This is an alright promotion. Nothing too exciting. However J.Crew did revamp their website. The mobile version is a bit more streamlined and the old bookmarks seem to not work. Interesting...

Will you be taking advantage of this promotion? If so, please share!

  1. Striped Tippi (not the button-shoulder version) is on sale for 25% this go-round... BUT I just picked one up in the navy / pink colorway NWT on Poshmark for $20 which I paid for entirely in Posh credits. BOOM. MIC DROP.

Hope it works out - haven't tried the new style yet but I did size up. I couldn't say no to my girl Tippi at that price.

    1. Score!! Worth trying at that price, for sure. I can't offer any size comparisons, as I'm fairly new to JC, so I only have the new Tippis from last year and not the older ones. Anyways, great find!!

  2. I called and got a price adjustment on a W.Britt for JCrew ring I ordered 2 days ago, so I'm happy about the additional 30% off.

I also ordered a sweater (the collection chunky turtleneck sweater, in a pale pink) that I had in my bag and wasn't pulling the trigger on. It popped back in a smaller size (reviews are saying size down) and the 30% made the price something I could live with. I've been eyeing that sweater for months!

  3. Do they give price adjustment on sale items?

    1. Yes - they did in the store. I bought something online 2 days ago at 25% and it was 40% in store and marked down lower. They adjusted it for me.

    1. Yes. There is a seven day window when you have your purchased item(s) adjusted. So if you bought something full price, and it went on sale or the price dropped even more, contact CS!

    2. It's so weird, I tried calling them today to ask for a price adjustment for something I bought at full price and they said no, but they will offer it as a "one-time courtesy". I told them I paid full price for it and the price dropped to 25% so I don't know why it's a one-time courtesy. I was tempted to argue but I'm getting the money back so I decided to just drop it.

      Get it together Jcrew!

    3. Was it during he 7 day window? If not they should've not been arguing with you, it's their written policy, so not a courtesy or favor! How frustrating.

    4. I don't even bother talking to them, I usually just email. And that 'one time courtesy' thing they say is silly, they always say it, and I never cared. Don't worry about what they say. Don't feel bad. They have to honor it. Sometimes they even honor passed the 7 day window, 8...9th...

    5. It was within the 7 day window, in fact the item just arrived at my doorstep the day of the 25% off promo... Oh well.

  5. Any thoughts on the Large Peyton? I have been eyeing for months and thinking about getting it…reviews are good, but also say that the leather wears…just looking for an option. Thanks!

    1. I've found that pebbled leather in general is much more sturdy than smooth leather, and this is especially true for JC bags. I have several JC pebbled leather bags that have worn very well. Unfortunately, the pebbled leather seems to be available only in black for the Peytons...
