This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale
items at our
various local J.Crew stores. ;)
If
you are stopped
by a J.Crew store this past weekend
to see what's available (if
anything!) in the SUMMER sale, or to see some new SUMMER arrivals
{sigh!} in person, maybe you
might be willing to
share that with us in this post. In
particular, if you could share
with us a few of the noteworthy items
that are available, at what
prices, and potential sizes the
store is carrying (as well as the
store location)- that would be
fantastic!
Also, please
let us know if your local store
was/ is carrying an additional
percent off sale. Thanks in
advance!!! :)
I went to Pacific Place in Downtown Seattle. 25% sale and additional 30% off entire store on top of that! I got 2 summer straw hats for vacation (one pink and one aqua stripe) for $10.49 each! I got the Knit tunic dress with marled trim for $26 (it's $64 online!), tortoise capri sandals for $18.37, Linen bandana tee $34.66 and the A-line ponte dress in Poppy for $41.99!
ReplyDeleteLodden Paisley Liberty perfect shirt in size 0 was available at Southdale/Edina and Grand Ave. JCrew in MN if you're still looking. Priced at $70 pre-discounts, comes out to appx. $40 if you get the 25% non-cardholder discount plus the add'l off clearance.
ReplyDeleteIn general, sales sections in the stores I visited were picked through of good stuff but still quite full of merchandise that hasn't moved since winter. Even if JCrew was to offer a crazy 80% off deal on the items, I don't think I'd purchase anything.
Review of the classic mirror ballet flats. Still regular price online vs $89.99 in-store on 6/8. Not sure if they've seen a 2nd in-store cut.
ReplyDeleteNo store for me in awhile. Will likely go this week.
The stacked sale thing is crazy! A lot was picked over in my store, but still some finds.
ReplyDeleteYesterday I reviewed the in-store striped ponte dress (so cute!), white rose necklace, and Boucle Colorblock Jacket in indigo here.
Today I just posted reviews of the Merino Tippi in Striped Monarch, the Heathered Sequin Tank and neon Cluster Sequin Tee here.
I loved that ponte dress until I saw the exposed brass zipper in the back. ARGH! I should have suspected it.
DeleteI got the Jcrew classic silver ballet flats for $27! And I got the colored pave bracelet for $79.99 plus the 25% off plus the additional 25% off. I wish there was more that I wanted to buy because the stacked sale is awesome.
ReplyDeleteI went to the store closest to me, Cambridgeside Galleria in Cambridge Mass, and was unable to take advantage of the stellar deals that all y'all are scoring. They have merch, but not much selection - either in sizes or colors. The sale selection was pretty weak. Too bad - because they have the nicest staff - I always feel bad that I never buy anything in there.
ReplyDeleteLuckily for me, one of the few things I really liked this year - the jacquard dress in day glo green popped back in my size yesterday morning and I was able to get it at30% off. Still $$$$ but right up my alley as far as color and style goes, if what arrives is truye to what I see online. Wondering if J.Crew will honor the complimentary tailoring on it.
Added on the pleated silk dress in dark hydrangea (I have been wanting a dress like this forever ... but the little pocket turns me off) ) and a pair of linen cafe trousers (that is right, not capris) for about $48.
I am excited for this package ... but not for the bill! I am happy that returns are free at least.
I didn't go to a store this weekend but finally scored the Jules Dress in Italian Paisley on pop back this morning, for $83 after the 30% off, I've been trying to get it for months but it's never popped back in my size. Hoping it arrives and in new condition. Going to stop by my store today and check out what's left of the sale
ReplyDeleteKatertott how lucky for you. I have been hunting for a size 4 forever it's just hard to wake up to hunt for popbacks everyday.
DeleteAddtl 25% off sale promo stacking is over. Ended yesterday, Sunday. As of today, only 25% or 30% off w/your J Crew card, which is supposed to end today. If anyone has different news, please share :)
ReplyDeleteMy store says no more stacking. Boo!
DeleteOh well, saves me a trip to the store. Probably picked over at this point anyways
Delete* featherweight stripe cashmere sweater - $169.99 online vs $89.99 in-store)
ReplyDelete& engineered-stripe boatneck ($24.99 in-store)
Both reviewed in this post.
Regarding the double-stacking. If my math serves, the addtl 25% + 25% yielded a savings of $18.75 for every $100. An addtl 25% + 30% w/jrew card yielded a savings of $22.50 for every $100. If I had done a re-buy, I would've saved about $40. That's a good bit of savings. However, I probably would've purchased more items and left spending more, not to mention time and gas spent. I think I feel glad I missed it. lol
I have been avoiding the regular store in order to be more budget-minded until the fall collections roll out. So I went to the Factory store in Kittery, ME to take advantage of the 40% off + 25% off for cardholders. The best buy for me appeared to be early fall arrivals: the Factory equivalent of the Tippi in wool. They don't seem to be online. I got a heather gray one for just over $30. I have many store Tippis and I can't tell the difference at all.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone is looking for the colorblock boucle jacket in indigo, North Michigan Avenue Chicago store had at least 8 size small, 2 size XS, 1 size XL marked $29.99 before your discount. Piped foulard shirt down to $19.99; they had several left but I'm not sure of the sizing. Lots of white butterfly Tippis in assorted sizes ($29.99). The sale section seemed to have more than last week when I visited. Phone: 312-751-2739
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know how much the seville wedges in navy or flax are in store? TIA!
ReplyDeleteThey are still FP, at least the navy ones (didn't see the flax but they weren't in the sale section)
DeleteWent to the North Shore Mall in Peabody, MA. Got seersucker cafe capris (size 8) and NO. 2 Ppencil skirt in pinwheel eyelet in neon rose (size 10) grand total: $60. The stacked sale did make everything final sale though.
ReplyDeleteI only got a pair of utility pants for below $12. I resisted everything else in the store because I am trying to buy things that I really like or feel a void and not because they are cheap. I even left a pair of calf hair Everlies for $95. At this point there is only one thing that I am waiting to get marked down (the Collection pom-pom top) so I am saving for that one.
ReplyDeleteThe promo is still going, but the code has changed. LOVEJCREW for 25% off or 30% off w/your J Crew card thru Wed, 6/26.
ReplyDeleteThe promo is also continuing in-store, fyi.
