Madewell Email: The Biker Boot

Madewell (click here) sent an email earlier this week featuring their Biker Boot. The boots are described as "made to be broken in (the more worn in they get, the better)." and retails for $230.

When it comes to boots, I prefer the offerings over at J.Crew. J.Crew's latest collection offers a cuter version– the Templeton Short Leather Flat Boots (Item 18142; $168.00)– and it costs less too!

Moreover, they are offering 15% off purchases for students at their stores. To redeem the promotion, just show your student ID.

What are your thoughts on the Biker Boot? Do you like or dislike the style? Would you pay $230 for a pair of Madewell boots?

  1. I did (although I used a student discount) and though they may be expensive, I really, really love them! I did see the Jcrew boot online, but I hated the idea of buying it before even really trying it on since my size can vary. With shipping and handling, tax, and no student discount online, it would have been only a little less than the madewell boot. Plus, I think the madewell boot is a little edgier than the jcrew one, and it looks super cute with girly skirts and dresses!

  2. This looks a like a knockoff of n.d.c, fiorentini & baker, adams boots, or Sendra brands, who have all had similar styles like this out for a while. Cute boot and crazy low price compared to the other brands I mentioned.
