Cricket...cricket...Just kidding! Just want to give the SAs at U Village and Bellevue a shout out. Friendly, helpful, really "jumped" to your requests and questions. And they know our names! Rose and I don't even go that often!
ReplyDeleteYes, they are all very nice at these 2 sites. Also extremely nice are the Madewell SAs and managers there.
DeleteLOVE that J Crew is offering more and more items in XXS in the stores. It's very helpful for those of us who are vertically challenged! :)

ReplyDeleteI'm happy to see the tortoise hair accessories have returned to the website. I use these a lot and they are great ride-a-longs that also make nice little gifts. The quality of these are still excellent IMO. Made in France of acetate resin, they are strong enough to actually hold my thick hair and they don't crack and fall apart like the cheap ones from the drugstore.
Hopefully these ones are better made, because the ones I got last year snapped on my second use.
Deletexoxo, I agree with you! I LOVE the tortoise hair accessories. I have quite a collection and they do make great ride alongs! Now if they'd only bring back the wide fabric covered headbands. I really miss those.
ReplyDeleteJCrewJD - Banana Republic has some wide fabric colored headbands that are quite preppy & cute. They may be in-store only, merchandised in acrylic vases alongside the merchandise.
DeleteSince I had a rant this week I thought it only fair to also give JC some love. I have had 2 different situations over the last 2 weeks when I wanted to order online but had a problem with sizes or shipping. The CS reps that helped me were really great- they were so pleasant and willing to go above and beyond to make sure I got my items. So nice to see that good customer service still exists!

Not sure if this is the right place to mention this but, I have to note that Maya Rudolph was wearing the Lillian Dress in tonight's episode of Up All Night. She looked fabulous! It's always exciting to see J Crew on celebrities (even when it's just a character on TV).
ReplyDeleteTamara, I saw that too. She looked stunning in that dress. The garden shade floral is such a beautiful print especially on the dress. (I only wish the skirt had the same print.) I also think her assistant was wearing the calvalry twill skirt and Meredith on the Office was wearing the fair isle vest.
ReplyDeleteI had an order placed last week, quite literally the night before they sent the email for 30% off the final sale (I know, why would I ever buy sale items without a promo code?). I had several final sale items in my purchase and when I called customer service they were happy to do a one time adjustment on it. Saved me some serious money, and although I know they won't do it regularly, it reminded me why I shop at J.Crew!
