I won't lie, I have been loving the items from Factory lately. In particular, the button down shirts.
Will you be taking advantage of this promotion? What item are you hoping to pick up? Please share!
I bit on this one and ordered the drapey tank dress with bow and Vail parka to try (the Vail parka wasn't excluded from the extra 25% off for once--shhh, don't tell them!). I originally wanted the Vail parka in grey but my size was sold out, so I'm trying it in navy. The navy looks gorgeous. I ordered my usual size in both. Fingers crossed they work out!
ReplyDeleteI have the navy and love it. I've worn it quite often this winter. It's not a full shot, but I do have a close up in this Instapic. Hope you love yours.
DeleteOff-topic, but I was curious about this. I've never done a price adjustment with J Crew before, but when I went in to do one today for an item I bought at full-price last week (and which is now marked down and on clearance), receipt in hand, the sales associate told me they don't do price adjustments for items now on-sale unless I bring in the original item I bought, unworn and with tags still attached. Is that actually part of their price adjustment policy? I've never had a store for another company require me to bring in an item as if I was returning it for original method of payment like that. Unfortunately, today was the seventh day after purchase, so I'm out of luck on getting money back at this point anyway, but just for future reference.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had to make a price adjustment request in-store, so I don't have any experience to share. I agree w/Annie about making the request via email if you purchased online. Much easier and, hopefully, no shaming. Most companies don't require you to have the item and just make an adjustment based on the receipt. I hope J Crew would follow suit.
DeleteI always do price adjustments online, much easier like Gigi also said. Never had any problems, on the contrary: a friendly email that the've done the price adjustment arrives usually within a couple of hours.
DeleteAnd why not try it even if a day late? Nothing ventured etc
I'm returning to this late, but everything worked out in the end! I e-mailed customer service and they said they would be happy to do the price adjustment for me, since I did everything correctly and the sales associate was in the wrong (I bought the original item in-store, for the record). When refunding to my debit card wouldn't work because mine isn't compatible for online transactions, they let me receive a refund on one of the credit cards attached to my account. Thank you so much for everyone who responded with help, I really appreciate it!
DeleteI would send an email asap to customer service, with the order #, item #, purchase or if ordered online, ship date. They will honor the price adjustment, and will email you a response, usually within 24 hours. HTH.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Annie! I ended up doing exactly that, and it all worked out in the end :)
