20% Off All Women's Outerwear

"Thanks!" to many of you, including Amanda (in this post) as well as Marietta & Irina, who shared the latest promotion from J.Crew.

J.Crew is offering 20% off all Women's outerwear. This promotion expires this Sunday, October 24, 2010. The fine print includes:
*Prices as marked. Offer excludes Belstaff®, Barbour®, Mackintosh® and Authier® and cannot be redeemed for cash or applied to previous purchases. Offer valid in J.Crew retail stores and at jcrew.com only. Offer is not valid at J.Crew Factory stores or on J.Crew Factory items. Offer valid through Sunday, October 24, 2010, 11:59pm ET.
Love to see the promotion. :) Personally though, there are not too many coats I am interested right now. I have so many beautiful ones from previous seasons of J.Crew, that I am all set.

Will you take advantage of this latest promotion? If so, what items did you pick up?

  1. Pass. I'm sure the coat I'm considering will go lower in price and I don't have-to-have it right now.

  2. IRL: You are so right! :) If customers can wait, they should. The prices of J.Crew coats always goes down significantly in a few months (around November/December), even more so around January.

  3. It's a decent offer combined with the 20% JCCSALE code. I purchased the hooded Stadium Cloth coat for my 15yo daughter.
The prices will go down again to be sure! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  4. I also think it is a good promo combined with the extra 20%! I do believe I will order the Dapple Coat by the end of the day. I waited too long for the price to go down on a black tweed last year and missed out.

  5. So tempted to get the Coletta with the combined discount, but I certainly don't "need" it now, so I'll patiently wait for the later discounts. I'm also interested in the icon trench -- reg or wool-cashmeree. Can anyone weigh in if they are worth it (reg would be $190 and wool would be $208)??

    ReplyDelete
  6. Hi shopwithm - I actually purchased my Icon trench at FP (probably the only item at JC that I've done so) and found it to be absolutely worth every penny. I wear it constantly, it goes with everything, the tailoring and fit is great. Every once in a while I look for the black one on a popback. As for sizing, I'm typically a 2 in JC jackets but sized up to a 4 in the trench so that I could wear it over sweaters. The 2 fit fine, but I thought if I wore a heavy sweater or jacket underneath the trench wouldn't lay right.

I was curious about the wool-cashmere one but it has epaulets which I'm not crazy about (the regular Icon does not have them) and several JCA's here have tried it and remarked that the wool-cashmere feels kind of thin and not warm. That's too bad - if it were Thinsulate lined or something I probably would've already bought the camel one.

We haven't heard too many coat reviews from JCA's this season, with the exception of the Milo peacoat. Anybody else trying/buying and care to review?

  7. I am tempted to get the Stadium cloth Elements Coat with the extra cardmember discount. Any comments on fit?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Pretty addicted I ride on the stadium cloth elements coat last night and I'm in love! I usually wear a 0 but the smallest size we got was a 2 and I liked the fit. A little big but ok for layering.... I think my normal size would have fit really well too.

The only thing I noticed that was a little bizarre way there were 10 of the same coat next to each other and ALL of them were slightly different colored!!!! So maybe try to go to b&m or order a few if you can to pick the one you like best? I love it though im a sucker for the hood !!!

  9. shopwithm, I second silver_lining's comments on the Icon trench. Moving from the southern U.S. to Canada I have gone coat crazy. I bought the grey Icon in size 10 and the black Icon in size 12 in when there was 20% off your entire order. The black was through the Find It service and there was no size 10 available so I thought I'd compare the two for size but ended up keeping both. I wear the 10 in spring without layers and the 12 in fall with layers underneath so was glad I did get a size up for that purpose.

I have an older Burberry trench and can say that the Icon is comparable quality, especially given the price. The thick cotton fabric and tailored cut give it great structure. It's quite rain-resistant yet still breathes so you don't perspire like under a synthetic raincoat.

I recently bought the short Icon in warm taupe with a discount code. I got my usual size 10 and it fits the same as the long Icon. The short Icon is J.Crew Collection and is similar to the long version with just a few differences. There are buttons on the pockets and the back vent. The collar is not shirred and there is a chain-loop under the garment tag for hanging. The short Icon has a single hook to close the neck where the long Icon has a double-hook. Other than that I don't see any difference to make it Collection but it's a gorgeous coat. The Icon trench is definitely a classic that you will be happy to have in your coat closet.

  10. silver_lining - thanks so much! I've been wanting the icon for ages, and this is a pretty reasonable price. Thanks also for the sizing info. Thank goodness it's not final sale at least.

    ReplyDelete
  11. xoxo, thanks for your input as well! I have debated a Burberry trench as well, but have been liking the J.Crew style a touch more, plus the price is obviously right.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Thanks for the info, jcrewlove! I will stick with my regular size then. I saw this coat in the store yesterday too and when I saw the promo I was annoyed at myself for not trying it on. The color they had was dark fatigue, and I noticed the same thing you did about the color: it was different on every coat!

I really like the sandstone color online, and I don't have any coats that color. I hope it is as dark as the swatch (which I usually find to be more accurate than the pics on the model), because I'm pale and lighter camel colors can wash me out. I also hope that the color variation in the coats is limited to the in-store color.

    ReplyDelete
  13. sub - why does this always make me do it twice?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Wearing my Navy Stadium Cloth peacoat with the gold buttons today... only the 3rd wear and one of the buttons already came off. Kinda annoyed. Great coat, but hopefully now I remember how to sew.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I'm interested in the Coletta but it looks very similar to the Carlin I already own and haven't worn yet. It's the lovely colors JC always gets me...

Thanks for the Icon trench sizing. I have another question. I'm 5'4" and would the long Icon trench be too long for me? I'm leaning towards the short one since it may be more versatile given the warmer weather here in So.Cal.

  17. Shopwithm and others- I second silver_lining on the love of Icon trench. I paid FP for the trench as well and got the coat with a recent 25%off. Coat is great, very soft, I actually like the epaulets and the color is divine ( camel). I am partial to camel coats b/c they are instant style elevators, IMO. One can wear sweatpants and throw a camel coat on and be.. well.. chic..:)Sizing wise, I got my usual 4 in both and it a tad bit big- enough for layering {or not}. Highly recommend! I'll try to take pics tonight and post a review.

    ReplyDelete
  18. jcrewphd, I don't think the Icon would be too long for you. It may come to your knee, which should be fine. Best to call CS for the measurements in your size.

I just got the short Icon last week and have worn it already, I love it. I tried the J.Crew travel trench and liked the style but it wasn't great quality IMO. The short and long Icon are both quality pieces and very well done. The best choice depends on your lifestyle somewhat. I need to walk 20 minutes between my parking and office and we get some nasty rain here so the length is important on those days. If you don't have much need for a real raincoat, the shorter one may be more versatile, particularly for your warmer climate.

  19. I need a down coat this year, and I am disappointed in JC's down offerings, so pass.I just ordered a down parka w/fur trim hood from Lands End, who is offering $20 off and free ship (rec'd the free ship through an email, not sure whether it was one use). I ordered regular and petite to try and I can easily return at Sears with no hassles.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I don't really see a coat that I have to have. I'm still enjoying my coats from the past 2 years. My fav is last year's Camino Coat in Cobalt Blue. So pretty!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Thanks xoxo, great point about the length. I don't get to do a whole lot of walking here as unfortunately we have to drive to everywhere.
I'm going to try the short Icon and I also didn't quite like the travel trench before.

Slastena: You've peeked my interest for the wool Icon...ah only if our winters here were colder I'd love to get it.

  22. Generation K,

I bet you are going to LOVE your LE coat. I bought one like you are describing last year and it is DIVINE!

I have always wanted a JCrew down coat but could never get the price and free shipping that I needed and LE came through for me last year with both and 100% anytime return guarantee.

Let me know what you think when you get yours!

  23. Ooh, that combined promo has me in a quandary. I have not yet worn my Cocoon Concerto coat (except to try on for my blog), and though my PS gave me 20% off back in August, the payment method I used was my J. Crew card. I am incredibly tempted to re-order to get the additional 20% off (which equals no small amount, btw). I have e-mailed my PS for her advice, maybe she will be able to just credit the difference? Who knows?

Anyhow, have fun for those that participate...great deal for those who can combine...

    ReplyDelete
  24. Hi! I found your site today as I was searching for coupons for the coat that I wanted. I got the Wool-cashmere Icon Trench in Camel and saved over $100 thanks to the additional 20% off. Thanks! I wanted to wait, but they ALWAYS run out of my size. I got it in a 10. Hoping it fits! The last time I bought a J. Crew coat was years ago - any idea why they don't offer Thinsulate anymore? Thanks again!

    ReplyDelete
  25. So, I'm contemplating buying my first J Crew coat (I love the nightfall blue so I'm thinking maybe something in that color). It seems to be the general consensus to size up from jacket size to accommodate layers underneath? So if I'm usually a 6 in jackets/blazers I should go for an 8? Does it matter whether it has thinsulate or not for sizing? (It gets cold here, so I'd want the extra warmth!) Thanks!

By the way, there seems to be another Amanda who posts occasionally - I should probably come up with a handle, I guess... :)

    ReplyDelete
  26. Hi Amanda - I would advise to size up from your jacket size to accomodate layers, but also to contact CS for measurements on the coat. I think their sizing is starting to be more and more inconsistent. Case in point: I ordered the blazecoat in 4 (my 'usual' coat size) and it was huge - I mean, I could've fit two sweaters and a jacket underneath! I didn't think to contact CS for measurements 'cause I'm sure a 2 would've been too small - but from now on I will make it a point to get measurements from them before I order!

  27. I would love to hear if anyone has tried the bon bon coat.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Kris (or anyone else who's interested in the Bon-Bon coat) -

I received my Bon-Bon coat in the Rainforest Green color (which is the color the model wear in the Nov catalogue), overall I am underwhelmed by the coat for several reasons:

    1) Color: is off, IRL color of the rainforest green is definately more muted and not as vibrant as the online pics

    2) Material: is VERY thin, it's comparable to a blazer, not so much of a coat, it is most likely not going to stand a east coast winter (which is where I live)

    3) Style and fit: just ok, this is not a fitted coat, somewhat roomy but I would say it's true to size especially that you will need to wear layers underneath it if you are going to wear this coat for winter. This coat hit me around mid-thigh (I am 5'7).

Verdict: I decided to return it because compare to the Trudie Herringbone coat which I had also ordered (which is essentially the same style as the Bon-Bon), the Trudie coat is much thicker and longer and its more suitable for a winter coat in my opinion.

    Hope this helps!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Couture -

Thanks so much, I was hoping it was similar to the Trudie coat (now sold out) but it sounds like it isn't.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Kris - I should say overall the Bon-Bon coat is very similar to the Trudie coat in terms of style and cut with the exception for material, and the Bon-Bon coat is about 3-4 inches shorter then the Trudie.

If you like the style of the coat, the Bon-Bon is a good alternative with the current promo, just my 2 cents =)

  31. can someone tell me how is the sizing of Highland puffer vest, is it tts? thanks in advance :)

    ReplyDelete
  32. I'm undecided. About a month ago, I purchased the Stadium Cloth Peacoat with a coupon but haven't removed the tags yet or worn it.

I just stumbed across the Stadium Cloth Elements Coat and like it much better but I am torn as to whether I should snatch it up now or wait. I know the price will probably drop but I am so scared it will sell out in my size and color!!!

But it seems like the majority of you ladies think we should wait? Weighing my odds here :)

I also ordered a coat from Talbots yesterday but I don't think I will keep it.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'm deciding between the green (cypress) and purple (plum) colors for the Coletta coat. I've seen the plum in stores, but can anyone comment on the green color?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Lucy - Can't comment on the colleta coat but I have seen both Plum and Cypress color IRL, here's my take:

Plum - It's a very deep and rich color, from afar it can look a bit like dark brown, with a hint of burgundy

Cypress - IRL color is pretty true to the online pics, it's military green, same color family as the Olive color but with a hint of gold undertone (does that make sense?)

My 2 cents is that plum is probably a more "classic" color, Cypress seems to be on-trend for the Fall military style look.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Couture - very helpful. You're probably right that the plum is the more classic. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Thanks, Couture. Now just trying to decide between the Bon Bon and the blazecoat...

  37. I went to B&M at lunch and tried on Stadium Elements Coat. The fit is much roomier than other coats so you don't have to size up to layer. It is a very nice coat with casual vibe. The hood fits nicely. My only complain, alas, for me a big one, is that the pockets don't have a side entry, so you can put stuff in them as they are quite roomy but you cannot really stuff your hands in them. I would think in a warm coat you would want that. maybe they were sewn shut and I missed that, but I looked. Correct me if I am wrong.
I also tried the stadium peacoat and it fit TTS, fell to my hip (I am 5'7") and it was nice overall but pretty basic. I already have a peacoat like that.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Hi ajc - I saw the elements coat as well and noticed that it had the slash pockets at chest level to put your hands in.

Oddly enough, they were also selling last year's black stadium cloth trenchcoat at my B&M for $325.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Alternative to cashmere wool icon - (Boulevard coat?) coming

I tried a coat in Paramus that appears to be version of last year Boulevard, double breasted, stadium cloth with belt and straight fit, falls to knee. Very nice, so I you liked it last year you may want to wait. Style number 19648. Also, if you think wool cashmere icon is too thin, this might be the one for you. It is fitted in a very nice way, same way as last year boulevard. I thought it had more room in the chest than last year's version and fitted TTS. Same price as icon coat $325. I saw it in black but I am sure there will be other colors.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Has anyone tried the stadium-cloth cinema coat? I like it on the model but I'm size 12 and curvy so I'm afraid it will make me look huge and lumpy. The description calls the silhouette "universally flattering" but normally that guarantees that an item will look awful on me. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  41. silver_lining, were we at the same store? I said Paramus, but it was Hackensack, sorry. I am usually at Paramus.
    Chest side pockets, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  42. Not for me, I definitely do not need any more outerwear. I don't get enough use out of it to make it cost-effective.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Okay, 2nd comment to today's post! Just received my waitlisted ingenue coat in black (bought it back in August on sale + % off + free ship) and I am in LOOOOOVE. It is gorgeous in real life. Nice weight, made well, the collar gives it a classic/modern (yes, the two at the same time) touch, and with the belt, is extremely figure flattering. I find it is just right in my typical size 6, even a bit to spare for layering.

My only issue is that it was $325 last year and now it is $350, plus the fact that the black and sea salt were at rock bottom pricing over the summer, so if I were any of you all, I would grab the cobbblestone or the purple color with this promo and wait out the black and sea salt ones for a better deal.

I hope that helps someone out there.

    ReplyDelete
  44. AAAAGHHH I've been crushing on the Stadium cloth peacoat in Nordic blue (I am blue-obsessed) forever. Now it's sold out in my size (0P) AND in regular 00. So disappointed. I probably would've splurged on this today.

Anyone have any inside scoop on whether there will be another promo on sweaters and/or entire orders soon?? I have about 4 sweaters on my list...

    ReplyDelete
  45. I remember last year there was a 30% off coats promo in November/December (can't remember) and I also used my student discount. I really like a couple of the quotes but I am willing to wait. I know the prices will drop soon and I don't really need a new coat...I just want one :)

In my experience last year the 30% off outerwear promo was when sizes and colors started selling out.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Did anyone pick up last year's Wool Cashmere Station Coat (with the gold buttons?). I have been eyeing it on e-bay because it is on trend with the military vibe, plus I just think it is very classic, but I haven't seen it IRL.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Just FYI, Madewell put up new arrivals online!

    ReplyDelete
  48. I just got the colleta coat in a 6P today. I am not sure if I like it or not, I may need to size down to the 4P, but then I am scared it would be to small, I ordered the plum and it is much more muted than i thought and looks almost brown:(

    ReplyDelete
  49. I had promised a review of the Bonbon coat during the last JCA reviews post but by the time I had the coat and the time to write, I felt the post was probably outdated. Anyhoo...

I received the Bonbon coat and was disappointed. The collar had become wrinkled during shipping and just didn't lay right no matter how I tried to position it. It never looked like any of the photos in the catalog and I didn't know if the wrinkles (two major creases on the cowl collar) would steam or hang out.

I will say the spicy russet color was beautiful...not too bright; kind of a tomato soup color. I loved everything else (the lining, the little gold chain by the tag, the fit, the buttons, the fabric). It has a nice heavy feel.

What I decided to do was exchange it for the Coletta coat (which I have tried on because they have it at my local b&m in black and purple) in the same spicy russet color. I returned the Bonbon yesterday to my local b&m and while ordering the Coletta I asked if I could use my 20% Jcrew card code and also receive free shipping (because I was ordering in-store)...the sales assoc said yes. So, super happy because the Coletta coat is actually a bit cheaper than the Bonbon and I got free shipping which I didn't when I originally ordered the Bonbon.

Now come to find out I could have gotten an additional 20% off if I'd waited only a day! Ugh...but I will email or call this evening to see if I can be credited the extra 20%. They did this once for me back in the summer when a bathing suit I had just ordered suddenly went on promo.

I have the long puffer from last year and absolutely love it...if you can get 20% off that and are on the fence, I say do it!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Woo! I ordered the Colletta coat in black with the Thinsulate option. I've been eyeing it for a while and just decided to go for it when I saw the promo this morning. I tried it on in store in a 0, my regular size and it fit perfectly. I hope it's warm!

I *love* the stadium cloth peacoat in golden sunflower or ivory, but I figure that's something I can wait for.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Ali, try the Find It service, there may be one in store somewhere.

silver_lining and ajc, I found the Boulevard trench style number on Gigi's blog and it is indeed 19648. I have the Boulevard coat in black. It is a classic trench (notice a pattern for me here?), very understated details with a flattering tailored fit. The belt doesn't have the typical trench buckle and it is a little shorter so it ties up quite nicely. Super warm in the stadium cloth. I think I got it at $199 less 30% off and free shipping on post-Christmas Final Sale, but I had tried it on in the grey at Lenox mall in Atlanta last December so I knew it was good. Had to stalk a while for the popback in black but who knows how many they made or how well they will sell this year. Gorgeous coat!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Unless you really need a coat and have nothing to keep you warm or MUST have a particular color right now: the thing to do with JCrew is wait. I have gotten so many coats for much better prices....

I have 7 JCrew coats all bought on super sale from basic colors to fun orange and red!

    ReplyDelete
  53. so on my way back from work I also checked the paramus store and they had boulevard coat in a color similar to heather saddle. i don't think this color was available last year so this would be indeed a new coart. i that case I am surprised they did not change the style number.
After J crew I stopped at BR becasue I got $20 reward card and I bought their military wool coat in camel. The fit is very nice, it is not double breasted, and the camel color is beautiful. With 25% off and reward card it was $167. I was not sure if I'd keep it but I tried it at home and looks great with everything so I think i got my camel coat fix.

  54. Outerwear-related: Saw this Double-cloth coat on eBay. Pretty good deal if it's authentic! The seller seems to have good feedback, but obviously look into it if you're actually considering.

  55. I got the Stadium-cloth peacoat awhile back in the heather charcoal and I love it. It fits true to size. I had also ordered the Ever peacoat but I returned it because I thought the fabric was not very thick. The Stadium cloth is nice and thick and the cut is flattering.

  56. Patsystone-

I'd be very interested in finding out if they let you apply the promo retroactively. I called today with a similar request (ordered with the shopfall promo last week) and was flatly denied- even though those items haven't even arrived yet. So I will have to return and reorder, and I told them that, but they wouldn't budge. It was a $1500 order with 3 coats so I am resentful that they would not work with me. This will definitely curtail my enthusiasm for their products in the future...

    ReplyDelete
  57. I am trying to decide between the Colletta Coat and the Lady Day in Dark Plum or Cobblestone. I saw a girl at Starbucks wearing the Colletta in Dark Plum, and she looked great in it (if you are reading this, mystery gal, you looked fab!). The Dark Plum color looked perfect -- not to bright, understated and the perfect punch of color. But I the Cobblestone seems so versatile. I wore my Ingenue Coat in Sea Salt to death last winter (I ended up buying a second one for less than $80 on final sale at the end of winter, I loved it that much). I could use a camel colored coat, but I'm not sure about the wool/cashmere Icon Trench. I agree about the epilets...not really my thing, so maybe the Boulevard will be the answer there, if it comes in camel?

    ReplyDelete
  58. ChristinainSeattle--I will let you know what they say. In this case, I feel like I am simply asking for a price adjustment: despite the cardmember code, the item is now on promo but by the time it arrives (in a week), the promo will be over so I won't be able to bring it in for a price adjustment. Simple enough, right? It's the same situation as with my bathing suit earlier this year but that I bought at full price...this time I already got 20% off and free shipping. But times, as they say, are tough...all around it seems.

    ReplyDelete
  59. ChristinainSeattle: logging back on t report that I called them up and was able to get the $35 credited. My argument was that I had the discounted coat in my shopping bag with the cardmember code applied and was about to purchase it and just return the one I bought yesterday before it went on promo. I asked that rather than jump through all those hoops, why not just credit me the difference now? She said that was fine...I'm very pleased. I do think the sales associates that work at my local b&m already think I'm a bit nuts with all the buying online and returning I do...Anyway, could you try the same thing?

    ReplyDelete
  60. Patsystone- thanks for the update, and I am glad they worked with you. I did tell them (very politely) I would return the unreceived items and resubmit the order but I just wasn't getting anywhere...

Luck of the draw I guess, and I am glad they were more helpful to you!

  61. While I would LOVE an Ingenue or Icon, I have way too many coats. I'm with IRL, I'll hope for a can't-possibly-pass-it-up deal. Then I'll make room in the closet :)

  63. I ordered an embarrassing number of JC coats this past summer during a 30% off sale prices promo, and I haven't worn any of them yet, so I definitely need to pass on this sale. It's still fairly warm in NYC and I've been getting by with a sweater and/or my cashmere shawl so far.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Puffer or wool? What do you think works better for 50 degree weather? I'm heading to rome at xmas and can't decide what makes more sense?

    ReplyDelete
  65. julnot9, IMO a puffer is *WAY* too heavy for 50 degree weather. I wouldn't want anything but a light jacket at that temp. YMMV of course.

    ReplyDelete
  66. julnot9,

I would go with the puffer if it was a shorter jacket length. I have been wearing mine for 45 degree mornings at the bus stop this week and it is perfect.

Have yet to break out the wool coat. I also think the puffer is better if there is a cool breeze and keeps you a bit warmer. Hope that helps:)

    ReplyDelete
  67. I agree with others on the fit of the blazecoat. I ordered a size 0 in the camel, but I first tried it on in the store. My normal size 2 (and I woold have to size-up to a 4 if I wanted to wear a sweater underneath) was just GIANT! The size 0 fit better - but it still a roomy jacket, and certainly not fitted like the Lady Day, etc... I'm OK with that because it gives it a cool "cinched" look with the belt at the waist. The fabric feels amazing - like it is cashmere, even though it isn't! Definitely a cool, unique coat for those of us who have a billion coats and want something a little different! HTH!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Hmm...I waited. Seems that usually prices do go quite a bit lower in the winter. Problem is will the selection remain optimal. Thus far I have had good luck with this waiting approach though. Don't you wish the J.Crew online site had customer reviews!!

    ReplyDelete
  69. Just received my Double-cloth Ingenue coat in sea salt which I had backordered in early August and wow did this thing not pass ANY sort of quality control. This is the second year in a row I ordered a waitlisted coat and received a completely defective one just prior to the backorder date that was clearly another customer's return. Suffice it to say I'm extremely disappointed after waiting all this time. In addition to the stitching coming undone around both pockets, the belt has what appears to be a burn stain and is completely misshapen and mis-sewn all along the bottom 3-4 inches of the belt which is extremely obvious when it is tied. Am I wrong to assume that, since I ordered this long ago on sale (just checked my receipt- it was $259.99 and I applied a promo bringing it to $189.99) and it's now full price, they didn't care what they sent me? On second thought, last year's coat was full price when I ordered it so there's no rhyme or reason to their quality control or lack thereof. Just a word of warning. Right now I've asked them to locate me another of the same coat in my size so as not to land at the end of the waitlist again. We'll see what happens, though I fear I will just end up with another damaged return and back it will go. Again. Sigh.

  70. Has anyone seen the Dollop coat in person? I went to my local B&M in nyc to see if they had it, but nada. I did, however see the new Stadium coat, and whoa, was I disappointed! It was such a thin wool. I couldn't believe how thin the material was. Definitely felt like a fall coat and not a winter one. If anyone can comment on the Dollop coat, I'd appreciate it.
