New Styles Added to Final Sale

"Thanks!" to many of you, including Jaden, Tiffany Rose, Belle de Jour, Desert Flower, & Marietta, who shared the following email & news from J.Crew this morning.

The Final Sale section (click here) updated this morning with quite a number of additions (from the new arrivals too— that was quick!) as well as additional markdowns. As usual, items sold out quickly after the update. :)

    (Item 23181; was $168.00, now $129.99)
  • Watercolor Potpourri Ames Dress
    (Item 22356; was $148.00, now $79.99)
  • Scalloped Petal Top

Lastly, if anyone has a free shipping code to share with the blog, we JCAs would be very grateful! :)

Will you be checking out the sale section? Did you score some items from the sale section this morning? If so, please share! :)

  1. There are a few things I would like to pick up from the sale additions, but I need a FS code first. Oh free ship code, where for art thou free ship code??

  2. I agree on the free shipping .... then I'll order a couple of things.... even with crappy "final" sale!

  3. Does anyone have a free Land's End shipping code? I always seem to have one but cannot find one/no recent email one....thanks.
The ones I had expired yesterday. I have been stalking an item just like I used to at JCrew in the sale section.

No JCrew final sale for me but hope others find a gem.

  4. There were a lot of sale stuff that had the "soldout" message by the time I checked. However I was able to sag the metallic leather gallery hobo :-)
OT I remember the downtown field jacket being on sale for 60 bucks but yesterday I saw it full priced (with 1 size left). Did anyone else notice the change in price?

  5. Does anyone know how the ruffled rainey blazer fits? Does it run large or small? Thanks!!

  6. Saw some good markdowns this morning. I'm definitely keeping my eye on the black blossom blazer. It normally wouldn't be something I'm interested in, but it is so cute IRL.

For those of you who have been eying the Eden blazers, snag one, esp. at this price! $39.99 is a steal for something so cute.

Agree that there needs to be a free shipping code...even for $150 min.

  7. Disappointed that I fell for full price on a number of items that are discounted already. Such a crapshoot with pricing and sellouts. I have a couple of giftcards but I'll join the chorus calling for a free ship code in order to buy.

  8. Does anyone know if these items are also on sale in store?

  9. While I'm stubbornly waiting for a FS code, 3 popbacks I've been stalking (including the majesty crystal bracelet) just hopped out of my cart. Grrr...

  10. I am also interested in hearing how the rainey blazer fits if anyone has tried it! :)

  11. Genny,

This may work for Land's End free shipping:
    Code MARCH4; PIN 00004211

Can't believe the crystal symphony bracelet is almost 1/2 off and I purchased it full price :( Well worth it though, I love it and wear it a lot :)

  12. JenLynn,

Today I saw on sale in store--black blossoms blazer 49.99, potpourri dress 79.99, louli tank 49.99, contrast stripe pencil skirt (from collection) 79.99, black blossoms skirt and shorts (didn't check price) and a few other things from spring rollout I am forgetting...

Hopefully those who paid FP still have receipts and are in the return time frame.

  16. I'm so mad, I bought the Black Blossom blazer at a b&m last Tuesday, then the final sale with 30% kicked in last week so the price was $55 instead of the b&M sale price of $79. Then I see today the darn thing is $49 now.

  17. how does this Eden blazer fit? should i size up , or stick to reg. size??? thanks:)

    ReplyDelete
  18. Stick to regular size in the Eden Blazer. I own 3 but did not get the super sale price on mine. I LOVE it. I bought the blue the first day it was out in stores and then got the blossom later on sale and then before Christmas I found the purple in store. I got good prices esp. with rewards cards. I just LOVE this blazer. It is great!

  19. Regina,

Thanks for the code. It worked great!

I love free LE shipping no minimum.

  20. I picked up the boyfriend beach cardi, Iris embroidery tank, and the Watercolor potpourri Ames dress - which I just bought last week and is going back at FP!

  21. mrs. anketell: I agree w/Genny. Stick with your regular size. I have two of these jackets (Tawny olive & purple); one is in my reg. size, one is a size down. I can wear the smaller one but it's a tad tight around my shoulders, especially if I'm wearing something slightly bulky underneath. If I'm wearing a thin tee, I'm fine, but to be more comfortable I'd go with your normal size. HTH!

  22. Lesley, If you bought it at the store, it was probably not final sale. You should be able to return it and purchase it at the $49.99 price. The final sale was only online.

  23. Ur welcome Genny! FS rocks!!

  24. also, has anyone tried the Bryant suede platform peep toes? I know they aren't newly on sale but I keep looking at them each time I check the sale site... how is the sizing on these shoes?

    ReplyDelete
  25. ldc, I have the Bryant peep toes and I had to go up 1/2 size. I have a high instep but otherwise normal foot. The strap at the heel was too tight in my normal size, it really dug in. It's elasticized so I was surprised but 1/2 size up was much better.

    HTH

  27. Does anyone have the nonno cardigan? It doesn't seem like it should be dry clean only (acrylic, alpaca, merino), so does anyone have experience washing theirs and does it keep its shape well? Thanks! :)

  29. Yes! The Nonno does keep well in the wash...

Gosh, I LOVE that cardigan. Get it if you haven't!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Scarlet: I just wanted to add about the nonno (and it's been mentioned by other JCAs), if you are sensitive to itchier material, this may not be the best sweater for short sleeves or tanks. I'm usually not sensitive to fabric, but I did find the acrylic/wool combo of the nonno to be a little scratchier than other sweaters. You can't beat the look (and I usually wear the l/s perfect tees under them), but even the collar is a little scratchy! I just remedy it by wearing a scarf if I'm bothered...Just FYI.

Great price, though! It went down a few bucks this time around (maybe $10 or so?).

  31. Thanks, Regina and Audball! I ordered it with the extra30 code and can't wait to for it to arrive. The price is totally lower now even without a code, but they don't have my size anymore so I guess I won't sweat it too much.

  32. I got an extra 20% off one any price item, one-time-use, in my latest catalogue. Email me if you'd like it.

  33. Picked up the Zoey blazer in black and a cashmere turtleneck in Dark Poppy -- neither are new additions to final sale, but I'd added and deleted the Zoey blazer from my cart last week, so it was only a matter of time, I guess!

  34. i want free ship and 20% off for canadian jc addicts i mean aficionadas...

    ReplyDelete
  35. Priya Cherry, thanks for the tip. I took the tag off Tuesday night. Since I didnt pay full price they won't do a price adjustment. So I just got to eat the $30. thanks though.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Lesley, Yeah, they don't do price adjustments on sale items. So, what I do is buy it a lower price and return the new item with the old receipt. I hate having to play these games, but I don't see why they have to make things so difficult.

  37. If anyone sees the Stained Glass onepiece tank in a size 4 pleeeease let me know! Keep looking for it on popbacks but no luck so far. Thanks!

  38. Regarding the ruffled Rainey blazer - I ordered it in my regular size. It fits TTS to very slightly small. If you are in between two sizes, I would recommend ordering the larger size. Beechwood is a beautiful color, much richer than pictured online and in catalog. The fabric is a heavy, lined silk. There is elastic on the tops of the cuffs but they do not fit tight. I am on the fence about keeping the Rainey blazer because the ruffled collar is LARGE and it really does stand up on its own. I can't decide if it will end up looking clownish, although I would wear something very simple with this, like black Minnies and a white v-neck underneath... If you love ruffles, I say go for it.

  39. Thanks so much, hallie829! I just ordered it in the larger of my in-between sizes, in black because I already have a similar jacket in taupe.
