  1. I think Fridays will be an added % of of sale section. I have been looking but really only out of habit. C

  2. Has anyone tried on the Short Quilted Puffer jacket with faux fur hood? (#C9785) I'm interested in the "Dark Oak" color, which looks like a champagne color online, but I wonder what it looks like in person. Thanks!

  3. Another day, another sale that doesn't include what I want womp womp. I really love the excursion vest in gray flannel (finally, a versatile gray color!) and the melton wool toggle coat, but every sale that includes outerwear excludes these. How many times can the lady day and majesty peacoat go on sale?! I guess I'm disappointed because for a year or two now, the only thing that has really interested me at J Crew has been the outerwear, and some of that has just been getting coats I already own in different colors. BTW I love that they brought back the retro pink lady day coat. I missed it 2 years ago when they sold out of my size and I was never even able to find it on pop back.

    1. Depending on how late you tend to stay up, you might check the site when the promo switches over. I checked about midnight CST last night to see what the new promo was. The two items in my cart (flannel vest and furry vest) were tagged with the DAYFOUR promo. When I entered the promo, it didn't seem to apply. So I tried DAYTHREE, and it gave me 30% off both items. Weird, but worth a shot. :)

    2. Wendy is right. I have been doing that, and it always works on items I want that are excluded or third party.

    3. Thanks for the suggestion @ Wendy and @JSR!

@ Catherine717, I like your picks! I have been eyeing the melton wool toggle coat in pink for a while as well, but worry the wool is itchy or too thin for winter season. Anyone has experience with the melton wool toggle coat?

Speaking of the Lady Day Coat in Retro Pink, it was marked to $299 a few week ago (and still took 30% off during that time). But after a few days, it "magically" went back to the full price $365. I ordered the bright cerise which was marked $199 during that time window. Not a fun that JCrew bounces the price.

    4. What? How did I miss the $299 for the retro pink? Though I had to pay more for it anyway because I'm tall and I think tall sizes are an extra $10, but that's another rant for another day. Oh well, I'm still looking forward to getting the coat.

    5. No regret @ Megin! Only a number of regular size Lady Coat (in Retro Pink, Bright Cerise, and Dark Camel, maybe some Antique white) were marked down, but they went out so quickly.

    6. Actually, I got the lady day in retro pink during that sale! I was so excited until it came and it was way too big. But when they added it in the petite sizes, CS let me exchange the big one for the sale price- so I got it for $202! So excited for it to come! :)

  8. Did stop by a J Crew tonight, so many of you JCAs may be right for tomorrow's promo, they were offering 40% sale items. Saw one of the pairs of shoes that I purchased on Wednesday and did not like them at all, IRL. Of course, they have not shipped but no chance of canceling them, so I will wait for them to ship and then return. Left empty handed but that's ok. Only purchasing for potential items that will fill a need in my closet.
