DeleteThere is 30% off sale for Canada today only (in honour of Canada Day!). I finally just scored the swimwear i wanted with the 30% stacked on the 40% off swimwear. Really great deal (and my first purchase in months)!

DeleteI went to Madewell today and skipped JC which is practically next door. There just hasn't been that much at JC that I've been wanting lately, and their prices are whack for the things I would like. OTOH, I've been loving Madewell even though I"m probably 20 years older than their target demographic. I've gotten a few tops that are comfortable, cool and cute. Gotten tons of compliments. Today, I bought a gorgeous basic silk dress w/silk lining and pockets in a beautiful navy color. It wasn't on sale, but it was too good to pass up and at $150, I think the price wasn't too out of line. It's basic but beautiful and fit like a dream. Their stuff isn't as marked down as JC, but I'm guessing b/c it's selling much better. Although their sale stuff is 40% off/final sale in store.
