"Thanks!" to many of you, including Irina, who shared the following email & promotion for J.Crew Factory.

J.Crew Factory is offering up to 40% off select Dresses and Skirts for Women (both online and in stores). This offer expires Sunday, June 9, 2013. The fine print includes:
**Prices as marked. Offer valid on the purchase of dresses and skirts made in J.Crew Factory stores or at jcrewfactory.com from June 5, 2013, 12:01am ET through June 9, 2013, 11:59pm ET. My top pick when it comes to skirts is the Factory Stripe Jersey Foldover Maxiskirt (Item 47942; $72.50) now $50.50. You can't go wrong with this striped(!) skirt that is made of soft, comfortable jersey.

They are also offering 40% off select jewelry purchased online. This offer expires Friday, June 7, 2013. No code necessary as its automatically applied at checkout. The fine print includes:

There are so many pretty new jewelry pieces over at J.Crew Factory. It is definitely worth a look. However, I find you really need to see the item in person to gauge the quality.

Did you check out the Factory site today? Were you able to snag any amazing deals? If so, please share! :)

  3. Links to jewelry, skirt & dress reviews in the Factory Irl Pic Guide. I agree that the jewelery is hit or miss. There have been some stunners this spring, though.

    1. I agree about the jewelry. I drove to local factory store to check out some since online they looked good, IRL, cheap and gaudy.
Also found out that this year, I am in between sizes of the factory pencil skirts.

  4. I received an e-mail this morning from Factory ... everything in store is 40% off this weekend, and the e-mail contains a code for an extra 10% if you print it and bring the bar code to the store.

Factory had really had some BIG promos lately with 40-50% off the whole place. It's good for me, because I think Factory FP is almost always too high for the quality.

  5. The factory jewelry is usually hideous and cheap, but then sometimes they do more classic pieces like the pretty pink and navy enamel bangle. I love the factory oxford popover as well as the poppy printed mini, but note they are cotton... I have yet to buy any of the poly blouses or dresses. I just can't.

  6. Buyer beware, ladies - not sure if this has been mentioned on JCA, but the v-neck factory "layering tee" (33505) is vintage cotton (so is the crewneck version). It says so inside the tee if you zoom in on the picture, which I didn't do for some reason. If it was in the description I wouldn't have given them a second look. I got 2 when they had the 50% off the site so they were $13 apiece but I don't even feel they are worth that. Hate vintage cotton - I could practically feel holes forming as I was trying the tees on! Plus, the V is so low that you can see the middle of my bra. Really hate that it would cost me $7.50 to return them. If you're not a vintage cotton fan, definitely pass these up.

    1. silver lining, thank you for mentioning this. The "factory layering tank" is also vintage cotton. YUCK! They are extremely flimsy, I don't get why they make these.
