Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SPRING & SUMMER sale, or to see some new SUMMER arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. I plan on stopping by the San Francisco Centre store on Saturday when I'm in the city...hoping to find lots of goodies!! =)

  2. n.b. huge sale update this morning... 1100+ results... predictably after promo is over :)

    ReplyDelete
  3. I second Molly! Seriously hate that JC plays these end-of-promo-update games...

    ReplyDelete
  4. I too am frustrated by the sale update after the promo. Finally spotted a bunch of small items I want (hello, "old" favorite tank before they became thin and grew holes on the first wearing) but to pay $8.50 shipping on some tank tops with no promo just kills the deal. Oh well, I guess I'll have to hold onto my money for now...

    ReplyDelete
  5. And, some things got marked down: the feather weight bling button cardis are back to their promo price. grrr! And the falling ruffles tank which I'm curious about finally got marked down. Anybody tried this yet?

I am headed down this morning, hoping to find some goodie marked down to cheap! Wonder if they still have 30% in stores?

    ReplyDelete
  6. math teacher, please report back and let us know! I too am considering checking out my B&M at lunchtime... I find better deals and at least I can try things on!

  7. Hopefully I can make it to a store this weekend.
Ever since my closest JC closed down last month I haven't stepped foot on one in 3 weeks!

  8. J Crew, I'm a coming for you on Sunday. Be ready. I like sales. I take a size 6 or 8. Have lots of items in my size please.

    P.S. I know, I'm a nerd. But I've never been in a B&M store before.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Have fun KDot! Hopefully they'll have plenty for you!!

  10. I'll be returning the Demetra heels unfortunately.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Came back last night from the B&M and they had the Torque moto cardigan in the dark slate color marked $29.99 after the the 30% it would be around $21 - not bad if u need it! ;) (yeah, like it is nearing 100 degrees here in the south!).

  12. I'm looking for the cashmere zipper cardigan in a small or medium, any color. If anyone sees it in their store, please let me know! TIA

  13. I'm hoping to browse in Connecticut (Westfarms, maybe?) or possibly NYC while passing through this weekend, but the possibility of either is slim. I'm sad to say my daddy suffered a heart attack on Monday and he's not doing too well (scheduled for quintuple bypass next week) ... so I felt like I should fly up and see him, so in case anything bad happens I won't be left with regrets.

Part of my reason for going is to try to be a good distraction for my mom, so I am hoping to get her out a little...and she knows when I come to town, that usually means shopping! :-D Last time I visited, I trolled the sale racks with her in tow and bought her some super cute stuff for cheap, and she was so excited. Hard to buy for her in absentia, as she's teeny tiny but with a big chest, so you never know which shirts will / won't fit.

    Happy weekend to all!

  14. @Elaine: I'm sorry to hear about your father. Hope everything goes well.
My father-in-law is battling liver cancer and has been in and out of the hospital last week. And I've been driving them to Dr.'s visits... Thus explains why I haven't stepped into a mall in 3 weeks.

  15. JCAs, I am hoping to find the crackled copper pencil skirt in a size 4. If you see one at your B&M, please, please put it on hold and let me know! Thanks in advance! :-)

KDot, have a wonderful time shopping, and Elaine, prayers that your dad recovers soon!

  17. If anyone sees the Metallic moss jacquard skirt 23001(in a size 0)... can you let me know please? TIA :)

I just did a phone order with a store in WI & she said they are moving stuff as Fall things are coming in today! (BTW-I picked up the bow top in both colors, the breakers plaid shirt and a buffalo plaid scarf all for 41$ yowzee.) Happy shopping ladies!

  18. @jcrewphd, that's terrible. I'm very sorry to hear that. :-/ Remember to take time for yourself to recharge -- it will put you in a better place to be even more helpful to your family. Hang in there! :-)

  19. Hi Shop316, I saw a cashmere zip cardigan in the peachy color in size M yesterday at the Prince Street Soho store in NYC. The price has been reduced to $69.99 plus the 30% off!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Just back from my b&m, they are already putting a few new fall items out. I bought a scattered sequin tee - had to size down. A couple of years ago, I use to be a large in JC tees (b/c of my broad shoulders and larger chest); today, I bought a small. I haven't gotten any smaller! Anyway, I didn't see a whole lot that was reduced in price, unless they just hadn't marked yet. Plenty of the shiny green skirts - 19.99 and the fluerette skirts. A couple of impressionist skirts. Lots of skimmers in gray and green. Some ballet flats, but none in my size so didn't check the price; however, the lady in front bought a pair of the dip-dyed leather ballet flats and they were 29.99 before the 30%. Zillions of tees - didn't check styles, sizes, or prices. :) The tissue sequin tanks are 24.99, but it fit wierd and therefore wasn't comfy. Starland tank is 49.99 or 59.99 and they had a couple. That's all I can remember.

New items - the tee I bought, dark green jeggings (yuck!!! JC calling them toothpicks, but they fit nothing like my other toothpicks and they were LONG), cute sleeveless top with eyelet ruffle down front and around neck in ivory and a rust color, new henley with only 2 buttons in cute muted colors. That's it that I can remember - possibly some new jewelry, saw a bracelet I like that's not online yet.

Karen, they had tons of the shiny green jacquard skirt, but I'm not sure of the size. Call the Charleston, SC store (843-534-1643). My ps is Billy and Libby is the store manager. Good luck!

  21. Pretty unexciting sale section right now at 45th & Madison in NYC... mostly graphic/adorned tees and a few other random items mixed in. Saw a bunch of the fleurette cami but it wasn't doing much for me on the hanger - not to mention it looks like it runs huge! I do miss the days when I could fit into JC camis without having to order petites.

Very nearly bought the Sequin falls cardigan for about $49 after the 30% off but that still seemed like a lot for such a flimsy summer sweater I can only wear for a month or two longer so I passed. Kinda proud of myself for exhibiting willpower :)

Looks like I'm officially ready for fall!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Dara-me too, I placed my last online order yesterday, and was happy to put the spring/summer sale-stalking in my past.
    Math Teacher-thanks for the report!!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Dara, I felt the same way about the fleurette cami until the SA talked me into trying it on. I am really small on top and the 0 fit me fine. It looked WAY better than on the hanger and looks fantastic with a cardigan so I can wear into fall. It is definitely a top you need to try on because it looks sad, sad, sad on the hanger. Could not wear the eyelet bow blouse, though. The sleeves stuck out something awful on me; even for $14.99 AND another 30% off, I had to pass on that one.

    ReplyDelete
  24. @Dara, the Sequin Falls cardigan was 39.99 before the 30% off at my store. Strange to be such a difference in price! I bought it for around 27 and change after the discount. Also caved and got the Torque Moto cardigan for 21.00 - now all I need is cooler weather.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Jean, thanks for letting me know! Unfortunately, I just called and they're already sold out. If anyone else sees one, please put it on hold for me. Thanks so much!

    ReplyDelete
  26. This may be a long shot, but if someone sees a Castillo Eyelet Cami in a 0 at their B&M, could you put it on hold and email me? jackieta89@gmail.com Thanks so much!

    ReplyDelete
  27. my mom is a store in Grapevine, TX and the sale stuff is additional 40%! sale pencil skirts are additional $10 off.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Is the ivory torque moto cardigan also on sale for $29.99 or is it just the dark indigo color?

    ReplyDelete
  29. @Michelle, the ivory moto cardigan was also 29.99 at my B&M (Wilmington, NC).

    ReplyDelete
  30. The sequin falls cardi was still priced on the tag at 69.99 for the taupe and 79.99 for the navy. Only had small and large or I would have had them price it for me. If you need either size, call the Charleston, SC, store.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Additional 40% off in-store! Oh my, they'd have to call the paramedics to revive me. I'd either pass out from happiness or hurt myself carrying a huge armload of stuff to the dressing room. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  32. Was at the mall for Nordies' anniversary sale and stopped in at j.crew to make returns. When SA asked why I was returning one item, I said because it wasn't cut for petites. Other SA comes over to ooh & aah over item, asks why it's being returned, original SA says "because she's too short." Nice.

I just left, but passed by sale section on way out & would swear sign was still for 30% at this store.

I did have a fab time at Nordies, and got some goodies I'll be waiting to wear. Another 90-degree day here, but hey, who buys into global warming...

    ReplyDelete
  33. Did anyone see the Cotton Wool Ruffle cardi? At my B&M last week it was 30% off of $69. On-line it's now $49. If your store had it, what was it marked? Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  34. My mom is at a conference in Texas and she picked me up some Minnies, tees (in what sounded like garish colors), a belt or two. She was trying to explain the merchandise to me while she shopped and I had her ask an SA about the Minnies. I hope they work, but for $12, it doesn't matter that much!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I picked up the strapless sunshine peony dress, the charcoal colored moto cardi, and a tshirt for $72 and that included tax. Scottsdale Fashion Square has 30% off sale all weekend- but it Final sale. They told me like 4 times! :)

    ReplyDelete
  36. A few new fall things just came into stores today. Among them were some hip boxy sweatshirts with zipper details, and boxy 3/4 sleeve tees and long sleeved Perfect Fit tees in a good selection of colors. I picked up two of the l/s Perfect Fit tees as they're some of my favorite items from J. Crew (you wear them almost year-round here in Seattle, where it was in the 60s most of today, lol). I noticed the quality of the l/s Perfect Fit tees has deteriorated though, even from the Spring selection. The new Fall ones seem slightly more loosely knit and perhaps thinner. Sigh. And the quality already went down from the tees from a few years ago.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I got a fleurette pencil skirt today at the J. Crew in Westfield Topanga for 29.99-30% discount! The price tag said 59.99, but it rang up at the lower price.

They had a some of the smaller sizes and a few in the mid-range as well. I bought the larger of the 2 sizes I wear in pencil skirts.

Lots of minnies, skimmer pants, and tees on sale. They had an oak tweed pencil skirt in a size 8, I believe, in addition to a bunch of cute mini skirts, including the Canterbury bells and Jaipur minis. Lots of good stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Hi Jackie, I remembered seeing the Castillo Eyelet Cami in size 0 at the Prince St. store at Soho in NYC. You can try calling them. They placed the cami on the regular section not the sale section. I think that's why there are still quite many sizes/pieces left in the store....

    ReplyDelete
  39. The Minnies in the B&M that everyone keeps talking about, are you referring to the stretch twill? Are there other colors than the Wild Blackberry on sale there?

    TIA!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Lauren S, I noticed they were marked $49.99 in store today.

Thank you so mch to whomever posted the starfish shorts were down to $19.99!

Anyone see the whether the impressionist skirt has gone below $60 and if there is a 6? :) thanks!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. My daughter and I went to the Domain store in Austin on Fri and she picked up the Island paisley cardi for $27! Sales items are still 30% off in store. There are lots of random tees, chinos , shorts and ballet flats on sale along with a few skirts and jackets(Roses vines blazer , sz2). BTW I returned several final sale items I had ordered: Sand Dune jackie in S and Gingham perfect shirt (Sz2 in dusty shale)....no questions asked. Neither item (or any of the things I kept) were marked final sale (in the checkout process or on the bag or receipt).

May check out Barton Creek (Austin) this weekend to see if sale is still going on.

    ReplyDelete
  42. So weird that some stores have 30% off while others have 40% off final sale...

Wendy, my store had the faded denim minnie pants on sale for $9.99! I'm about to head in to see if they have any left in my size :)

    ReplyDelete
  43. OT - Talbots got new arrivals.... J. Crew better step it up or Talbots will be getting my money this fall. The new pieces remind me of old "Crew." The colors, design... um.. maybe they have an ex-Crew designer?? I'm sooo tired of T-shirts, ruffles - I want the old Crew back!!!

    ReplyDelete
  44. @ Karen - as of early Saturday a.m., the metallic moss jacquard skirt is back online in a 00 and a 2. Not sure if either of these sizes will help you, but thought I'd pass it along. Good luck!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Thanks, Mommydearest! I'm hoping they'll still be one in my size at the store tomorrow :)

    ReplyDelete
  46. We are on holiday, nowhere near a J Crew right now, but I caved and called my local stores (Tysons Galleria in VA, and Montgomery Mall in MD) to place a phone order. Tysons had most of what I wanted, in mid-range sizes (4, 6, 8): the Fleurette pencil skirt 20.99, the Fleurette top 27.99 (? or was it less?), the Starfish shorts 13.99, the Sequin Drizzle tank (I can't remember how much this was, I think $47.99 after 30 per cent off), the Seaside Madras pants 20.99, and a couple of other things I can't remember. BUT I haven't gotten an email from the PS who placed this order so let's see if I actually get these goodies.

The Montgomery Mall store had only the Sequin Falls Cardi in a Medium and the Eyelet bow blouse, and no more Minnies or Torque cardis, so no order from there =( In general, the Tysons store has more selection.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Long shot but if anyone sees tissue garland tanks in their store in any color size XS, please put on hold and post store location here! Thanks.

  48. I was at the Grove, CA yesterday afternoon and they still had a ton of:
    Fringed Tunics in hot pink
Fleurette pencil skirts mostly sz 0
Castillo eyelet cami, mostly sz 2, 6,8
Couple eyelet pencil skirts in navy? in sz 0
Couple impressionist skirts (didn't check size)
Some shorts but mostly sz 6, 8, 10
    Rack full of tees...

Lots of picked over things and didn't have cashmere or Torque sweater I were looking for.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Was it "momoberry" looking for sz 4 Surf Tweed charter skirt?

Also someone else looking for Castillo eyelet cami in sz 0 (last one).

I placed them on hold till closing today so let me know and I'll give you the name I put on hold under.

  50. Tthanks to the huge restock I had to go have a look and I'm considering the Hockney tote. Anyone try this and can offer an opinion? I like the Rhubarb or Orchid Shadow colors.

    TIA

  51. Lake Grove, NY (long island) has 30% off sales items. I got the Vintage zebra-stripe mini (size 00), Drapey wool Mackenzie jacket in bronze clay (size 0), and the Space dyed t-shirt (XS) for $28 each!

They have lots of tees which I don't even skim through anymore.

They have one canterbury bells mini skirt in size 6 for $28 ($39 + 30% off) - too bad won't fit me. One Oak tweed pencil skirt size 8 ($49 + 30%?). Bunch of fleurette pencil skirts in 4, 6, 8 and 10 sizes. A couple of Laporte drape blouse in 4 & 6. They are more but I don't remember their names.

    ReplyDelete
  52. @xoxo: I saw the Hockney tote in the brown color yesterday but hesitated to buy it since it was scratched up quite a bit. The leather is SO soft though. I also like the bronzy metal. It is quite large but if you're in the market for it it's not too bad. HTH!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Even more price discrepancies between stores--the torque moto cardigan rang up $49.99 in store for me even though it's $29.99 in other stores. Just a heads up.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Just wanted to peep in here that the fleurette bow cami is definitely waaay cuter on than it looks hanging. I wouldn't have given it a second look, but the SA had me try it on and I loved it. Has some great olive tones to it that will work well into fall and even winter under layers. At the low price, I might even pull the trigger on the skirt.

  55. EXTRA -30% in Danbury CT

    I scored:

a pair of LAFFITE FLORAL MERCER SHORTS(not sure I ever saw these online but they are the same print as the Fleurette pencil skirt)
    FOR $13.99 (was $58.00 I think)

The CROPPED SEASIDE MADRES ZIPPER PANT
    FOR 20.99 (was $88.00)
*NOTE: these beautys run a bit large, I am ordinraly a 4-6 but found the 2s to be an easy fit.

    and
    The TIRED BRIQUE SKIRT
    FOR $34.99 (was $138.00)
only has 3 sizes left, a 0 a 00 and a 10, I opted for the ten and will have to do a touch of altering, but for that price HOW could I say no?

    ReplyDelete
  56. OH and has anyone been to the Westchester B&M in White plains, any of the NYC stores, or the Albany store?

If so did they seen to have a respectable selection of sale ballet flats?
Spacificly the dip dyed leather ones in a 10?

    Thanks.

has anyone seen the Swann ruffled shirtdress anywere either?

  58. This is not a store find, but a garage sale one! I got a cord JCrew jacket, size 2 for $3. The jacket is in barely worn conditiona, pockets still tacked shut, perfect lining & details... One problem is that I need a tall so the sleeves are a bit short and I'm worried about trying to lengthen the sleeves on a cord jacket. I don't imagine the crease would come out. Can I sort of roll up the sleeves with cord?
Next, it's the exact same color as my velvet JCrew blazer (the one before Eden with the hook-and-eye closure)! Too much of the same sort of army green??

What I do need help with is figuring out what to do with the sleeves as they have 4 leather buttons and are seriously too short for my arms.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Just got an email from Shop It To Me (btw if you don't use this service you really should - it's amazing!) that several items, including the Lightweight Cotton Cottage Skirt went on sale. This skirt is new in stores but 34.50 or 24.99 online, so I went in and snatched up my size before anyone had even touched the selection! Also on sale (or further sale) are the Festival Shell at 49.99 and the Cotton-Wool Ruffled Placket Cardigan (also fairly new) at 49.99, among other things.

  63. 30% off sale in Minnesota, final sale though. I got the Carlyle bracelet I had been lusting after, BUT IN THE COLOR I DIDN'T PREFER. :(

  67. jcrewphd, thanks for the info on the Hockney tote. It does look pretty large and the straps quite long but quite a nice bag from what I can see online. I have been taking quite a few car trips this summer and would like something with more organization options than my uptown tote.

  68. I know this is a long shot, but has anyone seen the bazaar tunic in stores? It popped back online today and it's now on sale (though not in my size, of course). It may be wishful thinking, but it'd be great to get this at an additional 30% off. If anyone has seen it during your shopping adventures, please let me know. Thanks!

  72. Found the trap glass necklace (28116) for $35 (after 30% discount) (still $60 online) and the draped glass necklace (27998) for $28 (still $70 online) -- quite a buy, given the original prices (admittedly OVERpriced!) of $135 and $150!
