Darlings, is it time for a J.Crew coupon code?

It is time for another coupon code and this time the "thank you!" goes to Naomi from the "Additional "25% off" Sale in J.Crew Stores {yey!}" post who let us all know about it. J.Crew is offering free shipping on orders of $100+ with promo code IJN-160. This offer expires 7/5/08.

Also, "thanks!" to FabulousFloridaMommy who let us know (in the same post) that the code NJN-160 still works as of today! :)

  1. Hi again! Just got another email this morning about a J.Crew Swim Sale. :)

    Swim Sale:30% Off

  2. Sorry, that should be UP TO 30% off...not just 30% off.

  3. Wow! That coupon code goes through July 5th, that's so long.

  4. Thank you for the heads up about the swim sale. Unfortunately, I have had no luck with J Crew swim suits as I need MAJOR padding in my tops. LOL.

  5. Thanks FabulousFloridaMommy! I notice J.Crew sent me that email as well. Too bad they never sent me the Father's Day coupon. I don't understand how I receive some emails but not all of them. I wonder how they have "positioned" me as a customer.

  6. Hi Alexis! I wonder the same thing about the positioning...I didn't receive the email about the extra 25% off in stores, yet my store is one of them actually having the sale! As far as the Father's Day Coupon...I have never purchased any menswear online, but do often take my 4 boys into the store with me, so they know that I am married with children...I wonder if the store employees mark something on their screen when you are checking out to help position you for certain email notifications? If so...I really wish they would mark me for the really, really SUPER deals, but having this blog now is just as great with all of the information sharing! :)

  7. FabulousFloridaMommy- I know what you mean: I definitely want to be "marked" down for getting the really super super deals. ;)

I also don't understand why you, and others living near a 25% mark down store, wouldn't get the email to notify you. It seems like misguided move on J.Crew's part.

FFM, I also *really* appreciate the "heads up" with the emails (especially the ones I don't even get from J.Crew!) They have been super helpful to me!!! :)

  8. You know I was thinking...maybe they actually sent me the Father's Day coupon since I HAVEN'T yet bought menswear online, in order to try to get me to make a purchase...hmm...

  9. I got the Father's Day coupon and I buy J.Crew men's clothes online all the time. I don't think there is a rhyme or reason to who they send the emails to. You may be overestimating J.Crew marketing department :-)

  10. FabulousFloridaMommy- It definitely would make sense if Jcrew was trying to get you to buy online as well. :)

Lynn- You are too funny about the "overestimating"! :) You might be right. There could be just some guy pressing a button to send emails to a randomly generated list of names. ;)

  11. I have the same issue with the JCrew swimsuit tops--not enough of them come with padding! I can really use a little help in that department. I do have a couple of their suits, though, which I really otherwise like.

  12. Tiredoftyping- Couldn't agree with you more on that! :) You listed my number one complaint with J.Crew tops. It is impossible to find ones with padding, and when they do have padding- it is not sufficient enough (it is still very flimsy.)

  13. Have just discovered this website (and promptly used the latest coupon code) - it's the best! Will definitely be visiting this page regularly and telling all my friends about it. Thanks heaps!

  14. I received the Father's Day email and not the 25% off email (and my store was having the sale too). I used to be a card member about 4 years ago. Two times over the past year, I have received emails for card holders only although I am no longer a card holder.

Also, when JCrew releases new items on the website, I make some of the pages a "favorite". Then later in the season I can go back to the favorites and sometimes find items not listed anywhere on the website.

Last time I ordered an item using the pages I saved as a favorite the item never came in and they sent me an email apologizing they would not be getting more in as expected and gave me an option for free shipping on another item. :)

This is a great blog as people are really talking about the clothing, but what's not to stop JCrew from saying Alexis has to remove the coupon information? I was greatly disappointed too about the codes being removed from Retailmenot, etc. I used to get up to shop for codes and JCrew and now I have to read this BLOG! At least I know I'm not the only one! smiley

  15. Overjoyed- happy to see that this site is helping out a bit! :)

Hi Anonymous at 7:23 AM: I also bookmark pages on J.Crew's website- For the same exact reasons too! :)
