There are some new arrivals for men (click here) & women (click here). {wahoo!} It looks like Crewcuts (click here) has been updated, as did the J.Crew Collection (click here).
The May catalog (click here to view) is available to view. However, the new June & July catalog are still not up yet. I thought for sure the June catalog would be up by now.
Sadly, I am a bit underwhelmed by the current roll out of new arrivals. I am sure that will change once I visit my local store. Right now, the only thing that strikes my fancy is the Swiss Dot Tuxedo Shirt (item 01990; $88.00). Nothing extraordinary, but that is what I like about it. A classic piece to own.
What I am disappointed about is the lack of longer skirts- as in, not enough at or below the knee, not enough in an a-line shape, and not enough reasonably priced. (I don't need a Collection skirt with a Collection price for a Summer staple.) Whatever happened to all the regular cotton skirts that J.Crew use to offer like the Cotton Taffeta Belle Skirt (Item 97636; $78.00)? It came in lovely shades, machine washable, relatively affordable, and in a wearable length.
I am also not thrilled with the current offerings of maxi dresses (they are either shapeless, flimsy, and/ or not long enough). I was excited about the Silk-Trim Maxidress (item 01174; $110.00, now $98 - $79.99) until I got it. The "super-light knit jersey" is almost see-through and shorter than I expected. Plus the waistband is not stretchy, which I wasn't expecting to find (and didn't care for). Frankly, the quality is not there to justify that price tag (even on sale). J.Crew use to make great cotton maxi dresses too- that were of substantial weight and detail, like the Dressy Jersey Grecian V-neck Long Dress (item 12613; $98.00).
The Sale Section (click here to shop online) had a super big update this morning for the Women (1105+ items) and a decent update for the Men (317+).
In addition to a number of older (somewhat random) pop-backs, there are lots of new markdowns. (Yey!) Some of which include:
- Ratti regatta tank (Item 46654; $78.00) now $59.99
- Boy shirt in sea horse (Item 43292; $88.00) now $69.99
- Engineered-stripe boatneck top (Item 25167; $45.00) now $29.99
- Silk crepe stripe tank (Item 01365; $88.00) now $68.00
- Cluster sequin tee (Item 17970; $98.00) now $68.00
- Crystal and neon chevron bracelet (Item 04336; $78.00) now $59.99
What items are you most excited about and why? Which items are you surprised (or not surprised) to see? Which items did you hope would be included? Were you expecting a bigger roll-out today? Also, did you receive the latest catalog? :)
Yay for new arrivals! I was hoping for some new dress options that would work for me, but unfortunately nothing this time around.
ReplyDeleteLike Alexis mentioned, there are new markdowns this morning...a lot of them, actually, as well as many new promo-priced items. I'm working on the list of both right now, and will have it up on my blog a little later this morning.
Nothing that's a must-have for me, but I was happy to see the irish linen pjs and robe marked down. The Cashmere Stripe Tank might be something I'd like to try out as well. I was able to snag a pink paisley blouse on popback -- have never seen anyone mention trying this one out? I'm a sucker for these blouses. I nearly bit on the Goldsign white jeans, but I have a pair of Madewell skinnies that I quite like already.
ReplyDeleteSadly, I got the cancel notice on my safari sweater popback from the other day. Ah well.
Sorry M about the safari sweater notice. Don't you hate those. I was so looking forward to your review.
DeleteFor the stripesick among us, I can't say enough good things about the long-sleeve pocket tee in stripe (01875). I pre-ordered this in February and got it in late April. The knit is substanial and the slight boatneck is flattering. I'm going to try it in another color. The only thing (and I mentioned this in my review a while ago) is that even though 'long-sleeve' is in the name, it does have 3/4 sleeves (which is also in the description). Oh, Copywriter from Space!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you,the quality is great on this tee.
DeleteI returned it because it was short on me.
@silver lining and ina Did you notice the new colors are cut different at the bottom hem from the original in navy ivory? Straight cut instead of angled on the sides. Ina, maybe this will improve the length for you.
DeleteJV,i didnt notice that!
DeleteThank you for letting me know:)

DeleteI'm obsessed with a similar top (82955) which is totally overpriced and comes in dreadful colors save for basic black and white. I love the fit and cotton/modal blend.
Delete@dagmara Ahh, the drapey elbow sleeve tee, another repeat item from last summer, but a good one! Last year I had to size up one to get a 'drapey' effect though. I have a couple of those dreadful colors in my cart right now. ;) Love the cotton/modal blends too.
DeleteI'm pale so that mauve shade looks like barf on me :) Wish it came in green or yellow.
DeleteNothing for me in this rollout. I couldn't agree more regarding skirts. Whats up with the lack of knee length a-line skirts these days? They are all "too" something...too long, too short, too many pencil (I just don't love the pencil silhouette in summer, i like softer, more floaty). I guess I'll just keep wearing my 7 year old Ratti regatta skirt.
ReplyDeleteNothing for me, apart from lusting after the cashmere Monarch Tippi! I was really hoping for some more bright and vivid prints, particularly on pencil skirts, but it seems we're doomed to mini skirts.... Not suitable for my 40 something knees!!
ReplyDeleteThey put out a $1100 cashmere jacket???? In June?
ReplyDeleteI like the water-ski print but it doesn't come in anything I would actually buy, except for the bikini that I need like a bullet in my head.
Ema, did you see the water-ski scarf?
DeleteYes, thank you, I saw it but I am not a scarf person. Would have loved a pair of shorts. Oh well, not that I need anything!
DeleteHow about that cashmere beach blanket for $1,498 that has apparently sold out on preorder???
DeleteNothing I want in this bunch either. What is going on???
ReplyDeleteI was more excited by the last rollout - it seemed more interesting and fresh because of the new prints. There are some cute things this time but lots of variations-on-a-theme that I already own.
ReplyDeleteThe weather is starting to warm up around here and I'm loving my recent purchases, so I think I'll sit this rollout out :)
I just finished the list of new promo-priced items & markdowns. You can see it here on my blog. Enjoy your day everyone! :)
ReplyDeleteI am in complete agreement Alexis, especially about skirts! Why are retailers allergic to knee-length in the summer?? I love the Belle Skirt and would be happy to see it in stores again. These 15" minis barely clear my rear. A range of shapes is fine but no knee-length has me bummed.
ReplyDeleteCompletely underwhelmed with the Collection pieces. I mean, REALLY??!!! Nastiest of all was the striped "ref" outfit. ICK!
ReplyDeleteThat outfit made me giggle - the model is in fashion prison!
DeleteThis entire season has been "meh" for me but I am in love with the new Collection shift dress in day glo bloom jacquard, item 11873. Yowza - those colors are right up my alley! Hope I can snag it on sale sometime (30% off of $400 is still to much for me).
ReplyDeleteYeah, wtf is up with no longer a-line skirts? I thought they read this blog. Many of us have been complaining about this for years. I still wear my abstract floral print cotton taffeta belle skirt, which is from what, 2008? And it still looks new. How hard would it be to reproduce that style in new colors and prints? It would be a hit, esp. at the 2008 price.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I love is the collection sorrento dress, and mostly because of the style. I like the deep v, and I think it would be flattering on many.
In need of a heavy duty work bag, got excited when I saw the biennial tote, but then was immediately annoyed that the biennial tote claims it has a padded laptop sleeve, yet the bag dimensions are only 12 by 13... so the sleeve must be even tinier. That won't be holding very many laptops. The search continues!
I have the biennial colorblock tote (http://www.jcrew.com/womens_category/handbags/PRDOVR~26778/26778.jsp) and the "padded laptop sleeve" isn't a sleeve. It's a zip-top pocket that is padded. It easily fits my 13" laptop with room to spare but doesn't a 15" laptop.
DeleteI did get a few small things -- the vintage short sleeve pajama set in dot foulard -- I am a convert to the JC cotton pajamas is a great price (on promo + 30% extra) in a print I love, and the girls embroidered peasant top -- surprisingly hard to find peasant tops for little girls. And a bunch of little things for the kids -- the friendship bracelets (JC does great ones for boys) and barrettes (also great) and the playforever mini speedy, which is excluded from the promo, but I do find that JC finds some cute toy picks.
ReplyDeleteBleh...don't see anything that remotely relates to my life. I'm not sure if that's something to be happy about or sad about....ha! this entire year has been a big "bleh" for me. Also agree about the skirt offerings this year! I bought zillions of cute skirts last year and haven't seen one this year that I like. Too short, either too boring or too exotic...very disappointing. I have accepted that Crew dresses will always to too short for me and I've relied on skirts...but this year there wasn't even skirts to choose from.
ReplyDeleteHowever....I did bite and pick up another pair of Cargo Scout chino's in sea pearl (love the olive ones I have) the Elbow striped tee with the little anchor ( Like I need another striped shirt???), a pair of white Bermuda shorts and two pairs of the Tybee slide sandals (silver and navy). I sure hope they fit. Also picked up the Tippi in Pop Art in the store, where I also tried on the School Blazer in vertical blue and white stripe and a popover in horizontal blue and white stripes. Seriously the blazer made me feel like I was leading a marching band and the popover made me think of convicts. Geez.
ReplyDeleteThere's a new short sleeve popover in-store, style 22075. 100% cotton, $69.50. It comes in a blue/white vertical stripe & a light blue chambray color w/very small white dots. There's a left chest pocket with a flap & button. I will post a review some time today. It's a new arrival as of Mon in-store & I wanted to share in case anyone's going. You can look for it
ReplyDeleteAlexis, I reviewed the swiss dot tuxedo shirt this morning. Also, please check your email. :)
Nothing working for me either. I have to agree for Summer Rollout --- a lot (IMO) of cashmere. Who wears this in the heat? I did like the stripe silk dress and I actually thought the pumps paired with it are cute but didn't see those on the list. I actually like the "pineapple" tee but not at 45.00 --- WAIT FOR SALE on that one. Like many of you, I'm missing the longer skirt as well. I get it's summer but I cannot pull off the "mini" look anymore and I refuse to spend those outrageous prices on the collection skirts. Blah to sequin skirts and all they snag on to.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have J. Crew comment on the sequin thing....I don't see lots of other stores with sequin garments. What's up with all the sequins? Do they really sell that well? Around here they go immediately to sale and languish there.
ReplyDeleteAll in all, an uneven spring season IMO. The prints were absolutely fabulous. The neon is excessive. The hemlines are high, although not as high as other seasons. The shoes are serviceable, though a tad boring. What's up with all the sweaters (and I live in the Northeast!)? The jewelry was gaudy. The dresses were prettier and more wearable than in seasons past, though I agree with Alexis that the maxi dresses were oddly designed.
ReplyDeleteI did a quick scan but nothing for me. The sweaters are not even selling here and our high today is going to be 64. The sale sections at my B&M's are almost as big as the regular priced sections. Nothing is moving but I don't see any really great deals either. Come on J Crew, you got to move this stuff, Fall items will be coming out soon.
Deletecousy....Ditto on the jewelry! I'm a huge jool slut and I haven't bought one piece of J. Crew jewelry this year. Been buying classics from Tory Burch and Kenneth Jay Lane. Hope the Crew goes back to classic styles and gets off the rhinestone/neon/gaudy bandwagon soon.
ReplyDeleteReview of the currently retail only short sleeve popovers.
ReplyDeleteJust prancercise! Silliness at Refinery 29. Staff member is wearing a JC pencil skirt at about :47.
ReplyDeleteI am also very underwhelmed by this rollout and frankly a lot of the past few rollouts. The items I have mostly been buying have been popbacks on sale and some of the Liberty pieces.
ReplyDeleteJ. Crew does a fantastic job of creating these gorgeous prints but putting them on items that don't work or on off season items. You are shooting yourselves in the foot J. Crew! I love the regatta print and the water ski especially but how about putting them on a nice A Line skirt, dress, or a cute button down, even a cute clutch? I would have snapped up either of these prints (and the seahorse print) in a cotton tunic dress (like the kiwi print one) at full price.
I second seeing more A Line skirts, when it's hot outside a lightweight A line skirt or a loose fitting maxi is much more comfortable than a tailored pencil skirt or a mini. I don't understand why they don't issue the same prints in a variety of skirt styles instead of just one particular style.
With that said, the few items I have picked up recently that I really love and would like to see more of them. I like the Sosie blouse, would love to see that in a print and reissued for fall, I also like the Electric Kiwi tunic dress a lot and would love to see that style offered in some other colors and solids. I love the Liberty prints but please put some more of these pretty prints on non Collection pieces and A Line skirts.
Hi katertott...I so agree with you! I just stopped in a B&M to see some prints in person and was saddened by the fact that the ones I loved didn't come on "normal" items. I don't wear tiny Daisy Duke shorts or miniskirts and so many of the nice prints are on those tiny garments. What gives? If these prints were on a nice A- line skirt, a full skirt or nice LONGER length dress I'd buy them. I'm even jealous of the nice items the little girls get! I didn't see one thing I even wanted to try on. Everything else either looked exactly like what I bought last summer or it was just boring. So I walked right across the mall and bought a fantastic white cotton pleated skirt and an ankle length navy skirt from Banana Republic. Love them both and I can do alot of mixing and matching with them.
DeleteI know, it's like they work hard to design these prints and do a fantastic job at it and then they decide to put it on some of the most boring items possible and then only use it for one or two things on top of that. You would think they would want these great prints as their signature of sorts and put them on a variety of things but no.
DeleteLilly Pulitzer is a great example of a designer that features prints on different items and it works great, if you love a particular print you aren't limited to just one or two things they decided to put it on, and judging by the comments here, J. Crew isn't the best judge at what to put their prints on, like a (cute) fish print in a wool sweater in May.
I also get jealous of the girls' clothing, I saw a cute Liberty Tresco sundress and was wishing they had made this for women as well. I don't know why they don't think women would want something like that too?
Good point about Lilly....yes, she really worked the prints. She put them on everything from a totebag to a swim cover up to a dress. J. Crew should take a page from her marketing book. I LOVE the blue sailboat dress for the little girls. I would have bought it in a minute if it was made in women's. I would be a very loyal customer of J. Crew if they would make a fit and flair dress that hit around my knee in the cute summer prints. Pair it with ballet flats or sandals and a straw tote or cute bag and it's a classic look. J. Crew wake up! Not everyone wants to wear a sequin mini skirt with a neon printed popover. ARG!
DeleteA couple of things I like are from collection, which of course does not fit my lifestyle right now. I like the dot foulard trouser but at $395 minus 30% and $25 rewards, still too much for this college student...*sigh..someday*. Also the Sofia Buckle Sandal, reminiscent of design brand Chloe...but for a sandal at that price? Why didn't it start at $188?
ReplyDeleteI think I've given up on this season. Not much to obsess over. Just a couple more months and its the fall roll-out.
Has anyone tried the linen/silk collection long-sleeve tee? Or at least seen it irl? It's in my cart for a possible purchase with the 30% off. $64.40 would make it a decent price, in Canada at least, if the quality is fair.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know anything about this gorgeous top? The desert floral tank. http://www.jcrew.com/womens_category/shirtsandtops/sleeveless/PRDOVR~01341/01341.jsp
ReplyDeleteIt's not in new arrivals, but I found it by accident under women's tops this morning. Looks like there are shorts in the same print. Per some of the comments above, if it was in an A-line skirt, I would have snapped it up.
Mary G. that is a preorder item and it probably will be in the July or August rollout. The print looks fabulous an also comes in shorts. . To see preorder items just type preorder in the jcrew site search box. You add it to your cart like normal and when it becomes available it ships to you before it appears on the site for regular orders. HTH.
DeleteAnyone remember when final sale came back last summer? A few items are calling my name but I would like them to land on the next month's jcrew card statement if you know what I mean:)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Celle. I'm used to pre-orders coming in the twice-yearly season preview flyers, but had never had one pop up like that. I'll start using that search so I don't miss anything else.
ReplyDeleteReview of the stripe linen tunic. It would look really good on....
ReplyDeleteAny JCAs try any of the midrise jeans? I need some cheap lipo.
ReplyDeleteLOL!
DeleteGigi i did, i have the white midrise toothpicks and i tried the jeans too. I love them and they fit differently than regular toothpicks. You can use 'midrise' and search my blog. Hth
DeleteGigi- I'll sign up for cheap lipo after two kids. I can still suck in my stomach to give the appearance of a semi flat stomach, but boy it is getting harder and harder. Midrise is what I really need soon!
DeleteGigi, have you tried Madewell's skinny skinny high riser? They will be long on you, so you'd have to hem them up, but they are a cheap lipo solution (lol), nice and stretch and comfortable.
DeleteWendy - If I try the midrise, I'll let you know. Not Your Daughter Jeans is ok. Hit or miss.
Deleteshopwithm - I haven't tried the Madewell midrisers. Thanks for the tip! What would we all do without each other lol
This rollout has been really meh. I have bought only 2 items this year from their rollouts this year. It saves me tons of money, but I stll would like to have the option of buying rather than no opton at all because there is nothing I want at all. I am hopeful each rollout, though.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, it has been rather lackluster so far for 2013. I didn't jump on the JCrew bandwagon until just this past winter after spotting the blue schoolboy in their display window, but if this snooze-fest continues I might just find somewhere else to shop. However, the pics from their Fall '13 collection look awesome so I'm crossing my fingers.
DeleteI know this may be wishful thinking on my part, but perhaps this meh half of the year will give us exciting rollouts for the Fall/Winter season??? I believe things balance out in life. That thought is what I use to console myself thus far after each boring rollout so far.
DeleteCosign. With the exception of a few new pieces, I have been riding the popback wave. There is a larger rollout scheduled for June 19th. Hopefully that will contain more exciting options.
DeleteJust a couple of gems (both in blue color) on the men's side: Colorblock cardigan item no. 50261 and the peak lapel Ludlow suit jacket in four-season heathered Italian wool (item no. 82432). Adding the suit pants would cost around $ 950 for the whole suit.
ReplyDeleteJust wondering if anyone knows how much the convertible jeweled collar sweater is in store? I read somewhere it's 39.99 and wanted to confirm it! TIA!
ReplyDeleteAD MD - An anon shared that the conv jeweled collar sweater is $39.99. The sosie finally got another cut and is now $39.99 (review.
DeleteAny reviews of the convertible jeweled collar sweater? Has anyone tried it on? I have no idea what size I would be. I'm thinkking it is a Tippi style, but not sure about the linen/poly fabric content. TIA!
Deleteshopalot - The conv jeweled collar on Rose and Fit Fab Fun Mom. But you have to see this DIY Sew Petite Gal.
DeleteThanks so much, Gigi! I hope I can find the sweater in store. It's a great price; I've wanted that sweater for a while but it was just so expensive.
Deleteshopalot - email me gigiofca@gmail
Deleteshopalot. I saw it last weekend at Cherry Creek, CO store, not sure sizes or price 303-322-7020.
DeleteJCAs are the best! Thank you so much. I called & the store is holding 2 sizes for me to try. Never thought I'd be able to get this adorable sweater for such a low price.
DeleteThanks for posting this, I had my eye on it too but wasn't crazy about the price point. Just called my local store and they're holding one for me.
DeleteWere only some of the colors in the Sosie tops marked down? They still show up at $79.99. I have one and wanted to grab a few more colors.
Yay, shopalot!
Deletekatertott - I just remembered the Sosie was available online only. Someone else reported the $39.99 price. Maybe they meant the Sera, the sleeveless version (review)
$39.99 for the convertible jewel collar sweater?! I hope the Toronto stores have these marked down for the same price. I love the DIY idea, too
DeleteI took the same size s in the conv jewel collar as I do In the tippi.
DeleteOT - if anyone sees a No 2 pencil skirt in melon, size 12 in their local stores please let me know!! :):)
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
mackenzie_0007 at yahoo dot com
mack - You have mail!!
DeleteItem 48963, the Piped Foulard Shirt, is $69.99 on the website but $39.99 in stores before the 25 or 30% discount.
ReplyDeleteLaddies time to shop!!! Just left my b&m and there are lots of new markdowns. They have had to scatter them in more areas of the store because there is so much. (Hello wool and cashmere in the summer aren't selling?? duh) I bought the linen whale Tippi for $49.99, the Butterfly Tippis in both colorways for $ 29.99 each and the stitch work stripe top (black with neon) for $24.99 all plus extra 30% with jcrew card. The convertible jewel collar sweater is $39.99 and I had to order it from the red phone since they didn't have my size. They honored the $39.99 price and extra 30% off but charged me $5 shipping? The neon tweed pencil skirt has been marked down again. It was either $49.99 or $39.99 but didn't have my size instore or online. If anyone sees a size 4 in their store let me know and I may do a charge send!
ReplyDeleteHaHa. I guess both laddies and ladies!
DeleteI was surprised to see drastic price differences and huge markdowns on relatively new items, love that it's not final sale either. Sometimes the sale goggles are on when I buy stuff this deeply discounted.
DeleteWhich store is this at? I'd love to know!
DeleteI can confirm all prices for the San Francisco store on Market. They have not finished tagging all the markdowns, so just ask them to scan the item for an accurate price. I picked up the Linen Whale Tippi and the Convertible Jewel collar Sweater. While they had the TIppi priced correctly the Jewel Collar sweater was marked $99.99 and rung up $39.99 at the register.
DeleteLove the comment on the sales goggles! I was seriously considering driving to buffalo to pick up the stripped butterfly tippi's!
DeleteBoo the butterfly tippi's are still at $84.99 in Canada
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteMy previous post seems to have disappeared, the boy shirt in seahorse is $49.99 in store and rugby dresses are $39.99 before discount. I grabbed a jewel collar sweater, seahorse shirt and rugby dress for $90 after discount in total. Great deals!
ReplyDeleteKatertot I tried on the seahorse boy shirt too. The fabric was a little heavier than I expected and I would have bought it if I hadn't already bought 5 other pieces today! I think they must be in a panic since the first fall rollout will be in about a month. Yikes!
DeleteShoppingCelle, it seems like there is an awful lot in sale this year compared to last year. I wonder if they're hitting some kind of market saturation with some of their pieces.
DeleteMaybe so cate. Last year I bought tons of cafe capris in the summer and lots over the winter too. I bought one this spring and summer season: the mint gilded brocade and they are hanging in my closet with the tags still on.
DeleteInteresting. I guess they're embellishing their basic styles like the cafe capris because a big part of their customer base already has the basic colors (although, I'm waiting impatiently for them to put out true navy cafe capris). But a person can only have so much embellished clothing, so they'll reach saturation with that too, unless people are madly getting rid of their new-ish clothes. They should keep their core basics, but they need to change it up too. They must have creative talent there at JC HQ, they need to use it!
DeleteI will probably go back and do a second look at the sale section tomorrow, have a feeling it will be very picked over by the weekend. I was on the fence about the whale Tippi but with it not being final sale I can snag and see how I feel. This is definitely one of the better sales (at least in store) that J. Crew has had in a while.
DeleteI'm really happy I got the seahorse shirt, I've been eyeing it since it came out, the jeweled sweater is very pretty but thinking it will probably be an early fall sweater at this point, the rugby dress is fun and basic, I don't know why it was priced at $88, but at $27 it's a great casual dress and I like the papaya color a lot.
Why, oh why, are every pair of sandals I want not expected to ship until August 5th! It will almost be time for boots by then!
ReplyDeleteFinally got the Lillian Suede wedges in 7.5! These are much better than the 8s I had first. The footbed is shorter so my toes stay put under the strap. They came about a month before the backorder date.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, that's encouraging! I was going to order them but the back order date is August 5. If it ended up being July5 instead, I could live with that!
DeleteYou never know, they could come early. Mine weren't all that fast, seeing as I've been waiting a couple of months, but still it was sooner than they predicted so that's encouraging. Good luck!
Deletecate, do they charge your credit card right away or wait until they ship?
DeleteNot until they ship.
Deletecate - yay for your lillians!
DeleteKLLoves - They authorize your charge card & it will sit as a hold for a business day or two, then drop off. As Cate stated, they will be charged when they ship.
DeleteThanks Gigi!
DeleteThanks, ladies! I'm going to order them and hope that they arrive some time this summer. :)
DeleteOT - The beaded rosette necklace is back at Groopdealz, $14.99 + free shipping. Irl pic of mint at the bottom of this post.
ReplyDeleteThanks, gigi. After seeing this on lots of bloggers and liking it, I'm willing to try it for $14.99. :)
Deletemath teacher - I like the necklace quite a bit. Once I got the mint one, I thought I'd get a 2nd one if they ran the deal again. So I did. :)
DeleteBummer the coral is sold out. Think they'll restock and run another deal?
Deletecuckoo - This is the 3rd time Groopdealz has offered it. They might run it again.
DeleteYou can see the coral on Jenni.
Thanks Gigi- you're the best!
DeleteYou're welcome, cuckoo. It's nice to get a good idea of things on the lust list before we can get them. lol
Deletegigi, I picked the mint one. :) It was a hard decision, but I've been wanting a mint necklace.
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteI made it to the store today, here are some prices I saw (before 25/30% discount) - Twisted Stitch Open Neck Sweater (I saw ivory, navy, and stripe) 29.99, Butterfly Tippi (both colorways) 29.99, Liberty Phoebe Popover 59.99, the striped boatnecks (indigo, green, pink, white/gold) 24.99, Stitchwork Stripe Top (Black/Pink) 24.99, Whale Tippi 49.99, Chino Shorts 3&5inch in bright colors like pink, yellow, mint etc were 19.99, Schoolboy in Tipped Linen 99.99, Linen Scarf in Pink 29.99, Golden charm bracelet 69.99 (I think) . Marked down items were ALL over the store, not just in the sale section (which was also full). I saw the Rugby Dress but it was tagged 69.99, I should have asked for a price check :) This sale in store is craaazy and made even better because nothing is final sale!
ReplyDeleteAlso just wanted to mention that when the salesperson was ringing me up, he asked if I had/was going to use my JC card. When I said that I was, he asked if I had a copy of the email JC sent out so that I could get the 30% discount. I didn't, but I was able to just show him the email on my phone, and that was enough. He was very polite about it, even apologetic, saying that "they" were requiring him to ask, but it was just so odd, especially since the email says nothing about bringing it to store and there is no barcode to scan.
DeletePaula, I don't think he got the memo. The signs all over the store clearly state 25-30% off. (rolls eyes) If the store didn't have signs like mine did, the promo has been running enough days that the store should have it straight. I'm sorry to hear you went thru that.
Delete
