    ReplyDelete
  49. For those who are interested in Marlene Crisscross platform heels - go half size up. I noticed that platform heels you have to go up half size since it's raised footbed. You would think they'd tell you this but I had to learn it the hard way. :-/

Cheesy: were the crystal colletto (25976)necklaces on sale at B&M? I asked a SA and they said they were not... Were the mixed crystal colletto (26104 ) on sale then? Seriously, sometimes they are too lazy to scan the tag and find out! Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  50. I ordered some more CC for my DD and reordered some stuff... I wish the sale section was not so picked over though...

    Happy shopping!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Trying to stay strong! I don't really need the sweaters in my cart, since I think sweater season is officially over here in the ATX (high of 81 today!).

    ReplyDelete
  52. does jcrew.com ever offer sale items that are NOT final sale? What are the tricks for getting the best deals? Should I try on the item in store to confirm size, then wait for the item to hit Final Sale? Need some $$ saving tips for this JC newbie!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Now is the time of year I ask myself "at $100 per, can you really have too many lady coats?" I already have Navy and Med Blue but I just sprung for Bright Hydrangea. I just can't help it. Wish more Pea Coat colors were still around. Cords for $13.00 aren't bad either. I bought a few colors rather then dig around the closet to double check if I already had similar colors. I do wish there was more cashmere. Maybe they'll add more tomorrow?

  55. gigi, you are the ace! Thanks for the links and pics, you saved me from the sight of myself as a squat, rectangular linebacker! Right on with your note to self: not even on sale.

jcrewphd, my local store had one or two hanging at the register with the rest of the sale baubles. I know it definitely was NOT the clear or the purply one (since those are the ones I want most) maybe greyish or tan? I think the price was $69.99 or $89.99, sorry I can't be more specific. The SA and I made the usual noises about being surprised at how quick some things get moved to sale after being released.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Audrey you will love the Elspeth Oxfords: I bought them last time around with the 30% off and they are beautiful shoes. So well made, I love mine.
This is a great time to buy a Lady Day: I've just been out for a walk with mine on, in the Dusty Blossom, I got THREE compliments!
It will be interesting to see the update in the am! :)

    ReplyDelete
  57. Re. the coletto necklace: I don't know if it's on sale or not (I have asked my B&M and they said that it was not) BUT I know for sure that the stores received the mixed crystal one with the wrong pricing ($118 instead of $98). Not to be mean with the whole SA category but only a JCA can make the difference between the mixed crystal (which has smaller stones and comes in clear and pale buff, which is a champagne color IRL) and the coletto (that comes in pale lilac, clear and petrol). After being told by two different SAs in two different stores that the price of the mixed crystal was the same than the bigger coletto ($118), I took a catalog and showed him the page (38) where the model is wearing both (and the caption shows the two different prices). The SA checked the style number on the necklace that they had in store (with the wrong price) and it was the same. He said that he was going to send an email to corporate to let them know but I doubt that the information will spread across the B&M.
Bottom line: if you are buying the mixed crystal, don't let the SA charge you $118, you should only pay $98.
BTW, the mixed crystal is to die for IRL, much more delicate than the coletto. HTH!

    ReplyDelete
  58. The crystal colletto in black (black metal with clear stones) was on sale at the 17th & 5th NYC B&M for 59.99. HTH someone.

    ReplyDelete
  59. LOL--spot on Ema!

Been there, done that and I agree the mixed is fab:)

    ReplyDelete
  60. I used it to buy the cashmere henley (I wanted this last year and let it go, so I'm getting one this year), the contrast pencil skirt, and another pair of toothpick cords. Thank goodness I'm getting my tax money this week! :) There are some non-sale items I want too, but I'll have to wait for another paycheck for those.

    ReplyDelete
  61. BEWARE the final sale....they used to be super cool about EXCHANGING this stuff, I am allegedly a jcrew vip and spend lots of $$! The sales girls said she would do it as a one time courtesy. If you don't know for sure that you love it, skip it or you may be stuck with it. I had to plead for a few minutes.....

    ReplyDelete
  62. Totally splurged and got the lady day w.thinsulate in dusty blossom, merino knit beret, velvet flower pin, heather carbon schoolboy blazer, heather redwood schoolboy blazer, and velvet eden blazer in darkest ingigo.

I wish more jewelry had been on sale...craving the majesy bracelet in crystal and both colletto necklaces.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Ugh, I'm so disgusted w/ myself. I placed an order for the contrast pencil skirt but wanted free shipping (should've just paid the $10!) so I also ordered a cashmere crewneck cardi in dark poppy (bc shockingly I don't have a red cardi) and two tees that I absolutely do not need. I'm most upset about the last tee bc it was only $13 but until now I did not even want it. Why didn't I just get some FP stuff from my wishlist as ride alongs? Bc I wanted to be as close to $150 after the discount as possible. That is so hard to do! I was $7 over.

    ReplyDelete
  64. is the 30% off in stores, too? (on sale items, of course!)

    ReplyDelete
  65. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  66. I didn't take advantage of this promo. If the restock tomorrow is better, I might. The few things I'm interested in were no where to be found this morning. It looks like they actually pulled some items from the sale section before initiating the promo, which is a bit stinky.

I've been getting so lucky finding things here on the weekly exchange and on ebay, things I've been lusting after forever, so I'm having quite a nice shopping month despite not buying much from the J. Crew website!

    ReplyDelete
  67. must...resist...the urge...i drank way too much crewlade through Dec. & Jan. so now have put myself on a ban. Getting these emails plus checking out other JCA's posts are not helping! urgh!

As I have already overpacked my closet and drawers with a bunch of sweaters, tees and jewelry, i'm only suppose to be shopping for spring/summer... must say no to the cashmere tie front cardi and nouveau gem necklace! ahhhh!

I do thank you ladies for the warning of defective final sale items, which helps temper my overwhelming urge to push the button!!

just a question (OK to consider since it's season-appropriate) how is the fit on the belted cardigan? does it run TTS and how is the colour "shadow"? is it a grey with navy tones or navy with grey tones? happy hunting ladies!

    ReplyDelete
  68. OT, but LE is having a great promo! 25% off highest price item in your order (I've NEVER seen anyone do this, have you?!?) and free shipping on orders over $50 (JC...eat that!) use promo code MARCH11 and PIN 157370787. Promo ends tomorrow.

i may have to pull the trigger on a spring cardi...or a shirt... or both!

    ReplyDelete
  69. OT: Anyone see the pics of Eva Amurri rocking the heck out of the white and hot pink Delphinia gown at the Oscars? I love her with abandon since seeing her in Saved, and was predisposed to loving her anyway as a die hard Rocky Horror fan. Anyway, the Fug Girls gave her a "well played" that was well earned, and I agree that she looks a ton better than the model.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Desert Flower I noticed that too! I had a couple things in my cart and there was plenty of stock in all the sizes. This morning they were totally gone. Not cool J.Crew.

I think I'll hold off for a bit. When is the next rollout anyway, does anyone know?

    ReplyDelete
  71. Baybaybay - my ps told me that the next rollout would be in our stores on the 22nd.

    ReplyDelete
  72. After seeing it on Slastena, I bought the Contrast Pencil Skirt. It was too good a deal to pass up and I added some jewelry as ride alongs.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I would like a featherweight cashmere cardigan in either copper dust or light shale, but those aren't on sale.

As for my rewards card, I ended up using it on a Collection sequined tank in Paris pink. I've got my regional conference and other sorority events coming up, so I can use it.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I purchased the Seraphina dress in light blade, along with a few perfect fit tees and a couple of Jaspe for my boyfriend. The Seraphina was not listed as "final sale" upon my checkout, but I was still awarded the 30% off and free shipping, so I'm very happy. I'll have to wait and see how it fits, of course, but I'm sure it won't be anything a few alterations can't fix.

I'm holding out for some more "Spring-y" promos so I can get the swimsuits I've had my eye on, as well as some shorts and nice tops.

Seems to me like J.Crew is really stepping it up with the promos lately. A return to a regular sale rather than final would be nice - I wonder if they've thought of including separate sale sections as so many other retailers do.

    ReplyDelete
  75. HeidiG: I have the Ryder Satchel in Shadow (not the Hobo) and I absolutely LOVE the color. It is a dark, matte, saturated grayed navy that kind of "blends" w either color. I mostly wear it w jeans and navy, sometimes gray, and get compliments on it all the time. It is more versatile than either navy or dark gray IMO.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Soigne, the featherweight cashmere falls apart really quickly. I have JC regular cashmere and it pills but you can de-pill it and it still lasts a few seasons. The featherweight cashmere gets holes and falls apart very quickly. I won't buy it any more. Just wanted to warn you before you spend $$$ on it.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Ruffles - thank you!! I did go ahead and order the Ryder. Shadow is one of my fave JC colors - and I figure this will be a kind of "jeans" version of a purse.

    Can't wait!!

    ReplyDelete
  78. I've been staring at the Zoey blazer in my cart for a few days now... does anyone know anything about its fit? I take a 12 because I'm busty and am pretty worried I'll order it, won't be able to return it, and won't be able to button it.

I've been waiting for a good promo like this to get a slouchy boyfriend blazer! Thanks in advance...

    ReplyDelete
  79. There were a few restocks this moring and I went for the Mohair Soufle caridgan, the Berry Ink Dress, the Double Serge Pencil Skirt and ruffle tank tops in ivory and lavneder. The dress and skirt were not final sale so I feel OK that I have a safety net if they don't work! I'm a little nervous that the soufle cardigan is a medium (I'm usually a small). Hopefully it runs small, if not, look out for it on the selling post!

    ReplyDelete
  80. I bit...after I was really good and only got a CC shirt for DD. I caved on the cashmere l/s tees. I know the quality is less than desirable for most folks, but at $65 a pop, I can afford two colors I adore, as opposed to paying for one full priced l/s cashmere tee. Also, these weren't marked FS.

I'm wondering if I just don't wear cashmere that often. I don't seem to have the horrible pilling that most JCAs talk about. I probably wear my cotton and wool sweaters a little more often. Frequency of wear may play a part in the JC sweaters too...

A little crummy of JC to pull some items (like the sienna Campo) before the promo. LE even allows you to use the discounts on Tretorn, Alan Edmonds, etc. which is a great deal! :)

    ReplyDelete
  81. While waiting for restocking, my painting T gone! It really turns me off. I am pass this time!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Audball, I've noticed that cashmere tends to pill more if there's a handbag, jacket or jewelry rubbing against it. Shoulder bags and statement necklaces DESTROY my cashmere sweaters.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Audball, I'm with you. My Jcrew cashmere doesn't pile that much and I still think that the colors and some of the styles are pretty unique. But I'm happy that many JCAs apeear to be done with JCrew cashmere so it doesn't fly out of my cart as soon as there is a promo. I never buy cashmere full price but these prices are really tempting. I got a boatneck for $55 in January and a henley and two (more springy) short-sleeved tees with this promo (and thinking about getting another henley before it's too late).

    ReplyDelete
  84. I bought the potpourri dress yesterday:-) Does anyone know if it fits TTS?

    ReplyDelete
  85. After being disgusted w/ myself yesterday for ordering things I didn't need, I placed another order today! Apparently I can't resist 30% off plus free shipping. And this time, I didn't have to search for items to reach $150. I got a few of the Twyla camis that just popped up on promo. I think they will be good staples for my wardrobe.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Was excited to see that the Kelsey tops were on promo this morning - scooped up two in azalea and blackberry, as well as the contrast pencil skirt. Although I got the extra 30% off, there was no final sale message...

Lareve, did you decide to get the Seraphina? It's really lovely!

    ReplyDelete
  87. Hello,
I am new to the blog and had a quick question. I bought a few final sale items and one regular price item last week when they updated the sale section on Thursday. I just recieved the items and not one of the final sale items was marked final sale, and the invoice says nothing about any item being final sale. Is it possible to return these items (the weekend stripe cardi and the petal top) and get a full refund?
    Thanks!

  88. Yes, my question exactly Puglove. Why are some of these items in the Final Sale category, but not stated on the checkout or packing slip/invoice. Will the SA know that they are final sale?

  89. Puglove and Robyn, yse it is possible to return those items and get a full refund if final sale is not marked on the invoice. HTH!

  90. I was at the Columbia, MD store today and there was no 30% off in the store.

  92. Does anyone find that the 2 for $35 deal doesn't work for those perfect fit crew neck tees when using the EXTRA30 coupon code? When I added the code, suddenly they went back to $48. Thanks!

  93. Mangosalsaislove, the perfect fit tees pricing doesn't combine with final sale promotions, but I think it's just a glitch in their system. If you place your order on the phone, or call customer service after you place the order, they should be able to fix it.

  94. anyone else notice it taking a long time for orders to ship? it might just be because I got the dreaded "we wish we had enough" email on one of the items in the order... but it still hasn't shipped! also waiting on a couple of EXTRA30 orders that still just say "released" ... waiting on the dreaded email on those, too! just wondering if it's just me and my orders or if JC shipping dept. is overloaded right now!?

  95. Lindsey - I got the "shipped" e-mail for my orders the day afterwards but no tracking number. It's never happened to me before.

  96. I got the Watercolor Ames dress (even though I ordered before the EXTRA30, which worked out, since size 4 sold out quickly) and the embossed-cotton Aubrey halter dress in bright yellow for 34 bucks! I just LOVE wearing dresses in the summer, and the bright yellow color just makes me happy!

  97. Audrey: OK, that is also very wierd! Never had that happen to me, either! I just emailed CS.... I'll post back here what they come back to me with!

  98. @Cass, thank you for the warning (although those colors are beautiful). My other J. Crew cashmere is regular weight and has held up fairly well.

I don't wear it much because I live in Southern California, it's still pretty warm and I have other cashmere sweaters in my arsenal -- today, I'm wearing an old Nordstrom Studio 121 gold label cardigan.

  99. Hi! I bought the Wool McCoy jacket with this promotion! I'm really happy with it!! I bought a 12 for a slouchy fit -- super soft and light weight.
