I am surprised to see a lot of the Transport Totes on sale. They are recent additions to the collection.

  1. Just ordered the Rhodes Blazer in Pink off the Nordstrom website. Size 2P. I called JC to see when it would be back on the website and they could not tell me. So odd that Nordstrom would get some before JC would. Hate that I couldn't take advantage of the 25% off (on the JC website)

    1. Barbara Meyers, I'm glad that you were able to order the blazer you wanted. I know that Nordstrom price matches. I'm not sure of all their terms and conditions but you might want to look into it...

  2. Any reviews on the Billie boot? I wanted ankle boots with high heels to wear with dresses and skirts in the office (i work in a business casual youngish office), but I don't know if they'd look "right" since the shaft maybe too high for my 4'11" self.

    Any comments would be appreciated!

    1. I currently own the English Saddle Billie Boot and just ordered the Black leather pair with the promo. I really like them. I do wish they were a half inch shorter in the heel just for everyday wear but they are easy to walk in, well made, and very versatile. I think the style is great to dress up or down, even more so than most of the other ankle boots Madewell carries. I plan to try an insole in them to add a bit of comfort when walking. Hope this helps!

  3. Possible pricing glitch alert? If you're interested in the black coated high rise skinnies, the Tall size is showing up as $39.99, while Regular and Taller are at $135. The Tall insearm is listed as 30.5, so not out of the question if you cuff 'em if you usually get regular inseams.

    1. I think they caught this unfortunately - I can't find them in Tall anymore, just regular and taller. Bummer. Wish I had seen your comment sooner. Thank you for sharing!

    2. I still see it on my laptop - but not when browsing the site on my phone. Sizes 24 and 30 still available.

  4. Was a little bummed to see two of the new-color Transport bags I bought a few weeks ago with the increased student discount on sale this time around - I got the bags personalized, so I can't return them, and Madewell CS said they couldn't honor an exception for a price adjustment because my ship date was 13 days ago, and therefore outside of the 7-day PA window. I was a little irritated with myself for not having waited to buy the bags, but I really love those new leather shades, and it's nice to see them at a lower price - so infrequent!
