Why did one J. Crew have 30 off clearance and on the same day another a few towns away had nothing off clearance? Is that normal now? J. Crew selection is horrid right now. I got two t shirts. the bright yellow and maroon with words for like 8 bucks each. Nothing else I even would consider buying. Been shopping elsewhere. Not into the plain drab boring stuff as of late at J. Crew.
ReplyDeleteYes, I picked up the blue and white cropped stripe cardigan with the 30% extra discount. It's a true white white and I expect it will get lots of spring/summer wear. My first match will be the elephant marties that I found in my local store the weekend before - they are a size 4T which had to be a return.
ReplyDeleteThey also had a grey Parke topcoat size 8, which is sold out on-line. I have that coat in a 6, and with the current discount it was under $65 for a beautiful coat. The store is Chester, NJ in case you want to call them.
I also ordered a lot of items from the sale for my husband, my local store does not carry men's. Oh, and the grey striped robe for myself as my store also doesn't do nightwear.
I haven't been to the store last weekend. I'm waiting for new arrivals. Hopefully they will be here soon. I'd like new arrivals for kids too.

DeleteMeh. I went yesterday to return a bunch of things, mostly my stuff but also a pair of swim trunks for my husband. The sizing and quality of almost everything is just so off. I saved myself a ton of money. Basically, I kept a white denim jean skirt and two one-piece swimsuits.
