  1. Although I didn't find the clothes in the October catalog all that interesting, I did find the use of the location very impressive. This, not necessarily the clothes, reminded me of my feelings about old J.Crew catalogs.

  2. I am loving that everything I have on today is three years old and still looks fabulous. Collection Antiqued floral top, Andie chinos and the calf hair ballets with the gold tee strap chain and two nice quality statement necklaces layered. All this was right before the bottom of the quality fell out. Please bring back some beautiful prints, nice quality fabric and clothes that actually fit like they should. I wish they would bring back the Andie chino but I am sure the quality would not be the same. I have almost every color and I am holding on tightly.

    1. Sniff sniff, the Andie chino. I grew out of all my pairs (I had MANY) & sold them on Poshmark. I haven't been able to find any in my current size! I have the tank in the antiqued floral & it has held up so well. I love that print.

    2. I'm also in the Andie chino fan club. Today I'm wearing an adorable pink linen blend blazer with 3/4 sleeves from Summer 2009, which I got on Poshmark last spring. It is fully lined. It looks great and fits like a dream in typical size.

I need to lose about 8lbs before I can get back into my Antiqued Floral pants - your post was a good reminder how much I love that print and need to wear those pants again :)

  3. Doodle, I LOVE the Andie chino. I have three colours and would happily purchase more if they were made again! But, like you, I fear that the quality would not be the same.

  4. Andie Chino lover here, too. I also have three colors and would buy more if they were made the same in terms of quality and fit.

  5. I have my andies tucked away - need to lose a couple inches for them to fit well again! I also really loved them!

  6. I had a few minutes to kill so I did the Bizrate survey after my JCrew purchase on Tuesday. In the comments I said that I'd like to see product measurements on the website. Lo and behold, the next day o received an email from JCrew with the measurements of the item I'd bought! It's nice to know that someone is actually reading, and more importantly, responding to the feedback.

  7. Not a fan of the new Freak Out Price, but I love J. Crew is heading back towards some of the old style skirts with the tweed houndstooth mini and the Sailor skirt. Unfortunately, I'm on a spending freeze until October.

  8. The Double Cloth Lady Coat Thinsulate in Cornflower blue is stunning. I sized up one to a 6T. Seriously, this color rocks!
