This is the weekly "Help Style Me!" post, where we can share items we are having trouble putting outfits together with. Elaine (in this
post) says it best, "You know, that thing you
bought because you love it and you keep pulling it
out and then putting it away without wearing it?"
Please
share your J.Crew item (either that you own or
are thinking about getting) that you would love help
creating an outfit with.
Also,
please help out by offering your styling advice. Feel
free to include links to your blog (where you
incorporated that piece) or to Polyvore (where you
showcased an outfit with that piece). Thanks in advance!
:)
I styled the Rayner jeans and Metallic tweed jacket with front pockets on my blog. (I know I have Figure out how to make the link active!)
ReplyDeleteAfter I took the pics I noticed JCrew has a pic of the tweed jacket on Pinterest (in navy, which I believe is sold out) with a big flower boutainerre attached). I may try that, and also add pearls.

ReplyDeleteOutfit ideas on my blog for some of the Factory new arrivals.
We have snow so I am wearing the ever popular runway cargo patchwork pants in lamp post green with a royal blue J.Crew pullover and the pompom scarf with my royal blue peacoat and sorrel boots. I loved the combo on the runway and like it in person as well. The east coast is bracing for more bad weather. Good luck everyone and stay safe. Almost forgot that I have the navy/cream waffle tee layered under the sweater.
ReplyDeleteSounds cute AND practical! Win/win. As you know, DD - where I am, we're also bracing for impact... Today to work I am wearing the ivory/black silk tipped Boy shirt under the mixed media wool sweater from last year (the tweed + Dutch floral), Factory black Addison chinos, black patent Martinas, & black tights. Staying warm at least for now!
DeleteI just got an email from the clearance store that the Lynchburg and Arden location will be closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday because of the storm. Asheville is supposed to get as much as 22" and I know that you are getting slammed as well.
DeleteYou know Taylor I missed that seater and still regret it. I keep hoping it will show up at the clearance store one day or in the bottom of a cardboard box at the Warehouse sale. I did get a pair of the Dutch floral pants and love them. Sounds like a great outfit as well for you.
DeleteSweater not seater. :)
DeleteI want to see a pic! I should get that scarf today.
ReplyDeleteI need to start instagram but right now I don't have any way to post a picture. Just picture that gorgeous runway model but add *** pounds. :) Oh, and I am probably at least 30 years older.
DeleteWow, it's going to be in the 70s for me the next couple of days. Everyone who's getting snow, stay warm!
