Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SUMMER & FALL sale, or to see some new FALL arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  3. Finally got to go this weekend. Had not been in close to 4 months. I was so excited to get exactly what I went in for: Picked up 3 sequin sash belts on sale-- the last 3 in store; one in each color! Nothing inpiring in the clothes. Did not even try anything on. I noticed most people in store were looking but not buying much if anything. No one in line at the check out. Also got a cute Crewcuts orange headband for my daughter. She was very pleased--ony $3.99 and looks so cute for Halloween!

I thought it was interesting that a 9 year old even commented on too many sequins (large blue heart full of sequins on a sheer tee) and did not find anything she wanted to try on! She and I used to hit the dressing rooms and have a blast!

Hubby looked at the sale section and came over to me and said, "What happened to J.Crew? The clothes look cheap. Some of it even reminds me of 80's plaid shirts." I just smiled, shook my head and said, "I know. Makes me glad I overbought the past 8 years!

  4. Not too much left in the sale section of my store in north AL. Mostly picked over, however I did pick up a few tank tops to wear under sweaters and cardigans.

  5. I was on vacay and checked out the Denver Cherry Creek store. There were a ton of sale sweaters (some cashmere, lots of Traversas!), but I didn't buy anything.

The lines at the registers were pretty long, though, so others must have been buying.

  6. Went to my local store and there were a few shoppers. No one in line when I entered. Saw one person buy something.

I bought two sale items and spent about $30. No wait and no one behind me so pretty dead for a Saturday.

Waited in longer lines at Talbots, F21 and a couple other dept. stores.

I was excited to go in to JCrew b/c it had been a while but did not see anything I was willing to pay full price for. The shorter pencil skirts did not work me.
