no...too close to Xmas (assume malls will be very busy ) maybe after the holidays. I do not want anything on offer right now.....but am looking forward to seeing/ordering the red sandals crazyaboutjcrew posted on instagram the other day. I phone to see if I could get them......of coarse not....until Jan 22 ( they are part of the resort collection) lucky people who do get to go to concept /collection stores. they were on promo for crazyaboutjcrew and then 30% off.....even if I pre ordered I would not be given this price......just saying J Crew. You missed another sale...I am going to Mexico for Xmas....need the sandals now not later. Oh....well

DeleteI did venture into a store, some returns and to pickup a couple of Tippis (Can a girl have enough??? obviously not since I picked up 2 and 2 older ones from EBay coming today). With the 40% off and used a $20 off $100 card and they netted only $38 which is pretty good. Poor SA rattled off the new promo, 40% off sweaters, jewelry, gift items, and sale and 30% off everything else. But she did it with a great smile so kudos to her.
ReplyDeleteIf I may ask, what color Tippis do they have in store? Anyone seen the Safari? Searching high & low for a Medium ever since I got shipped the wrong color 2 weeks ago & it's been sold out since.
DeleteAna, I can't remember if they had the safari color but the store at Friendly Center in Greensboro NC had a couple different green colors (and about 8 colors total). Didn't notice what the sizes were though...

DeleteAna, the safari color(heather olive) was in all sizes in my store. the store is the Marietta,Avenues at East Cobb Georgia store. HTzh
DeleteThe two stores by me only have the basic colors, black, grey, midnight and one had Vivid Jade.
ReplyDeleteI wish there was a navy Tippi in store. The midnight is ok but I would like that really dark navy the Jcrew is known for. I am searching for a navy sweater of some type and haven't found anything in the store this year!
Deletecanadian JCA's With the low can.$ our prices here are comparable to the U.S right now ( give or take a buck or two ) I am in Vancouver and I have always ordered online and pick up over the border (way cheaper until now ) I was at the Robson St. store today and the SA ( manger ) even up the 30% TO 40% on a sweater because I was waffling. All in all the two necklaces, bracelet ,two sweaters plus a blouse was the same as I would have paid in Seattle BM.....he told me Boxing day 50% and 30% on everything else.....

DeleteSuggestion: you can always reach out to a JC personal stylist for items you can't seem to find. They'll be able to do more thorough search for you. I used them a couple of times and it was well worth it. Good luck!
