  1. This is a good promo! I need to see if some of the items on my wish list is not excluded. Happy shopping Alexis and JCAs!

  2. Grrr. Of course, I JUST placed a big order with them this past Tuesday! I'll see if they might honor a price adjustment (I've never ordered online with them before) but I'm not hopeful (since it says it's not applicable on previous purchases). Oh well, can't hurt to try, I guess.

BTW, I've seen many JCAs go on about the wonder of Madewell denim so I decided to try a pair -- wow! You guys weren't kidding, I'm hooked! The best pair I've ever owned, even at full price.

    1. JCrew and JCrew Factory email customer service have always been very good about prompt price adjustments within the time frame noted on the website, so I imagine Madewell would be the same. I've had price adjustments granted one day past the window as well.

    2. Also should mention that they count the days from ship date (when you're charged) rather than when you place the order.

    3. @Renee, thank you for the info! I quite agree that CS at JC and Factory are very good about adjusting prices, I so appreciate that about them. I tried asking for a PA with my Madewell order, but it turns out 1 of my item does not qualify, as it is excluded from the promo. anyway (*sad trombone*) Oh well, I'm quite happy with my purchase nonetheless!

    4. You should still have gotten an adjustment on the other items. I had placed an order earlier this week; one item qualified, the other didn't and they adjusted the price on the one that did. Madewell is very good about PAs.

    5. @violetk, Oh how strange! Thank you for this information because now I will call again. I ordered the button-down denim skirt for $88 and it qualifies under the new promo, but the rep told me that both of the items I ordered needed to qualify in order to be eligible. Let me call again tonight, can't hurt to try. The rep that took my call put me on hold, so maybe she didn't know and received the wrong information.

      Thanks again!!

    6. @violetK, they went ahead and gave me a PA as a one-time courtesy b/c my one item was excluded and had ordered the skirt solely (@ $88) it wouldn't have qualified for this particular promo on its own, which I understand, so that was really nice of them! (I was actually all ready to throw in those gold criss-cross sandals, have a pair from last year that I love.)

In any case, thanks for your information b/c it helped me. JCAs rock!

    7. @TM93 I'm so glad it worked out for you. I don't understand their logic tho bc the promo seems to be any order over either $100 or $200 so it shouldn't matter whether an item doesn't qualify since its price goes towards the total.

  3. Haven't bought anything from Madewell in quite a while. Decided to order a couple of things I've been eying. Courier shirt, my first one. Hope I like the fit. Tilson shorts and a pair of earrings.

I'm curious which Madewell jeans you decided to try @TM93. I've never tried any, but am tempted. The pair on my wishlist is excluded from this promo, though. Hope you can get a price adjustment!

    1. @maryeb, thanks! I recently bought the Skinny Skinny jeans in Sunnyside Wash, I believe that's the right name. They felt so comfortable and seemed to move nicely, contouring to your body in a flattering way. I've just purchased the same style in the Quincy Wash, but unfortunately these are not part of the sale so I didn't qualify for a PA. (I also ordered the button-down denim skirt in Mia Wash, now sold out. I tried it in stores and liked it a lot, but it's a bit high-waisted and my size was sold out. The next size down felt too tight in the waist and this item doesn't seem to have too much stretch.)

      Hope you enjoy your items!

    2. Ditto on the skinny skinny. I was pleased with the way it hugs my flat booty. Hehe. It fits tts for me at least.
      Prefer it from j.crew jeans.

  4. I'm stocking up on their Whisper t-shirts. They're so soft! I got a hole in one a few weeks ago (totally my fault) and I checked with them about honoring the price so I could buy a new one, and they refunded me for the one that had a hole and expedited a new one at the original price. Totally not necessary. Great customer service! -lep33shops

  5. As soon as I saw the e-mail, I went straight to their website and got the Daryl K. purse I've had my eye on for awhile.

  6. I was VERY surprised to realize this morning that the cambridge satchel bags are included in the promotion. when they launched last year, they were excluded from every single promo madewell did. I wonder if it's because only three styles are still in stock on madewell's website and they just want to clear out all of them? either way, I was really surprised.
