  1. Happy Monday, JCAs!

Now that final sale is back (uggggh), just a reminder that the first day that an item is marked down (for example, the striped Tippis or tie-front silk top) it will not be final sale, but the next day it will be. So if you're looking to try anything - with free ship, no minimum it's a good day to do so.

  2. I always check the website first thing in the morning, glad I did. I got the perfect shirt in fern printed Indian cotton in cabernet with the reduced price and free shipping I am happy, it was about $25.00. My size had been sold out but it was back up this morning. I think this will be a nice shirt to get through early fall since our temps are still in the 90's and I am really loving the cabernet and pink combo for fall. Also, I went all out at my local store this weekend. I picked up a pair of Sammie pants in British Khaki, two pair of Sammie cords, pale rose and masala chai, leopard coin purse for my Signet bag, paisley bandana in frosted taupe and a pair of Gemma cap toe flats. They honored the online promo of 25% off and 15% off bounce back and I also got two $25.00 gift cards which helped off set the price. I actually bought the calf hair coin purse with the gift cards. I really needed pants and I love all of these. I wanted to wait until they went on sale but I was happy with the price and not having to wait. This will be pretty much it for me for a while from retail but I will be visiting the clearance store again this weekend.

    1. Quick question on the Sammie cords, how do they fit? TTS? Reviews are mixed... I take 4 in martie and 2p in suit pants.... thanks for your help....

    2. I got my regular size. I really like these, says that they are machine washable. Length is not an issue for me, I am on the taller side, 5'7". I haven't worn them yet so I don't know if they will stretch but they fit just right for now. TTS. I would love to get the dutch blue pair next.

    3. DD, we're the same height (& I think the same size, if I am remembering past posts correctly!). What kind of shoe are you pairing with the Sammie cords?

  3. I have been eyeing the Chelsea Boots (03002) since trying them on a few weeks ago. They're on sale for.....wait for it.....eight dollars off full price! Ugh.

    1. Well that does make them eligible for the additional 30% off if that helps.

  4. Has anyone been to the B&M today? I'm wondering if sale is still 40% off in store . . .

    1. Yes, stores are 40 off, here in NYC, went today, sale section is small, but I ordered cashmere ruffle polo via the store and they matched 40% off. Worked for me because I was able to avoid tax. Still little pricey... but I been eyeing for a while.

    2. Thanks, Kate. Would love to hear a review of the cashmere ruffle polo when you get it. Really like the looks of it online.

    3. Will do!!' I love easy tops for work.... but it's been challenging to care for the cashmere, lots of pilling.... but I figured it out I think, washing more often and light brushing after really helps, almost makes it softer....will update you all once I get the polo....

  6. I hope the free shipping carries through the week....wonder if one of the days will be 50% off sale???/

    1. Yes, they either need some fresh cuts or go to 50%, some of the stuff has been sitting there for months at the same price, and in at least one case, still showing a full size run. It's bad when the fall gingham stuff moves to sale while the stuff from spring is still there.

    2. I am thinking Friday will be the sale day.... will wait.... nothing is really burning. Would be nice to get a price adjustment for the cashmere polo I bought. Some new sale items today, but final sale.

  7. Posted a review of the duffle coat in plaid on my Insta @sartorialchoices - included in the promo today. Size down one if you're petite.
Also, if you're thinking about the navy or blush pink peacoat (not the majesty, but the other): the pink is as pictured. Still more of a duller pink being in double cloth. Piping is nice. Though it's not piped on the little cuff straps, which makes no sense (like an incomplete painting). Fits true to size.

    1. You're the best, maqsad! I had the duffle coat in my wishlist but I can't do drop shoulders (haaaaate, they make me look like a linebacker) and thanks for mentioning it's not 100% wool. Always glad to see an IRL image of something I'm curious about.

    2. Aw! Glad I could help. The drop shoulders are definitely a strong style question mark! Hoping to get the pink tweed from NAP today, in case you all can preorder with La Crew. 😘

  8. Hi ladies! What are your thoughts in regards to the City Trench in nut brown, love the color, but I'm only 5'3 and it seems it runs large, I'm normally a size 10 in coats, do you guys suggest going to a size 8? No petite sizing available.

    1. Anna Maria, Ina reviewed this trench on her IG (inawonderland5). The color is so rich and beautiful!

    2. I'm also petite at 4'11" and needed to size down for this one. (It's still long on me, but that's only because I'm so short.) The fit is roomy. Great color and the lining is so pretty!

    3. 2 sizes. I usually take a 4P in blazers and the Lady Coat, a 2 in my old peacoat, but for this coat I sized down to a 00, which is not my usual size for coats. I think trench coats might run slightly roomier on account of layering and whatnot.

    4. im eyeing the city trench too. does anyone have it in the green?

  9. The stripe-blocked boatneck tee (navy & white stripes) was marked down to sale but not yet final sale (likely will be final sale tomorrow). I def recommend this one if you're ok with the shorter length. It is thicker than the usual boatneck tee but not as thick as some sweatshirts although it reminds me more of sweatshirt weight. The quality is nicely done and I love the different stripes. I'm 5'7" so it is a bit cropped on me (I wear a tank under it) but it's supposed to be shorter. I took my smaller size Xs and it looks like the model pic in that it's a little slouchy. I could've sized down to Xxs in the body but I needed the length in Xs. Very comfy to wear and a nice weight for fall. Surprised it's already on sale. I bought mine in store so I know stores may have it.
