ReplyDeleteI had the same issue you did with that dress on Friday. I went to order it and the CSR told me they could not find it and that it was sold out, which I knew was NOT true. After talking to a *great* manager, it seems that the dress got accidentally pulled from the website when the new arrivals got listed. This is a huge mistake and they are currently trying to fix it.
They offered to find the dress through the "we will find it for you service" and they found it & are now shipping it to me. What is weird is that the website indicates its "a catalog/jcrew.com exclusive" but some stores did receive it.
Sorry for the rambling, I hope some of this helps. :)

ReplyDeleteThank you for all of your help and direction. I supplied all of the info that you gave me to a CSR; I even mentioned I had a "friend" who was able to locate the dress in the same manner that I was trying to accomplish <-- you :) .
They said the dress had absolutely vanished, there is nothing they can do, no higher manager to speak to, no confirmation the website had malfunctioned. I asked for a 'We Will Find It', and the results came back almost immediately that it is nowhere to be found. I might have cursed myself not buying the dang dress when I had the chance.
In any case, I so appreciate your support. I think I will be hyper vigilent in checking this site and ebay incase something pops up. Thanks again! :)
