"Looking to VENT" with J.Crew

This is the weekly "Looking to VENT with J.Crew" post, a place to share our not-so-stellar experiences with J.Crew.

If you have recently experienced a frustrating situation with J.Crew, maybe you might be willing to share that information with us in this post.

Please feel free to share your story on almost any topic— including poor experiences with purchases & orders, promotions/ offers, in-store visits, transactions with store associates, etc.

  1. flip flopping % off sale site .

  3. I don't think I'm alone in thinking that J Crew has seemed boring recently. Part of that is the styling on the website.

Many of the models look alike and have their straight, long, scraggly hair parted in the middle. And all the tops and jackets are paired with jeans in the photos rather than skirts or pants. I realize that this makes for an efficient and less expensive photo shoot, but the whole thing comes across as a snooze fest.

  4. 2015 Q4 sales down again:;_ylt=AwrC1DErK.tWrHUAwyvQtDMD;_ylu=X3oDMTByOHZyb21tBGNvbG8DYmYxBHBvcwMxBHZ0aWQDBHNlYwNzcg--

  5. Ewww...I got the party line.

"I see that we have waived your shipping several times in the past, so I would typically not be able to honor your request today. However, I'll make the exception for you today."

That doesn't create a good shopping feeling, J. Crew. I've spent a lot of money with you. I usually order over the $150 min online and take the Economy Shipping. Throw me a Standard Shipping bone for free. I can't even remember the last time I asked for a free shipping upgrade.

Dear J.Crew Aficionadas & Aficionados: Please feel free (and encouraged) to share your thoughts and opinions. :) However, please note that this is still a personal blog.
