This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)
If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SUMMER & FALL sale, or to see some new FALL arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!
Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)
I visited the Galleria in Houston to make a huge return. Sale section = millions of tees plus some skirts, shorts, Jackies, other cardis, and some Bettina camis. Nothing too exciting.
ReplyDeleteOT: 30% off final sale online. I will not bite! :)
As reported by Maureen, 30% off Final Sale, $150 qualifies for free shipping. There wasn't a percentage off in store today; will check tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm done. Got the tailored denim pencil skirt and the Sylvia pumps in the last few weeks, and love them both; there's nothing else in sale that I must have. The popback tonight, Edie eyelet dress (#12102, 69.99), seems interesting (I love lace, love eyelet), but looks short.
Yay! 30% off + free ship! Just pulled the trigger on the Island Paisley and Pilar Paisley Perfect Shirts, and the Suckered Gingham shirts (all colours, yes, I'm crazy). Hate final sale, but I've done well with their more "classic" items. Saved over $90 on the order.
ReplyDeletejumped the gun on many items that qualify for the 30% off but are not final sale. what a way to try on jcrew.com-only items and with free shipping, too! :)
ReplyDeleteI got the ubiquitous $49.99 paisley cami at the store this weekend. Love the collar, if I can keep it from looking matronly. Does anyone know, can starch be sprayed on a cotton/silk blend that's dry clean only?
ReplyDeletesoooo i got the student/teacher discount off of sale items this weekend at a B&M? anyone know if the policy changed?

ReplyDeleteMy B&M (Walnut Street - Pittsburgh) now has the Rimini in Nutmeg, so I pulled the trigger and got it. I plan on wearing it zipped; I think a few people have posted about the look of the sweater unzipped. I also got the Kelcey Patent Tortoise Ballet Flats (item 26279) in Bronze Tortoise -- I think they will be a great "teacher shoe" for me this year. :) I was surprised to see that in my B&M the shoes were $125 full price, while online they are listed as $138. Not complaining, though!
ReplyDeleteFor those who saw my post under the weekend sale watch thread, I can now confirm that the Gusto cami is $78 in store. I went back this morning as I had one on hold for me and got it before they change their mind ;-). That's 20% off the online price so it sort of falls into my rule of not buying anything FP this season. By the way the zipped is in the back but it's an exposed zipper (they don't say anything about this on the website).
ReplyDeleteEma,
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting about the exposed zipper. That is important as it is too trendy for my tastes! Thanks for the heads up.
I went last Friday and they had a whole wall of sad looking rags (I mean tees) waiting for their owners..
ReplyDeleteI got the Pilar paisley cami and the Dot chiffon betsy wrap blouse. They had only one left in my size so I got it. Also several Bettina camis in the rust orange color.
Other than that nothing impressive. I stopped by BR and they had some cute stuff and a lot more shoppers than JC.
