This is the weekly "Other JCrew-like Retailers" post (similar to the "Off On A Tangent"
posts), where we can share our finds from other
retailers that have offerings similar to J.Crew
(like Anthropologie, LE Canvas, Gap, BR, Talbots, Ann
Taylor, and the like.)
If you
have recently encountered items that are similar to
J.Crew, maybe you might be
willing to share that information with us
in this post.
Please feel
free to share your story on almost any topic—
including experiences with certain merchandise pieces,
promotions/ offers, in-store visits,
transactions with store associates, etc.
I posted a few Everlane reviews on my blog.
ReplyDeleteI've shared my current wishlist, which includes sale items from numerous retailers, in this post on my blog today for those interested. :)
ReplyDeleteI have some Boden reviews on my blog here. It's on clearance now, but the colorblock pencil skirt is amazing.
ReplyDeleteLadies this is entirely OT but does anyone have a Madewell code at the moment? I'd like to make a large purchase and a % off would certainly help. :) snapsparkchik at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteHas anyone tried jeans from Express? I saw a woman at the airport wearing the best boyfriend (or girlfriend) jeans and after searching for the pocket realized they are from express (no obnoxious pocket design, just an embossed script logo on the lower right pocket). They were a fitted boyfriend style and so flattering. I haven't shopped at Express in many years!
ReplyDeletewow, interesting Suz Has! I am always on the lookout for a good boyfriend/girlfriend jean. BR has a pair I am eyeing at the moment. Maybe I will pop into an Express...have not shopped there since high school! omg.
DeleteJust tried them. I don't like them. Maybe if I found them for $15 at Marshall's. They aren't terrible but they aren't great
DeleteEither.
what is up with online ordering from anthropologie? I've never placed an order there before, but I did, with the sale last friday, and I didn't receive an order confirmation email. I emailed customer service, and nothing back. now, I've received in the mail 4 out of 6 items, one of which I did not order (it's a random pair of cropped trousers, I ordered long flare leg jeans) and another of which is mismarked on the receipt (the receipt says mih jeans, they sent me ag jeans). I'm reading (recent) disaster reviews of this process on consumer reports, including people reporting that anthro is accusing them of lying and yelling at them, when they bring in items they were shipped wrongly and don't have the item it's labeled as on the receipt, and I'm scared! I'm going to get my money back when I return the mismarked items, right?!
