This is the weekly "Looking to VENT with J.Crew" post, a place to share our not-so-stellar experiences with J.Crew.

If you have recently experienced a frustrating situation with J.Crew, maybe you might be willing to share that information with us in this post.

Please feel free to share your story on almost any topic— including poor experiences with purchases & orders, promotions/ offers, in-store visits, transactions with store associates, etc.

  1. minor... but the new mobile site is driving me nuts. never remembers me so i have to log in all the time, the wish list always gets redirected to an error when i click on something on the list and the site is super twitchy and sensitive. :/

    1. Totally agree! Tho I do like that I can search multiple sizes at once on the new site. Because I have, at last count, 13 "usual" JC sizes, ugh.

    2. Yes, I totally agree. Don't they play around on the site when they change things- just to see if it's user friendly?!

    3. Wishlist is magically back and working on my mobile...

    4. Why doesn't J.Crew have an app?

  2. Feeling like Paul Mc Cartney attempting to gain acess to the sale section...how early is early enough for me to actually avoid the ghost pages on some items? The sloan glitter flats specifically...have yet to see any sizes available in over 2 weeks of checking at random hours.

  3. The reviews look like they're gone from the website again...UGH. At least most things aren't final sale but still frustrating :(

    1. That is so frustrating! I found the same thing today when looking to re-order a few items in different sizes than I already received. Poof! No reviews available on items I read reviews on a week ago.

  4. Can they come up with ANYthing else besides blue and ivory for the looks we love? And WOW those collection wide-leg pants in silk-linen are hideous on that model...

Why are the swim models anorexic? Is that hot?

    1. They've come up with lots of things...however some people are impossible to please! If it bothers you that much why do you shop there? It seems like the only women who comment on thin ones aren't so thin themselves. Maybe you should try the wide-leg pants, they probably won't be so hideous on you with the thighs to fill them out. :-)

  5. What's up with the returns and refunds process lately? I've made a few returns over the last several months and the first two times they emailed me to discuss first even though I had returned within the 60 day faster threshold. I was asked for the reasons even though these were noted on the return slips. They agreed to process which was weird. Then the next two times I received emails saying if I didn't respond to them within 48 hours I would get my refund with a gift card. By the time I checked my emails the time had lapsed so am stuck with gift cards with PIN numbers you need a microscope to read with a thousand digits. Not sure what's up but the return process has become much more difficult even allowing for their condensed period.
