Well I had the Frances cami in the lavender color in by shopping bag at 69 dollars but it's now back up to 88 bucks as of this morning. Sneaky j crew! boo!!
ReplyDeleteHooray! I'm thankful for the extra 20% and the free shipping offer. Now if only they would really update their sale section....

ReplyDeletesorry scratch my last comment- it was weird when i did EXTRA20 w/ normal priced items it just gave free shipping...
ReplyDeleteI'm looking at it right now, and it seems like you have to have a regular priced item in your order to get the free shipping along with the EXTRA20, because when I do the EXTRA20 w/OUT a regular priced item in my cart- no free shipping!!! . . . This is really confusing!
ReplyDeleteI placed an order early this morning (before I knew about the EXTRA20). I just called CS and they are going to honor the Extra 20% off by issuing me a gift card for the difference. Thank you, J Crew!! And thank you everyone in this post who shared the EXTRA20 code!!
ReplyDeletemeh. there isn't enough in the sale section to get me up to the 150 and i am not buying anything without free shipping.
ReplyDeletehopefully there is a pretty decent restock around the corner.
spy serge trench coat!! any idea if it is a warm material? or is it more of a fall coat?
ReplyDeletei was able to use the 20% on sale items without any problems. i used it to get the questionable tissue stone necklace tee in weathered stone...with the price reduction, 20% off and the fs promo that popped up when i logged into my account, i couldn't resist. Wahooooo!!!!
ReplyDeleteStacy,
ReplyDeleteI agree.....
I don't think there's enough in the Sale section that I want. Right now my cart is full of items for my Hubby's Christmas presents, and they're all FP.
ReplyDeleteI love all the codes, but at this point I've grabbed everything from sale I was interested in. A code on full price items would be very tempting for me.
ReplyDeleteI reordered everything from this morning's purchase (both Jeweled garland bracelet colors, Multistrand fireball necklace), plus added the Cossette Mary Janes in black. I gor 20% off plus FS. I'll just return my entire order from this morning when I receive it. :-)
ReplyDeleteI used the EXTRA20 to get the Tivoli Boiled Wool Cardigan in Amber Grey and the Scalloped stripe scarf. I liked the way Bigger Closet styled this sweater in a recent post on her blog, so I thought I'd give it a try. Love the amber color. Didn't get free shipping on this deal b/c I didn't have any full price stuff in my cart. Happy Thanksgiving all you JCA's!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteJust got a price adjustment on my order from this morning, even though, as a result of the coupon, I didn't make the minimum. Yay for J Crew's customer service agents (or at least yay for Jane!)
ReplyDeleteI ordered the wool twill pants, colorblock cardigan, ruffled hem sundress, and the collier tee. Oh, and nail polish to qualify for the fs, lol.
ReplyDeleteEverything ends in .99, but nothing is marked final sale, so I hope I can return anything that doesn't fit (I'm a bit worried about the pants and sundress being too big).
Also, I'm still hoping in vain that the stadium cloth belted coat or Friday coat will go on sale. Then I think I'll be done for the fall/winter season :)
meh. I couldn't get anywhere near $150. Things looked pretty picked through, as well - I was hoping for some other items to pop up, such as some of the patterned skirts or perfect pencil skirt in some of its colors.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, I was planning on getting the Stardust skirt yesterday only to see it sold out - now some are back, but not my size. Would it be better to call customer service, or to go to my local B&M (which isn't stocking it) and ask them to find and ship me one? I'd prefer to avoid the mall this weekend but am willing to do it for the skirt.
Cherry Bomb, someone did a review on that coat a while back and IIRC she said that it was not super warm--more of a fall coat.
ReplyDeleteLike Patina, I also ordered the tissue stone t, which I was waiting to go below $50 before ordering. It's been sitting in the sale section forever; I bet a lot of other people were waiting for the next price drop too.
ReplyDeleteAlso got 2 prs of shoes for half the orginal price, the ivory evie for $16, and the merino ethereal cardi. I did not have any FP items in my order and it did give me FS plus the 20% off. I held out ordering after this morning's update since I knew they were going to have to have some sort of % off for t-giving. Luckily everything I wanted was still in my cart!
I already have the Tivoli Boiled Wool Cardigan in charcoal/black and I've been eyeing the amber/grey, so I was excited to see it marked down this morning PLUS the code for 20% off & free shipping! The Tivoli cardigan is soft and comfy but still structured-looking, so it's perfect for the office. My only complaint is the shedding. I wore it with a white shirt last week and had black lint all over the shirt.
ReplyDeleteBTW, it's not necessary to buy a full priced item to get free shipping. My cart was 100% sale items. Just make sure your total is >$150 AFTER the coupon is applied.
Amanda- I noticed a bunch of Stardust skirts on ebay this morning! I think someone in another post said they thought the fabric on it was pretty thin, though.
ReplyDelete@Jeanne- you're right, maybe that was my problem . . .I haven't placed my order yet but I will keep that in mind when I do. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOT...It is a long shot , I know, but still....If you see the Beaded ribbon-front top, item 19176, in the stores in size 2 could you please, please put it on hold for Diana and let me know at dianastoica at hotmail dot com. Thank you!

ReplyDeleteIs it OK if I only commit to Cyber Monday for shopping? Holiday shopping kind of terrifies me. Is there an official fear of that?
ReplyDeletethe had a bunch of the darker stardust skirts at my B&M at towson last week.
ReplyDeletejust a fyi
Hi All.. I was thinking of ordering the wool cashmere station coat..does anyone have it ? Could anyone throw some light on it..
ReplyDeleteThanks for the code! I did manage to stack up enough things in my cart to get the free shipping, too. The Olive top finally went on sale!
ReplyDeleteI'm not exactly sure where to post this, but I think it's a J Crew first: the perfect pencil skirt is now offered in Tall sizes. Since I'm almost six feet tall, I hope J Crew continues down this road. Hopefully the minis, which are too mini for me, will be next. Go J Crew!
ReplyDeleteIf I still had clothing money leftover for the year, I'd be biting at this offer. I've had the Amber Tivoli cardi and the DS pencil skirt (tropical aqua) in my cart for a while now. Someone let me live vicariously through them! :)
ReplyDeleteanyone know how the Nanno cardi runs? TTS? thanks!
ReplyDeletest,
ReplyDeleteJCrew used to offer tall shorts as well. I have about 6 pairs from around 2003ish time frame. Still going strong....good quality chino fabric and pretty colors from that time.
Grr, I couldn't get a price adjustment on my order from this am, since I got a one time adjustment earlier this fall, so I reordered. Black Cosettes, a Jaspe long sleeve polo for DH, a few CC goodies for DD. I also got the origami CC necklace (probably for me) so I'll just return the entire order I placed earlier.
ReplyDeleteJeanne, thanks for the comments about the Tivoli Boiled Wool Cardigan. Not happy to hear about the shedding problem, but glad that you think it makes a nice sweater for the office. I also didn't realize that the total needs to be $150 or more AFTER the discount. Sneaky, J. Crew, very sneaky. Grrrr....
ReplyDeleteMeh. An e-mail offer to buy a really average-looking bag at full price, and 20% off FS with absolutely nothing in it that I really want. And earlier in the week, a bad experience with the cheap glitter minaudiere shedding all over me at my office party! Not much to be thankful for this year for this JCA!
ReplyDeleteCheesy:
ReplyDeleteI think you deserve a price adjustment if you placed an order early this morning. I had the same issue last week where they would not honor the additional 20% off considering they sent out the email just 2 hrs after I placed the order. I argued that if the promo started the SAME as my order date it is NOT considered a previous order. If JC is going to get all strict about price adjustments then they should right in fine print when the promo starts as they do with the expiration time and date.
I placed an order this morning too before the code and hopefully JC will do a price adjustment...we'll see how they respond to my email.
I just can't reorder some of the items since they no longer have it.
Nice promo - hope they update the sale section over the next few days. There must be some merch coming back from the B&Ms with all the holiday rollouts.
ReplyDeleteSure would be nice to get some awesome Thanksgiving deals J.Crew.
Thank you for this code! I just got the tortoise shell pumps and gold bow flats...love and saved almost $100 :)!!
ReplyDeleteThere are a couple of items that I'm hoping pop back during this sale. If they come back, then I'll also order the olive top (I've wanted to try this top since it first came out) and the multistrand fireball necklace which I've seen and love.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone is looking for a ride-along to hit the $150 after discount, you may want to consider the wool-blend ribbed tights #87970 @$26.50. I have them and they are really nice. Made in Italy, 60% nylon, 35% wool, 5% spandex. Super comfortable, no itch from the wool, streamlined look and really warm. Very well made, they still looked brand new after two wears and handwashes.
ReplyDeleteWore them for a third time today with a denim mini, Glenbrae flat boots, turtleneck sweater and peacoat. Will definitely add another pair or two to my cart on the next order and stock up if they go on sale later in the season.
There are lots of hidden items on the site, both hidden sale items and items that I am assuming are coming out in the next rollout. For those interested, you might want to do general term searches. Nothing I saw excited me but I have to admit, despite my reticence about JCrew bags, I'm liking the new Grandma chain tote! I wish it came in better colors.
ReplyDeleteHeidi, basically you have to know what you are looking for. For example, the Pearl-cluster necklace is on sale for $75 (has been for a while) but it doesn't appear in the sale section. If you search for "pearl-cluster" it will come up (and of course the 20% will apply). HTH!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for posting! I finally snagged a Maya cardi that I've been pining for - as well as a couple pairs of Juliets. The extra 20 and free shipping pushed me over the edge!
ReplyDeleteDoes anybody know how sizing at martin+osa compares to jcrew? I wear xs at jcrew, looked at martin
ReplyDelete+osa sizing chart and it seems like I should go with S. Any advice?

ReplyDeleteThe Cotton denim safari jacket is back online in all sizes, and on sale $79.99.
ReplyDeleteElena, I size up from my J. Crew size at M&O. I find M&O runs smaller generally. I am XS and 2 usually in J. Crew, and I buy S and 4 in M&O usually.
ReplyDeleteDesert Flower, thank you!
