I have the J. Crew Aggie boots. They run TTS. I wear 7.5 in the ballet flats and took 7.5 in the Aggie boots.

ReplyDeleteI think I may use the bounce back card to finally pick up the beaded rose necklaces. I've been pining after both for months-- the white is on sale and the red is just about sold out now.
ReplyDeleteSince it's close to the end of summer, I would love to hear how late into fall you think someone could wear these necklaces. Do you think this necklace is timeless enough to wear for the neck few years, or will it look dated? Do you think one color is more classic than the other? Or easier to pair with outfits?

I've only admired the necklaces through JC styling photos, but I'd like to try my hand at giving styling advice. Perhaps see if the white matches with any of your winter whites. That might make a nice combination to wear deep into the colder months since winter whites are such a refreshing trend right now. I think both necklaces will make great transitional pieces both into the fall, reminiscent of warmer summer days, as well as in the spring, anticipating the arrival of warmer weather. I don't mean my advice to be enabling, but if it is within your means and you really love the pieces, I think they are quite stylish and incredibly classic colors. For me, for a piece to have lasting value, I just really have to love it. That itself will determine if I keep wearing it, not whether other people think it is classic or stylish.

I do really love both pieces and picked them up last week. My only concern is that the white seems to get dirty easily. Other than that, I am truly pleased! I wore the red this weekend and really enjoyed it.
