ReplyDeleteI just want to send out major kudos to VPS Shannon Ellis, whom I met via the lovely Rynetta, for being an amazing help during the holiday season finding items, helping me pick out stuff for my boyfriend and friends and generally being so pleasant and helpful. I absolutely adore the VPS service and Shannon is the BEST.
ReplyDeleteA VPS named Shannon helped me yesterday. I didn't catch her last name. She was supposed to email me so I don't have her contact, but she said she's off until Sunday. That would be funny if it was the same person.

DeleteLooking back on 2016, I purchased less but I love nearly everything that I added to my closet from. J Crew. I chose carefully - mostly coats and shoes as we have discussed previously - but I found plenty of special pieces that have the quality level I want. It was a better year for me at J Crew than in the past few. I'm sad to see that the nicer offerings haven't resulted in improved business results. Maybe 2017 will be the year!
ReplyDeleteSort of a vent...but sort of a love...J. Crew had some great holiday clothes this year and I was in the huge J. Crew yesterday and they had a huge sale section with all of the stuff i liked newly marked down yet somehow they only had teeny sizes left like xxxs and xxs..and a few very large sizes. I wear Xs and S so I was unable to buy anything because those sizes were nowhere to be found with most of the clearance stuff.

DeleteThis is a love for Madewell's insider program. I'm at the highest level (oops) and I love the free expedited shipping. I am so much more likely to order something knowing I can see and try on in two to three days. Plus free return shipping. I wish more retailers would do this for high spending customers (or do an annual subscription for expidided shipping). I hate waiting a week to a week and a half just to see if I even like an item.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds awesome. Here in Canada the wait can be closer to two weeks now that Borderfree is doing the shipping. I miss when it was UPS; so much quicker than Canada Post.

DeletePicked up a three secret wash men's shirts in slim over the past week and a half. Hands down for the money (either full pop or on sale) these are the best quality and best fitting shirts. Compared to Tommy, BR, Club Monaco or Gap none come close except for the Polo slim.
ReplyDeleteConsidering I snagged two this week on sale for $32 a pop compared to $92 I'm very pleased.
My husband really likes these, as well as Ludlows, for fit and pattern. Those are great sale prices!!
DeleteMy husband likes these too and I've been impressed with the quality. He just picked up a gingham secret wash shirt the other day on sale and i loved the little details on it as well as the overall quality.
Delete@jan, OMG, I kept lobbying my husband to try that one, but he was skeptical at first. I persevered and he ended up buying and really liking it! (Humph!) Agree that the quality and price point are great!
Delete@TM93, that's too funny! My husband actually picked it out himself he was sitting on the couch in the store waiting for me but atleast he found a couple of things to buy. :)
