In case you were wondering if this is a good deal... a lot of items that were on promotion for 30% off yesterday are back to regular price. I also have seen a lot of pieces still on sale, jump in the sale price too. Very sneaky J.Crew!
What are your thoughts on J.Crew Factory's latest email promotion? Did you get the email? Are you planning to use it today? If so, please share! :)
The things I wanted are back to regular price, so I'm offering my code: FMCEKSFXG.
ReplyDeleteComment if you use it! :)
The Factory pricing games drive me nuts.
ReplyDeleteI got 30% off with my own code, so I can't complain much, but all it does is make price the same they were yesterday without promo!
I agree, Rosie. I was eying the Houndstooth blazer yesterday which was priced at $131. I thought with my 30% off code, it would be even cheaper. But it was not to be. The blazer went up in price to $178! Pricing games are just ridiculous. What a bunch of pricing guessing on the consumers part. I don't have the time or energy to check back every other day. I do have things I have to do; like work! ;-)
DeleteI agree. I don't understand how they can say 40% off everything on the website and so much is full price. BS, J Crew!! Here is my 30% FMC2U99DL code.
DeleteI've been pretty irritated lately with factory prices. They have been only $10-$20 less than retail items. Definitely not attractive enough to warrant a drive to my factory store. What's the point of buying from the factory store if the prices are almost exactly the same as the retail store?
ReplyDeleteMe too. I feel like they should always include a 30/40% off code, or be at least $30-50 off retail items.
DeleteFactory prices are not that much cheaper, so why buy factory items unless you missed out on some retail items. I don't live near a factory store either. Factory items are usually hit and miss for me in terms of sizing. It's either too big or too small even when it's the same size. So do I order something that I'm not able to try on but end up returning it? Sending it back it is a pain because I have to wait for them to process my transaction or do I make the 45 minute drive? Either way, I don't want to do either so I order from retail since I live so close to a retail store.
DeleteTotally agree. I wouldn't buy everything from Factory. For example, I tried their blazers over the weekend and the fit is just not the best. The schoolboy is so much better. I would rather spend a little bit more but have a better blazer. Their tees and knits are great. Love some of the shirts. The pants and skirts, not so much.
DeleteMirna-Did you happen to try on the Houndstooth Schoolboy? I'm with you...just pay a few $$ more for retail that usually has better quality and fit. I have a Factory polka dot popover that's white with the jaquard white and navy dots. Doesn't even compare to the retail version. It is super blousy and ill fitting that I end up not wearing it that often. Should I have spent $20 more for the retail. Oh well...lesson learned!
Delete@Wendy I didn't try that one on. Didn't like it in person. I did try the gray and camel. They didn't fit me...too boxy. Hoping to get the camel from retail.
DeleteThanks, Mirna.
DeleteI won't be using my code for 30% off: FMC94D66X
ReplyDeleteHere's another code.
ReplyDeleteFMCKFEJH4
I won't be using this code
ReplyDeleteFMC54WA34
30% off
Look at all these unwanted codes. I hope J Crew is taking note -- the Factory is wack!
ReplyDeleteI have issues getting Factory emails. So..no code for me! Oh well. The two things I wanted sold out last week while I was on vacation, so not too disappointed. My money went to the giant Lilly Pulitzer sale today.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing worth using these codes on are the excursion vests, because I don't see those going on promo anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteHere's another code: FMCWJAB3C
ReplyDeletePost if you use it please:)
Code for 30%: FMCMSS2GB
ReplyDeleteI just received a box from Factory, and wanted to give a quick and dirty review for anyone using their codes.
ReplyDeleteFrench Hen tee -- super cute, solid cotton, TTS (got my usual small)
French Hen sweater (what can I say, I like the hen) -- Bright blue color is very pretty, sweater is itchy (although the retail one was too, to be fair).
Charlie striped sweater dress - Love the colors. Not too short, but above knee, TTS. Loved it on, more than expected to. Bit itchy. Great for fall with boots.
Ruffle-collar wool dress -- I got the dark green, and it's so pretty! I love it on, very flattering. Perfect for holidays. TTS.
Code: FMC5NUTB3
ReplyDeleteI would love a 30% off code if anyone has one. All of the above seemed to be already taken and I need to do some early Christmas shopping. elizabethsibsmith@gmail.com.
ReplyDeleteI think those codes were good for August 19th only. Another promo just started; however. Teachers and students get 25% (instead of the usual 15%) August 20-25.
