Weekly Share: Other JCrew-like Retailers

This is the weekly "Other JCrew-like Retailers" post (similar to the "Off On A Tangent" posts), where we can share our finds from other retailers that have offerings similar to J.Crew (like Anthropologie, LE Canvas, Gap, BR, Talbots, Ann Taylor, and the like.)

If you have recently encountered items that are similar to J.Crew, maybe you might be willing to share that information with us in this post.

    I reviewed the Rebecca Minkoff Love crossbody here for anyone who's interested. It's reminiscent of the Chanel boy bag.

    i just placed my first order with everlane. i won't get the stuff for another couple of days so i'll review next week... but i'm curious as to what others think of everlane.

      See my post from last week about their Chunky Knit sweater pilling issues. In their response to me they said they were sending me a surprise. An hour later I got an email with $20 credit to my account. I thought that was nice and I do have the option to the return the sweater if I decide the pilling/combing is unmanageable. But then Saturday I got home and there was a package from them, inside a dark grey cashmere sweater in my size. WOW!!!!! I was overwhelmed, they do stand behind their products. I did place an order today for a tee-shirt with my $20 credit and the Free Shipping offer.

      oh wow... good and bad... ok... so consider me forewarned about the chunky knit... but i'm glad they're standing behind their products.

      Wow! I just ordered the Chunky Slouchy Boyfriend Knit yesterday, so I hope I don't have issues.

      Regardless, I agree with you that they stand behind their products. I have one of their snap backpacks, and my leather has been cracking. They put $70 credit in my account to get a new one if I wish.

      Love their sleeveless silk tops! Soft and not thin. Great for layering under cardigans, blazers for winter and then on its own during warmer months.
