I am not getting the link either !!!!!
ReplyDeleteSame here :(
ReplyDeleteI clicked the "start shopping" link and it brought me to the main page. After that I clicked 'Early Access' in the top menu and was able to see the new arrivals.
ReplyDeleteReally super tired of the exact duplicates of items I purchased from retail showing up in factory less than six months later. How about making the items in different colors from what was offered in retail? Is it that hard?
ReplyDeleteI got the link to work just now! I am not sure if J.Crew Factory had a glitch in the system. In any case, it is up and running now.
ReplyDeleteCan someone please post the link? Thanks in advance :-)

ReplyDeleteThank you Anna - so appreciate!!
DeletePicked up three Excursion vests. So glad to see they brought back the double zippers. I was also glad for the extra 20%.
ReplyDeleteFinding a lot I like at Factory today too...and glad for the 20% off (hint, hint Retail...). Picking up the excursion vests in currant and black as well as the navy Emery flats. I wish listed a few items as well but I think priority are some retail items so I have to rank and decide what wins :)
ReplyDeleteI cannot decide if I want another vest or not. I know they go fast and it's a great deal but I'm trying to curb spending. However there are a couple other items that I want to try as well.
ReplyDeletei picked up the paris tee shirt, scalloped dress in black, 2 varsity shirts (grey and maroon, elbow patch sweatshirt in black, blue stripe button down shirt. I only really wanted the paris tee but decided to try these out.
ReplyDeleteI did order the herringbone vest along with a chambray shirt in Petite sizing...so great to get free ship + the added 20% discount. I am happy to have the opportunity to pick up the vest as I missed it in retail and previous factory offerings.
ReplyDeleteMe too - I've been wanting it for ages!
DeleteLadies if you pick up the Herringbone or excursion vests, can you comment on the fit and material? Is it 100% poly? I'm also debating xxs and xs. Opinions about the fit is greatly appreciated.
ReplyDeleteI did stop by the factory store in Halton Hills this morning (Toronto area), and although they didn't have the herringbone vest, they had the camo vest and some solid coloured ones. I tried size M in the camo vest, and the fit is identical to my navy retail J Crew excursion vest, so I would say TTS. I ordered size M in the herringbone vest.
DeleteI tried the factory camo vest and i would say they run large.
DeleteI size down to a xxs.
To dianespainting & Ina, Thx for your comments. I didn't pick up the vest because it is FS. But today it is NOT final sale ... the black version is on backorder until Nov. 10... Well, I guess I don't need this transitional piece until Nov... save my wallet
DeleteThe email with the link indicated the discount would be applied once in the cart. That led me to believe it was 30% off the "your price". It seems misleading to me. Did anyone else think so too? Also why would the herringbone vest be final sale if this is the first day it is offered.
ReplyDeleteHi Krissy -- when they do 30% off new arrivals, the price is always marked online. You don't need a code for it. The good news is the 20% off of $100 w/SHOPMORE. hth
DeleteThanks for the code reminder.
Delete(original) Genny - Glad you saw it. :)
DeleteI slithered through the Rock Center store this morning. Some notes: the fabric of the Gold Star Ecru Shirt was as heavy as that of a jean jacket, otherwise this was a really cute shirt. The ecru color is a very pale cream. I'd consider it a "shirt jacket," I guess.
ReplyDeleteThe white Endless Shirt fit like a boy shirt IMO, and I had high hopes for it, but no - of all things, I found it too too long. Just 2 inches shorter and I would have forgiven it for the oversized cuffs. The back of the cuffs is that stiff piqué fabric that was the bib of last fall's tuxedo sweatshirt, so if you like to do dramatic things with cuffs, you'll like these. Really, those were the only two items that got a close look.
Uptown, at the Collection Store, still a lot of heavily embellished tops and patterned pants. Yawn. I came home and ordered the Collection Italian wool dress in navy, it looks like something for a grown-up and should be good with scarves. It's backordered (already?). I want to make sure of the size I'll need now, to be ready for markdowns. And I'm looking closely at the Boys' Fatigue Jacket - seems to be a touch less shapeless than the women's, sizes up to Boys' 16. And it's already marked down to $98 from $110.
The only things at Factory that I'd be interested in are the vests, but I don't need one more. That burgundy color is really pretty, though. Most of the rest of this is already in my nearest Factory store and seems like it's been hanging around a while. I'm not sure how much of this "new arrivals" is really new. I guess I just don't like shopping for transitional stuff, or just don't need any. I won't be buying anything from Factory right now.
ReplyDeleteNot too impressed with factory roll outs! Usually there is a ton of stuff I like. These excursion vests aren't new, but I bet they will make people who missed out on last season's roll out very happy!
ReplyDeleteI have the herringbone vest from last year's factory roll out, it fits TTS. but for me, all of J.crew's outerwear doesn't really allow for layering underneath unless I go up a size. So I kind of have to decide how I plan on wearing the item. That's just my suggestion for anyone looking to get these vests :)
I would love to see them offer basics in more colors - pencil skirts, work dresses, skimmer pants! If they could make a navy double serge cotton pencil skirt that would make me SO happy. I feel J.Crew always offers navy as an option, but for some reason they do not have any pencil skirts in that color!!
Retail has a navy double serge wool pencil skirt style 02676. It looks like a pretty nice shade of navy.
Deletetrying to checkout but getting the msg that the bisque is excluded from promo :( did the xtra 20% work yesterday on the vests?
ReplyDeleteA, yes I bought two vests (red currant and black) yesterday and the promotion worked for them...
Deleteugh, guess I missed out. hopefully they dont sell out or maybe i can score a deal in store
DeleteA,
DeleteI bought an excursion vest and two tees as well and the 20% worked for me. Been hearing that many ppl got their vests with the promo.
My order did go through with 20% off the total, including the herringbone excursion vest (along with a shirt and a tank). It did require the promo code.
DeleteYesterday I purchased the Warm Bisque color online with the 20% off. Today I went back for the red currant and the herringbone and they are "excluded from promo". Nice.
DeleteI did a MOCK check out with the same items as I bought yesterday and the vest was EXCLUDED from the promo. I think it was a mistake to include the vests in the beginning and J. Crew caught on and changed it.
DeleteI saw that on the vests and was disappointed. J Shrew! At it again, popping balloons at the party.
Deletei'm upset i missed out on the 20% off for the vests by a couple of hours. still ended up getting the vest in red currant, hope the color is as lovely as it looks online. would be the perfect transitional piece for fall.
Deletestopped by the factory store today & the vests were $10 off and the bisque was already low in stock. will bite the bullet & order online *le sigh*
DeleteWhat retail style are the Frankie chinos most similar to? I can't stand the Cafe Capri, but in the past have loved the wavery chino and never yet tried the andies.
ReplyDeleteI think I've read here before that the retail counterpart to the Frankies are the Andies, but I've never tried the Frankies myself. I recently tried the Factory skimmer pants, which I believe are the Factory counterpart to the Cafe Capris. I tried the Factory relaxed utility pant (A1920) in faded olive this summer, and I really like them. I think they may be more similar in cut to the Waverlys--straight, relaxed leg. They are much thinner and more suited to hot, humid summer weather than the Waverlys. I usually take a P00 in retail bottoms, but the 00 in the utility pant are a comfortable, relaxed fit for me.
Deletep.s. The Andies are a much more fitted cut than the Waverlys. They fit me like skinny jeans, whereas the Waverlys and Factory utility pant fit me like boyfriend jeans.
Deletep.p.s. I think I am also on the larger side of a retail P00, as I tend to fill them out in the hip and thigh, but the P0 usually sags in the butt area. Ideally, I might fit something in between.
