  1. It's been quite a while since I ordered anything from JCrew so perhaps this is old news. I made a big order yesterday and received the shipping notice late last night! What happened to the days of waiting days on end for your stuff to ship!? Furthermore, it's already at my local UPS hub so I'm pretty certain it will be delivered tomorrow (2 days after ordering). Wow!

  2. THAT is great for US customers. on the other side for Canadians ... we pay $12. it takes the full 9 business days and add on the sat sun....its 11 days. I have forgotten I placed an order by then.

    2. Unknown, I totally agree with your comment. Shipping for Canadians is soooo sloooow. I find it is usually a two week exercise. And the amount we have to pay for that is rediculous. I have seriously curtailed my online Jcrew shopping as a result.

  3. OMG, you guys.

JC really has been doing gingham forever - check out this oldie on eBay (so not my auction)!

    1. ha!! I actually wasn't even ready to believe it was JC until I saw the pic of the tag. When did they last use that rower silhouette? I'm thinking early 90s...

    2. Wow, that is actually pretty awful looking. The 1970's fembot-style model is pretty creepy too!

    4. well, the "model" is a window dummy - a lot of eBay sellers use those for their merch pictures. That's not down to JC. But the shirt/nightie is, although seller says it's an XL so part of the problem may be that it's way too big for the dummy. Nevertheless, it's not one of the items on my regular stalk list!

    5. Ha ha, that's hilarious! It looks like a clown costume. However, the mixed colours reminds me of this season's mixed gingham sandals, which I just adore!

  4. The Ruffle Top in French blue with navy piping is in Canadian stores now (Ottawa and Toronto Bloor st have it)! I already bought it on a popback online luckily but I really had to stalk it lol. It's a beautiful top, hopefully this helps someone. It sold out online very quickly in a previous rollout.

  5. @Ema, this is in reference to an earlier comment I made about the Sammie pant in corduroy (item F4583), but you were right, they are available, in at least some stores in NYC, after all! (My store manager said he'd been told his store wasn't going to receive them.) I tried the Columbus Circle location today and they had them in the Pink and Brown colors -- LOVE this style! Unlike the chino version, the cord version has zip-up pockets & the silhouette seemed to fall a bit straighter, like a trouser (at least on me, but I am very short.) Those of you thinking of these pants, you might want to size down from your usual size, as they seem to run a tiny bit big. Was able to buy these at 25% off, not sure whether that was a store-only sale or what.

Also tried on the brown cord skirt, same color, another love. I'll wait to buy this one for now. Wee, fall!
