It's that time again, to take a look at an image of J.Crew pieces from seasons past! As caribbelle (in this post) so beautifully termed, "ye olde j crew of yore".
The Flamenco-dot Marguerite Dress (Item 93603; $315.00) from J.Crew is one of my favorite dresses. The over-sized flamenco dots ("lunares" or "little moons" in Spanish) print is perfection!
What are your thoughts on the look(s)/item(s) from the past? Do you find the look(s)/item(s) classic or do you think they are dated?
Very pretty! The print looks identical to the dress I blogged about here.
ReplyDeleteI weep because the dress and the shoes are perfection. I want to petition to bring it back!!
ReplyDeleteI Love that dress!!! For my body type I like it even better then the polka dot dress is out in the stores now. Please bring it back!!
ReplyDeletei always thought this dress was adorable, though i am usually not a fan of thin straps like that!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite dresses of all time. I finally found one last year and wore it to a wedding where I received many compliments. It is so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI like this print, but the cut looks a little maternity to me..
ReplyDeleteI remember trying this dress on and thinking that I looked adorable....like a six year old. lol. Loved the print though, too bad that cut doesn't suit me.
ReplyDeleteLove the print!!!
ReplyDeleteI had a similar issue ("maternity silhouette") with the cut of the Martine "School of Fish" dress that were solved by wearing a wide sash round the waist...
Love the print, but agreed -- I had other dresses with similar cuts and eventually had to Ebay them, because goodness I'm a size 0/2 and people would ask if I was expecting. Not yet, thanks! In a shift or a dress with a slightly less abundant skirt, the print would be fantastic.
ReplyDeleteSorry I'm probably one of the few people who really dislike the shape of that dress, it just makes you look pregnant. The print is adorable though but for someone young.
