Just for Cardmembers: something worth holding on to

"Thanks!" to Irina, as well as S H, who shared with us the latest email from J.Crew to its card members.

The email above features the not-yet-officially-released-online Mezzaluna satchel (item 63664; $275.00). J.Crew mentions:
Inspired by the structured looks of the '70s, this satchel has all the charm of a vintage-store score (minus the hassle of sifting through endless bins of stuff). Crafted from ultra-soft refined leather with plush suede accents (our designers love the two-toned look), it's at once perfectly polished and weekend ready. Finished with a detachable suede shoulder strap. Zip closure. Brass-finish hardware. Interior zip pocket, split-patch cell pocket. Cotton twill lining. Part of J.Crew Collection. Comes with dust bag. Import. Removable, adjustable shoulder strap fully extends to 8 1/2". 4 1/2" handle drop. 8 1/2"H x 13 3/4"W x 4 3/4"D.
Super cute bag... from the one view. It's too bad there are no more images of the bag (including interior.)

And of course, this means that new arrivals are once again around the corner!

What are your thoughts on the new bag? Do you like the style of the purse?

  1. It's super cute and seems well made, but I know I'd get the suede dirty in no time.

  3. Hahaha! I didn't even notice that J.Crew only gave us one view of it. It reminds me of something Rebecca Minkoff would design for some reason...

  5. Very cute. I wonder if there are other colors. I do need - scratch that - want a new bag.

  6. I have had the Tillary tote in Warm Sienna for about two weeks and it's already dirty. I guess because the leather is so soft, but all of my denim and colored pants rub off on the leather. Does anyone know the best way to clean light colored leather is? I'm afraid I will mess it up....

  7. Definitely need to pretreat bags with a stain and rain guard. Curious about the leather they use being more probe to dirt if the leather is lower grade.
